Touhou's bizarre adventure Chapter five: Youkai Warriors

In the dark night. It happen many years when the Forbidden Village was known to be popular and dangerous place. It has been known to be a place where youkai and onis were gather up to attack humans, far from the Human Village. In a screen where the youkais and Oni are standing up top of a cliff top, looking down at the Human Village. As they tried to attack them, only one group of youkais came to stop them. They were the tengus. They had fought the youkais and onis alike. When the battle was over, most youkais and onis wanted peace, while other were sent to a giant castle, used as a prison to lock away evil youkais and onis. It brought peace between the youkais, onis and humans together.


As they were found in the near by river, they walked up around in the sunset. Marisa and Reimu and Nitori were all walking what looks like an peaceful village, where some people who lives there could work hard. Marisa was off for some reason. She learned a little about the Forbidden Village. It's reputation doesn't fit the description to have some peaceful places in this village.

"This place. It's too good to be true. Sakuya must be trying to discuise it to keep be confortable during the day" Marisa thought.

'OOWW!'

As Marisa heard that pount, Marisa turned to see what sound was that. 'Huh?'

Marisa Kirisama was standing there she saw behind Reimu Hakurei and Nitori Kawashiro. Reimu was standing in front of Nitori, cringing on her knees. 'What's going?' Marisa asked. Reimu kept her face on Nitori as she kneel in pain. 'Well, Nitori's been begging me for a while to help. So I tried to help her create small amount of her own Hamon, using my pinky, and I kinda slipped. I'm really sorry about that, Nitori' Reimu questioned herself, as a villager was looking more human as the others, staring at them with knife in her hand.

Nitori looked at Reimu, looking mad at her. 'You jerk!' Nitori called.

As they were all having their fest, suddenly the villager cutted the ropes, holding a catapult, plus launching her, far as the eye can see, as she grabbed a small case bag, then far to a river. the villager revealed herself as one from the human village. The three travelers saw it though. 'It's just a girl, Reimu' Marisa stated. Reimu had her hands folded from the girl. 'Gotta admit, she's quite active for a young thief' Reimu replaied. Nitori got back up her feet to remind them one thing. 'We can't just be sitting doing nothing! She has our bag, filled with money in there!' as the little girl was climbing on a near by hill, Nitori grunted. 'That little jackal!' Nitori called.

'A dash and grab in one single movement. Let's go see' Marisa stated to follow that thief. Reimu walked up to the canal and sat down on her knee with one foot. 'Maybe she can be use to guide us' Reimu quoted. She put herself on praying position, as her Hamon energy glowed green. She then dipped her finger in the water, causing the water to ripple in magic. Reimu then started jogging on the water. Nitori was amazed while Marisa was a little impressed from that. 'Wow! She's not even sinking, and she's only human!' Nitori yelled. Marisa did the same as she started doing the same as Marisa jumped and ran on the water. Reimu looked back to Marisa as she was being followed. 'TouHou, your gonna have to charge up your Hamon, to keep your knees up' Reimu explained to Marisa.

As they got to the other side of the hill, where that girl was climbing on. Marisa had her hand out and pulled Hamon out of her hand and used much of her force and punched the hill, causing it to rumble. Reimu and Marisa observed the cracking hill. 'Nice punch. Your overdrive to the Hamon' Reimu. Marisa looked back to her. 'You think it's a right spot?' Marisa replied. 'No, just a few steps to the right' Reimu restated. As the yellow shock wave was making it's way, it followed the girl. As it caught up to the girl, it blasted on her face, catching her off guard, forcing her to fall. She screamed as she fell down, until Marisa caught her. 'Nice catch!' Reimu said amused.

As the girl recovered from the fall, she looked up to the adventurers. 'Who are you? what's going on here?' the girl wondered as she saw them. 'Something's not right with this girl. did I use to much Hamon' Marisa told to her friends. Reimu begged to differ. 'That girl is not the only problem' Reimu told. The two looked back on Reimu and from between the hill, the sunsets on them. They all looked around and saw where they are. Hands started to come out of the hands, indicating that there are some youkais coming out the ground. 'This is a battle arena!' Nitori stated to them. Reimu was in disbelief. 'Looks like we were caught on by her trap. Marisa, she was using that girl manipulated her to bring us here!' Reimu explained the situation she just figured out.

