stories of the doctor. (part 2) (pip)

Twilight rested on the roof, still within earshot of pipsqueeks story. her wings ruffled a little in the breeze as she finished raising the sun.
since celestias disapearance the sun was never the same. when luna raised it for the first twenty years or so it only shown at half strength, barely enough to light the land to grow the basic foods. the strain on luna was taxing, and with Cadence off on another part of equestria that survived, las pegasus (which was blown over the ghastly gorge to rest above appleoosa and protected both by her and her husband) she could not pick up the mantle of raiser of the sun.
twilight remembered the day that Luna asked her to join the ranks of the alicorns and become princess of the sun, temporaraly of corse, so that equestria could shine like before.
twilight accepted, if only to help let luna to get some rest.
but that was in the past now, and there were far more pressing matters at hand...
like the invasion that Twilight did not like...
she listened in, to the conversation below and heard pip pick up his story again.
"how wrong i was... " pipsqueek said looking up through the skylight

The woods were dark, my wooden sword cut through the branches with... well not at all. i soon gave up trying to hack my way through and instead pressed on.
i soon got to where the greenwood tree would be.. but instead of finding Robbing, i found something else..
my friend.
he was eartip to tail solid granite. his eyes frozen wide with fear.
i stepped back and looked around, i spotted others... ones i recognized.
extra cheese, the pizza pony.
knitting needles, the pony who sells the yarnballs to my mother.
and even Silver bullet, the engineer of the train from canterlot to trottingham.
i turned around slowly, suddenly seeing a tail slither behind a pony i did not reconize,
i started to follow it when an arrow hit the ground in front of me.
i saw... a strange tan colt with a brown mane up in the tree. as he was not a pegasai i did not see how he got in the tree in the first place, but there he was.
he motioned me to be silent and looked down, his eyes focusing on... something.
he drew back his bow, angling it off in the distance, and let it fly.
the tail i saw suddenly vanished, chasing after the noise.
the tan colt quickly motioned for me to follow him as he lept down.
the colt took off through the forest at a gallop, and i followed him to his destination. a blue Royalguard box, like the kind celestia put in every city around the 1860's...
he rushed into the door and i followed.
(possibly add in rustling of leaves or something like the creature is chasing them..)
i stepped into the box and froze "i-it... it is..." i started to say as the pony snapped the door shut
"bigger on the inside.. i know." the tan colt replyed as he ran to what looked like the main console."
"are you.. are you robbing hoof?" i asked him as i walked carefully up the steps to the console
"Robbing hoof? really? haha.. never been called him before." the tan colt said as he walked around, flicking leavers and pushing a few buttons "I am The Doctor. and what that is outside is a Cockatrice. a creature that seems to have the effect of a medusa on ponies..." The doctor said looking into a screen showing a creature with the body of a dragon, and the head of a chicken "ahh.. there you are... now.. it seems to effect ponies in the visible spectrum..."
he then rambled on about stuff like.. wireless connections, and petrification virusus...
all i know is that as he talked for what seems like an eternity, the cockatrice was honing in on the camera.. as if it could sense my gaze on the screen.
the chicken head turned and looked directly at me... the glare in his eyes was... heartstopping.
i felt my feet freeze up, the stone crawling up my legs.
The Doctor noticed and whipped out what looked like a penlight. he aimed it up and down me and hmmed.
the stone crept along my body, reaching my front legs...
the doctor smiled seemingly pleased with himself "got it. visual wavelenth the opposite of its red eyes."
he jammed the light into the console and pulled a leaver.
i watched as the red light flared up the console... untill the stone overtook my eyes.
i dont know how long i was out. nor do i know what happened afterwords.
i woke up in my bed and it was like nothing had happened.
all the ponies were back. no one said anything about the guard box. the flash of green though was seen for miles around the forest.. and it was still on everyponies tongue clear till we left for ponyville.

Pipsqueek finished his story and blushed "but.. thats why if we can ask him to join us.. i am sure he could be a benifit to us. a help."
the others looked and conversed amongst themselves
"pip.. ah like you, and know you would never honestly try to steer us wrong.. but ah have to tell you.. this doctor fella. he aint a help to us." Big mac said
"what doth thou mean big mac?" luna said looking to the red farm-pony
"ah mean what i said..."
Big mac stood up. he squared his sholders and looked the princess in the eye
"When disaster comes, he is there, he brings the storm in his wake..."
