  1. Dear Community Managers,
  2.
  3. We, in the CS:GO division, have had quite a troublesome time with our Division Commander, Moshi. We feel like we have tried to resolve these matters within our meetings, but it hasn't worked out. There are a few pointers we would like to direct your attention to in this regard:
  4.
  5. Moshi’s general attitude about what is going on in the division. It seems his idea is for him to sit back and do nothing and let everyone else handle the work for him.
  6. Not only has his attitude towards the distribution of work be negative, but also towards events not created by him. One of our members had hosted a night of “start roulette” and it was voluntary to join. He decided to join in, but didn’t find the event fun. He proceeds to try and change the event to something he would like to do, and when voted down, was so negative about it, that half the people had a very negative experience.
  7.
  8. Another issue is the way he addresses complaints. We have two occasions in mind here. First of, there was an event a few weeks ago where Roshi was going to be away for a week. He had failed to inform of this, and was contacted on steam by ScarlettKitty (Eva). At that point Eva told Moshi that the workload was too big for just one CSO, additionally, him not helping out. She needed help and that Roshi was away for the Easter holidays. He contacted Roshi on the forums in an aggressive manner, saying:
  9.
  10. “It has come to my attention that you will be absent for a month because of family vacation. In the future please send me a pm on the forums or on steam (preferably on forums). Anyways have a nice holiday vacation.”
  11.
  12. The issue with this message, in our eyes, is the wording of it. Rather than approaching Roshi, verifying the information he had gotten, he jumped to the conclusion that Roshi was going to be gone for a month for Easter without leaving any notice. It was going to be five days. We have no idea where the whole month came from.
  13.
  14. We experienced the same type of approach from Moshi’s side when Eva accepted people from the old CS:GO division without conducting a tryout first. This is a policy we decided on earlier so it should not have been an issue. Rabbit asked Moshi why people got accepted to the division without a tryout or a probation period. Once again, rather than asking Eva what had happened, he went straight to accusing her of not following the general rules of recruitment.
  15.
  16. Additionally, there was an incident where we were playing a game with a guy who had a “ff ban”. Eva sought out Cerviel what would happen if a person with a “ff ban” that was older than 365 days wanted to join the CS:GO division. This person (Exoticzlol) was used as an example in this case (At this point we should point out that Eva knows this person is 16 years old so he cannot join anyway). From what we know Cerviel took this to rooq, who then informed Moshi about the question. Once again, Moshi came to Eva, blaming her for breaking the recruitment charter and wanting to recruit a person with an “ff ban”. Additionally, this was on TeamSpeak, in the middle of a tryout, in front of everyone in the room.
  17.
  18. Also we are aware that community managers were concerned on how emotional Eva gets sometimes and that they informed Moshi about it but yet he approached it so wrong behaving to her like she’s a kind of a psychopath that needs help and that we are here to help her and such. It was more a beat down on Eva’s personality than it was constructive support. Eva is aware of her being emotional out of her frustration sometimes and is improving on this matter.
  19.
  20. Moshi decided to set up a weekly meeting, which was nice addition. Although at first he didn’t ask us anything about when we would be available for these meetings. Most of us were unavailable during the weekends and the time was set at almost midnight. But he expected/ordered us to be there at that specific time and date.
  21.
  22. “We will have a weekly meeting on Friday Saturday Monday at 20:00 GMT, from there we will discuss any possible issues or suggestions for the division. During that time officers can also seek approval for any suggestions. Please give me at least 1 day in advance if you can not attend.
  23.
  24. TL;DR Please show up to the weekly meeting every Monday at 9pm UK time, we will talk about any problems / suggestions. Also use that time to ask for approval for things.”
  25.
  26.
  27. Now the things is we sorted it out, the time and day for a weekly meeting, but starting the first week this was implemented he didn’t show up the first half hour, we had to call him. He responded that he overslept and hadn’t been sleeping well. We kind of had an okay meeting and sorted a few things out. We all had our tasks for the next week.
  28.
  29. It was really hard to have a serious conversation with Moshi, so we told him we wanted to take things more seriously next time. Which is still to this day hard to accomplish, it is sort of possible though, but his general behavior just doesn’t fit it. This is not something that should stand out in an Division Commander’s character in our opinion.
  30.
  31. The second meeting he was on time, the third meeting we had to bring attention to him that it was already 30 minutes later than the discussed time and that the meeting should already have started. He said he saw it as a reminder that it was his job as DC to organise these meetings and that he would take it more seriously, when Raikou confronted him, he said it was a wake-up call. Unfortunately it didn’t make any difference, because again at the 5th meeting he has not shown up and we decided to not remind him anymore. He’s even playing CS:GO during the meeting we’re in now. Which means he does have time, but doesn’t spend it here with us or just does not realise that we have a meeting. Also hasn’t contacted any of us about it.
  32.
  33. On the first meeting, five weeks ago, we decided that we wanted some of the questions in the initial recruitment questions changed. We asked about the progress of this at every meeting, and he had not gotten around to it yet and he would do it the following day. Last monday (9th of May), he promised once again to do this the next day, but did not do this either. On friday Raikou took matters into his own hands and made the post himself, only to figure out that Moshi had never asked any CM about our request.
  34.
  35.
  36. Another issue we have is his activity. It’s been 3-4 weeks that he is inactive and only appeared at meetings and kinda late most of them. We are aware he left a message about inactivity but 10 days ago he wrote he is back. Yet we never saw him around. Now he said he is away again for an exam he has on the 20th. Still playing casuals on CS:GO even while we had our today’s meeting that he never showed up. We all went through exam periods and we know that he needs time but he could at least come for 5 minutes to make sure his division is running properly, it’s not the end of the world. The situation is on the point that members ask who is he cause they never got the chance to meet him or talk to him and we’re sure he doesn’t know anyone from our new members.
  37.
  38. There are other things we could say, but I think we’ve said enough. We would like to conclude that we don’t see Moshi fit to be our Division Commander anymore. We wanted to include the community managers to this issue, because we’re not sure how to proceed.
  39.
  40. Please let us know your thoughts on the matter so we can all figure out how to move forward.