'Everyone, look above you!' Nitori called out to them as they saw gasp on their face. As they looked up on the large hill, they saw Sakuya Izayoi, wearing a peace of blouse with armor, like she's Joan of Arc, but with no helmet. 'Day is over. And so are your lives' Sakuya said to all of them. Marisa was meeting Sakuya again with anger in her eyes. "Sakuya!" Marisa said in a fury. More youkais were gathering around in a circle. The girl was getting scared. 'There...There every where!' the little girl called out. Nitori stood on her ground, shaking fist as she laid her eyes on Sakuya. 'I've prepared myself as this moment. Getting ready to face the one monster. I'm sweating and shaking in fear, but from staring at her to the face, and I don't plan on running! She was given a life. As when Mima was in trusted to watch Sakuya, she repaid her mother, and her friend, cold blooded death and betrayal!' I won't forgive you for this!' Nitori in her own words.

Reimu beats one of the youkais to the dirt, looked up to see Sakuya for the first time. 'So this is sakuya. Either those youkais were her own creations, or she became their leader. Either way, they can only fight in the night. She used brain washed her so she can lure us here to this arena, where we are in a disdavantage. This is this youkai, created by the mask. We need to destroy her somehow' Reimu restated. As they kept a eye on her, they saw the youkais attacking. 'Youkais!' Reimu screamed as they were starting to get violent.

as they were getting for battle stations, Marisa kept a eye on the little. 'What's your name?' Marisa ask. the girl looked back to Marisa. 'To..Tomoko' she said her name to Marisa. 'alright, Tomoko, hang on tight' Marisa wanred Tomoko, as she sat her on her back. Reimu ran to one of the youkai. 'Let's go Marisa!' Reimu called out to her. As they went back to battling with the youkais, Reimu gave them a Sendo kick, kicking one of the youkais to a pile, like a bowling ball hitting a strike. Marisa jumped to one of them and her arm extended out of her body. 'Zoom Punch!' Marisa called her attack, as she punched a youkai. Tomoko was amazed to see that. 'Wow! that's incredible!' Tomoko quoted on Marisa. Reimu suddenly flew up to a nearby area close to the Hill, Sakuya is standing on. 'Sakuya Izayoi' Reimu called to her. Sakuya looked down on Reimu, as she never knew her before. 'We never met, but I got to say that the mask have give you such great power to unleash you, so. We meet at last' Reimu spoken to Sakuya.

Sakuya gave off that wicked hiss. Reimu gave a arrogant smile, as she snapped to Sakuya 'Hey sunshine! You gonna fight me, by standing on that porch? Come on and fight me!' Reimu quoted to Sakuya. 'You're reckless for a bug. I am the philosopher's stone. A bring a new future as I give offerings to the living. I do now sank low to human level' Sakuya said when her aura glowed, and made a shock wave for out of her hand, as Reimu was almost pushed off. 'I've never self so much power before! She already fancies herself as a tyrant!' Reimu thought. Sakuya then opened up her shirt and revealed part of her scar, under her stomach. 'This is the scar that didn't heal yet after fight with Marisa. Come venturers! Give me your blood so this heal this wound!' Sakuya quoted to her new opponent. Reimu had her eyes clothes while her head was turned. 'How many innocents have you taken to heal those wounds?' Reimu said to Sakuya. Sakuya pointed her mouth as a means of getting food. 'How many slices of rice balls have you eaten?' Sakuya countered on Reimu.

Reimu gasped to hold her fear, as Marisa couldn't hold her grudge on her. 'SAKUYA!' Marisa screamed to her. Reimu then held her arm to stand back. 'Reimu Hakurei?' Reimu wanted this chance to take on Sakuya. 'Marisa, I'll handle this' Reimu told. Reimu then dose a fighting pose while trying to make a battle cry while her Hamon aura glowed. Reimu then jumped to the sky, heading to Sakuya's area. 'Prepare to die!' Reimu readied herself to give Sakuya a great punch, but she blocked her punch with a single hand. Reimu's Hamon tried to connect. 'Hakurei gods, give me strength!' She aure then grew yellow. 'Hamon Sendo Fantasy Seal!' Reimu called out her attack as she made her Hamon was tearing through Sakuya's arm armor part of tearing to pieces. 'She did it! Her Hamon is going through her arm' Marisa said glad to see Reimu take her down.

Or so it seem. Sakuya's arm suddenly turned into ice cold, stopping her Hamon, and shocking Reimu. 'How feeble!' Sakuya declared. Her hand started to grow cold. 'My hand. What's happening?' Reimu said as her arm was now suffering from the coldness of Sakuya's power, being a opposite of Reimu's Hamon. She gasped as her arm was being dry of her blood. She screamed in pain as her arm was going through frostbite. 'Reimu, was it? Your power comes from the flow of your blood. So by freezing your blood vessels, you have no power on me. You should know that I have full control over your body. I destroyed the liquid of your left arm. When it is destroyed, it sucks the head, flash freezing your arm. And now!' As Sakuya tried to punch Reimu. 'You imbecile! I crush you through arm and your skull like a piece of China! (Note: it's a vase like object).

