Reasoning: *After a long conversation with Velo, he was given multiple ideas on how to take down the saiyans efficiently without having to kill them and out of all the options the one that seemed the most logical was simply "get stronger". They theorized the fact that just like his form, perhaps there was more to it than what it was giving off and after watching what Orega was able to do, he came to the conclusions that it really doesn't just stop there and unlike the saiyaness he had more experience with it due to having it and using it for longer periods of time so it was really nothing for him to replicate what she did which was basic energy control techniques applied to the super saiyan transformation.

*The one thing that Fon hated the most had happened right before his very eyes. A cold hearted mindless massacre, the very thing he was fighting so hard to prevent and it happened to the same person who doubted the saiyans could change simply proving his point but in a way Fon was confident he didn't want. Fon gave his all to save him alongside Velo but to no avail as they lost and Orega proceeded to stomp his head out until it was nothing but mush. The sight of this followed by the guilt of his failure to stop his brethren drove him mad, forcing an unseen power out of him.

*It was his last ditch effort to put a stop to the massacre and save Orega from herself.

Moment: Fon's failure to save Jica left him feeling a bit numb. He was quite literally speechless as he couldn't do anything but watch from the ground looking up at Orega as she stomps down on Jica's head in the most brutal fashion. The feeling of hopelessness returned once again and even moreso amplified since his crushing defeat to Chabi, he felt as though not only was he unable to protect his friends from his tyrannical siblings but he couldn't save his family and bring it together the way he wanted. Even after defeating her and trying to talk her out of her destructive ways, he failed and that led to Jica's death. He felt as though this was all his fault, his weakness and his incompetence brought on the suffering of those who loved him and yet another undeserving death.

Fueled by a strong rage, Fon gets up once again in a final attempt to beat sense into his sibling in a similar way he did with David when he was rampaging now using an advanced stage of super saiyan identical to her own to combat her. He was doing this for Jica but more importantly for the safety of Orega, he knew damn well that the others would not be as merciful should they get their hands on her which is why he absolutely had to do this himself.
