Hunk had spent the past week wading through sewage but he was finally at the Raccoon Police Station. Had it not been for his gas mask, he would probably have died from the pure stench of the sewers but even with his protective gear, he had still noticed that there was a faint but distinctive smell throughout the sewers that he could only describe as ‘female’.
“Night Hawk, this is Hunk from Alpha Team. Where is my extraction point?” asked Hunk into his radio.
“Still alive, huh,” answered Night Hawk, “I thought you were all wiped out but I guess there’s no keeping down-“
“My extraction point,” repeated Hunk.
“Relax, Mister Reaper. It’s at the front gate of the police station.”
Hunk didn’t reply but instead started jogging through the police station, avoiding all the zombies in his way. Suddenly, as Hunk was making his way through a narrow hallway, he heard heavy stomping and yelling a room or two away from him. The only word he could make out this far away from the source was “Leon”.
“How are you holding up, Hunk?” asked Night Hawk through the radio.
“I’m making my way towards the extraction point.”
“Man of few words, huh?”
“My extraction point, be there,” repeated Hunk and turned off his radio.
Hunk slowly opened the door to the room where he suspected the stomping and yelling came from. He was met by the sight of a giant, gorilla-looking man wearing a black trench coat and a fedora powerwalking through the room, checking every closet, door and even behind the wallpaper at times. In his left hand, the man was holding a briefcase.
“God damn it, Leon!” the giant shouted, “Stop hiding! Marry my sister instead!”
Hunk rolled out the map he had found three days ago in the sewer. It was a detailed map of the police station and judging by his surroundings, he could safely say that he was in the main hall. However, as he put the map away, he noticed that the giant was walking towards him with quick but powerful steps. Hunk pulled out his shotgun and shot the large man three times in the face. The giant’s hat flew off but he was otherwise unfazed and picked Hunk up by the throat.
“Who are you? You aren’t Leon!”
“I’m looking for my extraction point,” Hunk calmly replied.
“If you help me find Leon S. Kennedy and make him marry and impregnate my sister, I will take you to your extraction point and pay you a hundred dollars.”
Hunk thought the situation through and came to the conclusion that helping the strange man would be easier than fighting or outrunning him. He agreed to the man’s terms quickly and concisely. The giant put him down on the ground and shook his hand before stomping off, yelling for Leon. Hunk noticed that the giant had left the briefcase and curiosity overwhelmed him. Inside the briefcase there were five vials full of white liquid. They were all labelled “Leon ‘Stallion’ Kennedy”. Hunk closed the briefcase and went looking for this Leon or his extraction point. It all depended on which he found first.
Just as he was about to exit the police station, Hunk heard the giant’s voice scream about missing his briefcase and that Leon had outrun him. Hunk hurried outside and was surprised to see wanted posters on all the zombies outside. They were all dedicated to Leon S. Kennedy and described him as a virile and strong man capable of creating offspring rivalling gods. Hunk glanced at the briefcase and put two and two together. He turned his radio back on and called Night Hawk.
“What the hell, Hunk. What happened?”
“I found something more powerful than the G-virus. It might even be more powerful than a good extraction point.”
“What is it, then?”
“I’ll show you when I get to the extraction point.”
Hunk ran at a comfortable pace until he reached the front gate of the police station. Suddenly his radio was assaulted by screaming. It was the giant!
“God damn it, Hunk! You stole my briefcase! It was for my sister! Leon sterilised himself! Apparently someone claiming to be his son from the future but also me told him that my sister, impregnated by him, would give birth to not just me but also the anti-Christ and that the only way to avoid this future was to make him unable to procreate! My sister needs that briefcase and its contents if she is to ever be truly happy! Surely you understand this, Hunk!”
Hunk didn’t answer but continued out on the streets. In the distance he could see a helicopter closing in on his location. He had finally reached his extraction point.