As Sakuya was about to punch through Reimu and then possible kill Reimu, but she was saved, Marisa came in and blocked Sakuya punch, covering Reimu from behind. Marisa still had Tomoko carried on her back. 'Sakuya, I'm putting a end to your madness!' she declared. Marisa had a feeling from Sakuya's powers. 'I can feel Sakuya's blood, flowing through her hand' Marisa thought. As they all got into a position. 'Hmmm, I'll take that as a compliment. You did well to stop my fist from reaching Reimu. I got to hand it to you, you impressed me' Sakuya complimented her. Reimu had a bad feeling. 'TouHou!' She called worried about Marisa. She turned to her and nodded. As all hands were put together. 'TouHou, if I were you, I'd keep my hand to myself' Sakuya warned.

'SAKUYA!!' Marisa and Reimu said in union, while Sakuya gave off that hawl.
'RAWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRR!'
Reimu and Marisa used their Hamon energy together, hoping their combined power to destroy her. But it stopped, Sakuya's hand started to go cold again. 'Once your hand is frozen, no blood will flow through it! Your Hamon won't work!' Sakuya explained. 'She's to strong! She's five times stronger then both of us combined, even with our Hamon. No! She'll freeze her arm, just like she did with mine! I can't let Marisa get killed. Reimu tried to land a kick, but Sakuya saw it coming, as she countered it with her hand, piercing it with her claws. Reimu screamed in agony as blood was coming out of her. 'Reimu!' Marisa worried, as she pushed herself and Reimu off of Sakuya. They fell from the mountain. 'This is impossible!' Nitori said, couldn't believe how strong Sakuya.

Tomoko fell as well, but Nitroi caught her, while Reimu and Marisa fell to the ground. Marisa got up and looked at her cold hand, blue from frostbite. 'My hand! it's so cold, I can feel it burning! It's like it's peeling from touching cold metal!' Marisa said to herself as she took a look at it. Nitori and Tomoko looked at Reimu's arm, from. 'Reimu's arm. It'll rot if it won't circulate!' Nitori stated from Reimu's forzen injury. 'She can't be killed without Solar Hamon! Can we be able to stand against her!?' Marisa wonderd.

Up top of the hill. 'Hamon? I've heard of it. That breathing style of energy, and Sendo. It was originated from the outside world. If you want to Huff and Puff!' Sakuya cutted herself of by making the mountain shake rise. All of them were frighten out of their mind. 'The grounds shaking!' Nitori said. They saw a mountain rising from the ground. 'Then how about you challenge my youkai warriors in my honor!' Sakuya told them. 'Kyouko Kasodani! Kogasa Tatara! Come forth and fight, my youkai warriors! Make them scream for my music to my ears!' Sakuya said, as suddenly appeared the mountain. As it risen, then came her youkai warriors. The left side was a dog youkai with dog ears, Kyouko Kasodani. The other side was a Karasaka, then youkai, holding a parasol, with a big eye and has a mouth, Kogasa Tatara. They rised from the mountain as they looked down at their opponent, waiting for their mistress's command. Kyouko was more like a man dog youkai as she growled at them.


As the two stood on the mountain, they showed a angered face, holding a grudge on someone. 'Who are those monsters?!' Nitori questioned. 'You two were abused by the cruelty of humans! Now settle your grudge, by starting on these two worms! Have fun!' Sakuya reminded her warriors. They stomped on the mountain, causing both, for the youkai warriors to jump, also destroying it in the process. 'Those two destroyed it with one jumped?!' Nitori stated on them. Reimu was a bit shocked as they tried to make their way to Marisa. 'They're heading to Marisa's area!' Reimu warned, as they soon landed in Marisa's direction, making her feel trap between a fight and a hard place. 'She can't take on both opponents! If only I had some circulation!' Reimu quoted. 'Well what?' Nitori asked. 'I could try to heal my hand a bit. Is there something that can melt my arm?' Reimu replied. Nitori looked back at the two youkai warriors. 'You to heat up your arm, is that it?' Nitori asked Reimu. She looked back to the kappa. 'You have a plan?' Reimu replied to Nitori.

