Unlike with understanding mana as well as understanding the Body, this time aorund Jag had to take 8 months to fully grasp speed. Adn even then he hadnt learned anything new, moreso he freed himslef of his own boundaries. It would all start with his pursuit of speed of actually seeing just how fast he was. How'd he do such without seeming like blatently attacking someone? He'd use that of him being in Thew Fifty to fight 'Diego' . From how that fight had gone, Jag really didnt leanr anything past the fact that he needed to imrpove and he clearly wasnt fast.

Moreso, and he hadnt learned it yet, but he just had to much fear in siad fight. Diego had hinted this to Jag, but he just wouldnt graps it until a few months afterwards inwhich he'd speak with Stannis. Up untilt his point Jag had been in a pickle in terms of getting faster-- getting some muscle onhis bones being a obvious choice but just not enough to keep up with the Maguses of today in terms of speed. What Stanni said though would cut down on some time Jag was using to pursue his combatual style. Stannis revealed to Jag that in order to become faster, you must fight without the fear that you'd be attacked. So in order to dodge fea,r Jag would block it out with developing that of a strange style to wear a Sash over his eyes.

Jag was a man whom always went with what he heard anf ollowed it to his grave until it ended up whatevr advice he got was wrong. In this particular coinversation he had next, he'd speak with the young knight 'Izayo'. Although young, Jag looked to him simply for that of him being a knight. Not offering much to the table , he'd still hear some valubale information in terms of fighting with the Sash on. Up untilt his point Jag literally was just walking around an dbeing guided by his compaion' wolfie', as he didnt know what to do while he blocked all visual fear from himself.

But it would then be with the help of Izayo that Jag pick up the idea of listening to sound and vibrations in that to fight. So Jag went with it, he'd go about a month with just listening and going with the flow of things. Whichr eally helped him from the baffling buffon that he was before. Still, he wasnt purusing that of being a sound mage, and he'd have to reach that level to -really- be able to utilize the sound of just hearing things. So naturally Jag was sent into yet another wall of how he'd pursue his combatual road of wielding 2 pistols at the same time having it on the level of styles today.

But then he'd meet 'Matzu', luckily.

It wasnt until Jag finally spoke with a man of wisdom, Matzu being of age 42, that Jag finally got some real useful information. That his rising aciton of where he was, was indeed the right path. He was just missing a key compontent to it all, and that was using instinct. It was through using instinct you truly ascended into not caring of Fear and using what you already knew to your advantage. Up until this point really all Jag did wa slisten for sounds and vibration and when something happend, he'd react all to late for it.

Sure he didnt have much fear or flinching of where the enemy was coming from, but he was just acting all too slow to keep up. It wasnt until a briefing and understanding of using your mind and having a goal alongside beiung blinded to where Jag put the pieces togther. He was trying to use everyones advice without using his own, being blind to what he really needed to see. And it would be with this and the battle with Matzu that Jag undertstood you could get as fast as you want, but if you didnt use your -mind- udnerstand the situation with correct reaciton time, you couldnt achieve anything.

And here he was now, ready to prove to himself he had ascended.

There was a rope of meat around Jag's Neck. A odd fashion wear, but it had it's method to its madness. Alongside Jag wore no armour, nor any kind of piece that would wrrant protection. Really all what was ont he man was that filthy jacket, those dirty pants, and some badly put together bandages. With this and this alone Jag awaited the local infernus to slowly but surely come to him. He could count with his ears alone that there was about 5 coming his way, could easily Kill Jag, no problem. Them being about 20 feet away, Did Jag prep up? did he say some kind of prayer?

It may seem that way, as Jag fore once ina hwile instead of tackling a problem, he'd justs it down and guess what, not talk. He'd just await what was going to happen to happen, as if knowing death was coming. And if it was, Jag didnt seem to afraid of it coming his way as the man just sat in his crossed legged position unmoved past that of the winds casting his clothing into a flutter. A clam mind, and of course a Sash around his eyes....The Infernus based off of instinct wanted the meat, and Jag was just a side dish. They all attacked at once.

And so did Jag.

See, Speed wasnt that whoever could move the fastest, or who had the best reaciton time. It was those that never hestitated to attacka challenge. It was those that when they saw a potential attack coming their way, they neevr froze, they never stopped moving. And thats what this was, a man who wouldnt stop moving, although right now you did see a stationary target. Because the sotry must go on, they all missed. They had shot about 30 odd fireballs form about 15 feet away, and they had all missed the sitting down Jag.

A man no longer hindered by fear and letting thoughts cloud his true vision. Someone who had left that damned cowardice behind him and let it rot in battle. Without thinkiing about it, without giving it second thought just moving witht he sway of the wind, Jag had dodged the attacks. And where was he now? Behind them. Every single one of the beast just lookign forward and looking at each other of where their meal had gone. A sharp head whistle from behind them. They wouldnt be given th chance to look at Jag though as with Jag's knowledge in pressure points and weak points..

It took 5 shots. To take down 5 Infernus. And it took 1 One liner to wrap things up for Jag's understanding of true speed.....
