  2. [7:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Everything is falling into places. The dragon threatening the monastery's slain, the hide made into armor, and the morale of the troops are raised despite the horrifying odd.

  4. [7:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The night in the monastery was comfortable.
  5. [7:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: For a nightmare, this isn't too bad.
  6. [7:34 PM] Mizuki: (keep feeding yaya with music, I wanna stay awake!)
  7. [7:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Then, in the morning. Everything went wrong.
  8. [7:35 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: It first started with a frantic scout fleeing back from the frontline near the orc's base of operation, one of the brave man that went with Lyria for a strike against the orcs.
  9. [7:35 PM] §upposition: (Hoo boy, playing from mobile)
  10. [7:36 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: With her last breath, the scout whispers of the princess fallen due to the orc's traps, and is in unknown situation.
  11. [7:37 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Nhari Bright immediately starts organizing a rescue party, and was in the process of asking you to join him when a part of the monastery was set on fire by orcs.
  12. [7:37 PM] Runic: (I'll do my best Mizuki!)
  13. [7:37 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: It seems that with the princess disabled, the orcs are starting to try to finish the job, and started employing fire spells and oil in their regular tactics.
  14. [7:38 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The initial fire are quickly put out, as the monastery is mostly stone, but the lingering smell of the burning oil seems to have a dampening effect on the soldier's spirits.
  15. [7:38 PM] Mizuki: (the princess clearly is the dreamer :smugpopo:)
  16. [7:39 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Then the second, and the last scout returns, with the news of the princess's execution by the orc's hands.

  18. [7:39 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: In a fit of fury, Bright organized for rest of the soldiers for a final assault against the orcs.

  20. [7:40 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: This is one hell of a morning. What will you do, adventurers?

  23. [7:42 PM] Mizuki: Alicia didn't arrive in the monastery along with the rest of the adventurers. She was awake. In fact she had no idea what was going on.
  24. [7:43 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Recelle seems a bit lonely, unable to find... Someone to pamper. But she's around and able to fill you in on what happened the last few moments, somehow not finding it strange that you don't seem to remember much of the last day's journey.
  25. [7:43 PM] Mizuki: "Well, we're not here to fight a war, but we don't have any idea of what we should do anyway. We should just follow the flow for now, I guess." - She looks around confused(edited)

  27. [7:44 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "... In short, we slain the dragon, and arrived, we talked a bit - oh, go get your blessing!" Recelle claims, before draggong Alicia to obtain the Blessing of the Wind, if she hasn't already.
  28. [7:44 PM] §upposition: Denalthir wakes groggily at the news, but really, isn't terribly surprised. She walks around slowly until she finds herself a bathroom to freshen up in. A rare luxury she intends to take full advantage of. She will be a while.

  36. [7:47 PM] Mizuki: "I don't think we have another choice Lexon" - Started Alicia still a bit dazed - " We don't even know what we should be looking for."

  40. [7:47 PM] Sawai: Wakes up to being pampered by Recelle. Unsure as to why, but too distracted to wonder about it.

  46. [7:50 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Before you ask... Azura isn't sure that she can travel that far without being detected by orc sky patrols. Maybe if she's lucky...

  111. [8:05 PM] Mizuki: Alicia feels heavy for a moment. She knows what is like to lose companions, what is like to lose loved ones.

  116. [8:07 PM] Faerie: ''Nhari? Are we setting off right now, then?'' Upon hearing the Commander's voice, Razmik inquires further, rubbing one of his eyes. ''I heard something about some fire somewhere, what happened?''

  118. [8:07 PM] Mizuki: "Nhari... We don't know for sure what's happening there" - Alicia starts - "The reports may be wrong..."(edited)
  119. [8:07 PM] Kaperis: "Ahaha, that's a good way of thinking about it, sir!" John says mirthfully. After all, with the orcs getting bolder in their attacks by the day, the monastery needs to start pushing back.
  120. [8:08 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Recelle whispers back to the princess, saying that it seems that their princess has fallen in combat, and the noble is going into a fit of rage about it.
  121. [8:08 PM] §upposition: Denalthir stands back and listens. She knows how this will end, and considers a feeble bit of resistance...
  122. [8:08 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Nhari merely looks at the group emptily. "You are not officially soldiers of Falis, I have no actual way to command you into a fight to the death against the orcs. It's best if you leave Windsmere and never return."

  124. [8:09 PM] §upposition: "...Are you sure that this is a good plan? It would seem that a blind rush into a slaughter might lead to nothing more than all of your deaths. Reconsider."
  125. [8:10 PM] §upposition: Denalthir says this blankly, and without much emotion, but looks Nhari dead in the eyes.
  126. [8:10 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "... If my life can be exchanged for the death of one orc..." Nhari grins, yet without a hint of emotion.

  130. [8:10 PM] Faerie: Leaving here? It may have been because he had just gotten up, but that was just silly. Tailing it right before the moment of truth didn't seem like a good idea to Razmik in the slightest. Leave where, anyway? They didn't even belong in this plane!

  141. [8:12 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The monks are in collective mourning at the news, and some are preparing to enter battle as well, though more to defend the monastery than to take vengeance into their hands.
  142. [8:13 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "Hey, if Lyria still lives, I am sure a few hundred dead orcs will only do the world good." Nhari snaps at John.

  188. [8:27 PM] Faerie: Meanwhile, Razmik, always on time starts donning his armor after going through the inchantations and prayers for the day, in his mind. It was always a hassle without a friendly pair of hands, but he hurriedly finishes and gets his bearings before running to the group.

  190. [8:27 PM] Mizuki: "We don't know anything about the curse out there. It may end up killing you before you even reach an orc" - Alicia answers
  191. [8:28 PM] §upposition: Denalthir steps forward. "Please, I know you are incredibly upset right now. But is it really worth the loss of your life? Have you nothing to live for? Anyone worth living for?"

  194. [8:29 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "Either we all get stuck in here, or someone go test it, right? I am good as anyone." Nhari seems to break for a moment, displaying a deep emotional wound. Denalthir's words seem to only have made it worse, spurring him forward silently again.

"Hmm... you know, there was this one time goblins caught one of Armsdale's messenger pigeons during a siege and decided -not- to eat it right away! When we received it, the message from high command said 'OPIN GATS' with the rest of the lines scratched out. I guess it goes to show you that even goblins know there's more than one way to break a siege, eh?"

  216. [8:33 PM] Runic: Lexon looks around and at everyone worringly, "We're going now?"
  217. [8:33 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: It seems that this doesn't stop the army from mobilizing, but you are at least given some time to do whatever it is that you may be able to do.
  218. [8:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: In addition to the dozen soldiers that you may be able to select, which may or may not include Illiad or Bucky at your discretion, two monks, bearing longsword and lightly armored, will also join you.
  219. [8:34 PM] Mizuki: "two hours to gather information outside" - She answers - "The battlefield is under some kind of magical influence for sure. Azura scouted the place"
  220. [8:35 PM] Faerie: "Right, and why are we in such a hurry to depart all of sudden? Something happen?"
  221. [8:35 PM] Kaperis: John salutes. "--Thanks," he whispers aside to Alicia.
  222. [8:35 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "Erm, some scouts return with news that the princess died." She squeezes OUR princess a bit tighter, protectively. "Not this one. Lyria."
  223. [8:36 PM] Runic: Lexon having other plans, gives a weak nod with saddened expression "Alright let me take the time to get ready, I'll be back in a bit"