Nitori then grabbed Reimu's arm and then took of her blouse, showing herself in green-blue shorts and sports bra. She brought Reimu's arm on her DD cups, between her cleavage, making it look like she's a living oven, made of flesh. 'How's thissssssssssss!?' Nitori yelled. Reimu found it both amazing and weird, for Nitori to place her arm on the heat of her flesh. 'Nitori! How can you!?~' Reimu was to surprised to finish. 'I read a book of the outside world, in the Arctic, people treat their frostbites by putting the cold wound in their body head' Nitori explained.

To the battle, Kyouko jumped up to a pounce, like the dog she is, trying to tackle Marisa as she growled at her. Marisa tried to retaliate by dislocating her arm. 'Zoom Punch!' Marisa called to her attack, extending her arm by trying to punch her. 'I'll tear you to pieces!' As she dodged the punch and then pounced Marisa on the ground. She tried to bite Marisa's face like other mad dogs do.

As Nitori was continuing her heal the frozen wound. 'Nitori, I don't know what to say' Reimu said. 'I wanted to take part of this, cause I figured you might think I would slow you down' Nitori told Reimu.

As Kyouko tried to bite her, but Marisa held on the vicious dog youkai, trying to keep her from getting fangs on Marisa. 'If she's distracted this way, then I can use my Hamon on her. Marisa's hands turn sparked up as she charged her Hamon. 'SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERCHARGE!' Marisa's attacked echoed, as she tried to zap Kyouko, but it only did little damage to the dog youkai. 'It didn't work! is this because she's not part of the mask's power?!' Marisa wondered and she was struggling with the youkai warrior. As Nitori was still healing Reimu. 'I misjudge you. I thought you were just gonna flee to save your own skin. I'm truly sorry' Reimu apologise. 'If we live, I'll accept your apology' Nitori replied to the Hakurei.

As for Kogasa then showed hersel, as she showed her parasol, suddenly alive, moving her tongue, ready to eat Marisa like a dog. 'I got to get my arm free and fast!' Reimu stated. 'It's giving me the chills like your arm is! That umbrella makes Halloween directions look like small fries!' Nitori also stated. Nitori looked at their faces, having the ability to see through a person's face. 'There faces. I can read their faces. Those two have secrets alright!' Nitori quoted to them.

Sakuya stood on the hill she didn't move from the hill. 'Every Gensokyion knows about those youkais. I read on the book, the suffering youkais!' Sakuya said, acting like a history teacher.


It was more then fifty years ago, there were the two peaceful youkais, Kyouko Kasodani, the kind youkai dog, and Kogasa Tatara, the karakasa obake. They had a wonderful friendship. They had peaceful lives like humans did. Kogasa liked to scare humans for the fun of it. Kyouko would often to see her try to scare anyone. But when the war started from the forbidden Village, they were mistaken for trying to kill humans by scaring them to catch them off guard. They were taken to their prison. As they lived in the castle as prisoners, they were treated cruelly, beats, rapes and a lot worse. They couldn't take it anymore, they wanted out. Kyouko was slamming the bars like a madman, behaving like a wild animal. 'When I get out, I'll bring death to those that imprisoned us here for nothing!' she growled. Kogasa was standing a few feet away from Kyouko, with a stern face on her. 'When we do, I'll make humans suffer with fears they can't fathom' Kogasa said. They then looked up to the sky, hoping that someday they have freedom, so they can get their revenge of the pitiful humans.

'That story gave me so much goose bumps, I wanted to find them and unlock them out of their prison! They cursed those mangy humans. They had to swore their loyalty to me to get out! So I did and made them my warrior!' Sakuya Explained to them. 'We gave our allegiance to Sakuya!' Kogasa said. 'We will make all of them pay for throwing us like animals in a cage!' Kyouko said. the two walked side by side. 'Death to all!!' They said in a union.

Nitori shaked as she remember the story from the book. 'What hatred. Their vengeance are stronger then ever thanks to Sakuya! How can Marisa stand a chance in this fierce battle?' Nitori wondered. Marisa had her hands in a red aura. 'My Hamon burns like the sun and fire!' As Marisa tried one more time on the dog youkai. 'Scarlet Overdrive!' the echo called to Marisa's attack, as this time it pushed her away, making the dog youkai yelp from the attack. Nitori and Marisa were astounded. 'Whoa! Amazing!' Reimu remarked. 'I forgot' As Marisa stood in a fighting pose while in spirited, both of soul of Mima and the spirit of Brolli Diamondback. 'She has the spirit in her. The death of her mother and the hope for the future. She has hope for all of us!' Nitori remembered.

The two warrior looked closely at Marisa as she began to smile. 'She's got skill for a girl. She'll make a great warm up, after spending days training under Sakuya' Kyouko said. Marisa then tried to keep her guard up, but suddenly she saw a big horned oni, ready to eat Marisa, as she howled at her. 'I want to eat this human's flesh! I'll bite at your heart and spit it out and used the remains to drink saké out of it!' The oni yelled. Marisa got ready. 'A oni!' she feared. Suddenly Kyouko appeared and grabbed the oni. 'You weren't called to fight!' the dog youkai said to the oni, suddenly throwing the oni at the other side.

Kyouko then looked up to her mistress. 'Mistress Sakuya, she has great spirit. I wish to battle her so I can kill in my honor' the dog youkai requested to her mistress. 'Very well, you may do as you wish' Sakuya promised. Kyouko then turned to Marisa and Kogasa. 'Kogasa, step back' she told her partner. Kogasa then placed her living parasol away. Reimu and Nitori can tell it's not gonna be pretty. 'She like a warrior that spares no man!' Reimu stated on the youkai. 'You can almost feel the spirit in her pride!' Nitori replied.

Marisa putted up her dykes for the fights. 'It's funny. She's been know to be in prison for years and wanted revenge on the humans, and now she's gonna start with me! I need to keep calm if I want to keep my breathing on my Hamon' Marisa stated. Kyouko then started charging at Marisa by trotting like a lion, ready to strike her. 'She's trotting! How can I tell if she can strike or not! What could she use if she decides to pull out a weapon' Marisa wondered.

Kyouko tried to use a sword to strike, but no she throws it at Marisa. As she dodged the sword, she then found the youkai warrior and kicked her to the canal. 'Your good alright, real good. You have very knee senses like I do. I'll take great joy!' Kyouko said as jumped up with Marisa.

Marisa was screaming as she fell down to the canal. 'Marisa!!' Nitori called to her. Kyouko and Marisa fell to the water, down and under. Nitori and Reimu were worried what's gonna happen. 'This is bad. She can't breath under there! Her Hamon won't work unless she breaths' Reimu quoted. 'We have to help her!' Nitori stated. They tried to run to the canal, but Kogasa landed in front before they could make. 'K-Kogasa!' Reimu called her name. 'We can't help her in this rate. Shit! Nitori stated again.

Sakuya stood as she looked down as she had her finger touch her chin. 'She's finish. She can't touch Kyouko while under water' Sakuya thought, then to words, 'My supervision is no longer needed! I'll turn the Forbidden Village into the Monster Village! One more night, then all of them will finish what they failed to do years ago! Take over the Human Vilage!' Sakuya said as she disappeared into a swarm of bats, as they all flew away.

Underwater the two opponent stood there, but one problem, youkais have hours to breath, then humans do. Marisa was slowly losing oxygen. 'This is bad. I need to breath to create my Hamon. I just need to breath' Marisa only thought, trying not to talk. Kyouko smiled wickedly, waiting for Marisa to make a move. 'Come on, swim for the surface, human girl. You can't breath down here, and my weight is light as a feather. I won't use a sword. This is a battle of wits!' the youkai explained to Marisa. She started losing more air, as she tried to hold on to her throat. 'You got to breath, or you'll drown!'

Marisa looked down to her situation. 'Can I make it up to the surface before she can? What can I do?!' Marisa thought, and suddenly she lost all her breath. As death threatened to take Marisa, she explosive her inner reserves awakened. A ordinary human, her lungs are screaming for breath, would swim upward. But not Marisa. Instead, she turned and swam deeper toward the bottom. 'What is she doing?' Kyouko wondered strange to her. As she got deeper and deeper, a vision came of her mother Mima, along her childhood, back when she still had her yukkuri, yukkurisa, as she was pulling on her toy sword. 'Hmm? Yukkurisa won't let go of your toy sword? It's because your trying yo take it away from her. You need to change your thinking, and try to give it to your yukkuri instead' Mima explained to Marisa in her memory, as the childhood memories faded away.

She found the bottom and tried to make it fast. 'Forbidden Village is a coal village. That means the ground sank there long ago' Marisa looked down and saw a large rock. 'There it is!' Marisa made way to the boulder and tried to pull it off. 'There should be air trapped under this rock!' Marisa then pulled and suddenly air bubbles appeared out, waiting to be free from it's rocky prison. 'I did it! Now I just need to take one breath and then my blood will flowing will be restored!' Marisa's aura turned light blue. 'No way!' Kyouko was shocked. Marisa took the air bubbles and breathed lots of it, as the aura got stronger. 'Now the tables have turned! Hamon will travel, even beyond the seas!' As Marisa got her fist ready. 'Turquoise Blue Overdrive!' Marisa echo her attack, as it was about to strike at Kyouko.
