---- Diverse Roleplay Server Rules.
1. Sportsmanship.


This can be otherwise stated as, "Civility". We are all here to have fun with one another and this is a Game afterall, and every player should think about the outcome of their actions before they say or do certain things.

Do not be a poor Sportman. This includes ( name-calling, bad attitudes, OOC insults, racism, hate speech, spam, excessive caps lock, griefing, trolling, provoking, harassment, threatening) If you make a mistake apologize for it. Not one person is better than anyone else, we are a Community and without each other we would not be here. This Does Include In-Character provoking you are not allowed to provoke period it just adds to unnecessary controversy.

Punishment : Admin Jail Or Temporary Ban from Game Server



2. IC and OOC Chat.


All chatting functions are in character unless bracketed with double parenthesis. (( Chat )). All OOC chat should be done through /b and /pm. Do not use any internet shortcuts in In-Character Chat unless texting a player on the In-Game cellphone system. All In-Character and Out of Character chat must be in English unless using the /pm function. ( Do NOT use non-english in /b)


Examples:

-Don't do this. "Hey, I am looking for some toys (( Guns ))."

-Dont do this. "how 2 find the DMV lol."

-And Remember ONLY ADMINS CAN GO OOC!! Unless asking a game related question or replying to an Administrator conversation in /b should be limited.


Punishments are typically verbal warnings given by administrators. Continuous misuse of the chat function may result in an admin jail and/or a temporary ban while administrators determine your understanding of the game server rules.

Punishment : Admin Jail or Temporary Ban from Game Server.



3. Deathmatch.


Deathmatch is the act of killing another player for little to no reason. Killing is a serious subject and your role play should reflect that.

This includes Revenge Killing which is when you attempt to kill a player who has recently killed you. Your memory of recent events are wiped out upon death for 30 Real Life minutes., so you are unable to remember who killed you. However, if the situation is Voided by an Administrator or you recieve medical attention from the LSFD you are able to continue the situation, but you are REQUIRED TO ROLEPLAY YOUR INJURIES.. This means i do NOT want to see people who were recently shot just running around. You WILL BE ADMIN JAILED for failure to roleplay injuries realistically.


-This is a Heavy Roleplay Environment and you are required to roleplay your shootings and such realistically and the after effects.

-You are also not allowed to Attack or Rob, any on-duty LSFD or LSPD member. (LSPD Attack Rules, do not cover In-Character shootouts with criminals or crime related incidents)


You may not take assassination contracts or "hits" from other players unless you are an Official Faction Member and recieve authorization from both the leader of your Official Faction, and a Senior/Lead admin. And the Admin is notified of the "Hit" Prior or before the "Hit" is executed by The Official Faction Leader who is authorizing the hit. The Faction Member MUST HAVE A SERIOUS ROLEPLAY REASON to carry out a "hit" on a player..And must present that reason to the admin when contacting the admin prior to the roleplay. Money must not be a major factor in your decision to put a hit on someone. (This means Un-Official Factions MAY NOT initiate hits or assasinations)


Punishment : If you are caught death matching by an admin you will be BANNED FOR ONE WEEK from the Game Server. Repeat offenses will result in a PERMANENT BAN.




4. Metagaming.


Meta-gaming is defined as using out of character information for in character purposes. Your character must discover and learn all information via in character sources.

This includes the Private Message Function. (/pm), Any Voice Over-IP programs such as Teamspeak or Skype and any other form of Out of Character Communications.

Examples:

-Seeing a players Gamer-Tag over their head and using their name In-Character without first obtaining their name from them in-game via meeting them personally.

-A player disclosing his Location In-Game or on VOIP programs to someone Out of Character and them using the information to "Pick-Up" the player in game.

-This Includes /me and /ame commands, If someone is to pull out a weapon or do an action that is not visible by your character in-game and you react to that you are Indeed Metagaming. And will be punished.

-Someone states in Out of Character communication "I am going to kill you when i see you." It is meta-gaming if you then alter your roleplay according to what you just learned in OOC chat.

-This will include LSPD, i do NOT want to see an officer sitting or parked closely to a gang or faction with their windows down just metagaming their In-game chat, you WILL BE PUNISHED AND ADMIN JAILED FOR METAGAME.
Police need to roleplay properly and it is un-realistic for policemen to sit next to a squad/crowd of people listening in on them not knowing whether they are armed or dangerous. Police roleplay must be realistic and you must patrol as if there is a city full of people even if there is only few players on the server.

Punishment: Admin Jail. In cases of extreme meta-game, temporary bans will be given. If a large amount of people from a specific faction are guilty of meta-gaming that faction may face closure and the individuals will still be punished for their actions.






5. Powergaming.



Power gaming covers three different parts of RP; role playing things that are impossible, In-Human, or un-realistic, forcing your role play onto another person without using a "/do Results? - /do Reaction? - /do Am i able?" or somthing similar letting the opposing player respond, or making up Roleplay situations for the benefit of your character without any of the negative consequences. This includes not letting a player have significant time to respond. Keep in mind some players type slow or read slow or even both so please be flexible on the time given for someone to respond. If a player refuses to roleplay or answer your roleplay /report them do NOT kill them this is considered DeathMatch and you will be ADMIN JAILED.

Examples:

-You engage in a fist fight in-character with another player. That player attempts an action upon you via /me and in your response to their actions you decide to go Ninja on them, and claim your character is a badass and knows every martial art known to man. Everyone is created equal in the SAMP world no one person is stronger than the other. Meaning actions and reactions should be fair and not to the advantage to one player or another.

-Roleplaying actions onto someone without giving them a chance to respond. ( /me grabs Ralph by the throat, as he begins to squeeze his neck tightly strangling him to death ) This is not allowed, What if Ralph kicked you right square in the nuts when you grabbed his throat? Always let the opposing player respond to your roleplay.

-Roleplaying that you are storing a weapon or item elsewhere, other than where the script displays it is stored. Meaning you cannot have a weapon on you and claim it is hidden or located somewhere else. Weapons and Items MUST BE STORED IN ONLY SCRIPTED STORAGE AREAS.

-Roleplaying NPC's and using the NPC's to gain knowledge and using that knowledge from the NPC you created to make-up or give yourself an advantage of roleplay in-game. This is not allowed, NPC's are created by players and are not a sufficient form of information


Punishment : AdminJail of 120 minutes. Reapeated Offenses will result in a Temporary Ban from the Game Server.







6. Roleplay Standards.

With the exception of admins and helpers on duty, every player must be "In Character" at all times. There is no 'going OOC' unless an admin has requested it. Do not stop or slow down role play, Do not Stall Roleplay using OOC chat, and do not use certain script functions to replace your role play (/q and such). Attempt to make your role play as realistic as possible while in game. This rule includes, but is not limited to:

-Using /q or force crash to avoid any type of Roleplay.

-Hi-Jacking or stealing an Occupied Car without any roleplay or /me when pulling another player from their vehicle

-Running someone over, Or Car-Ramming them without proper use of /me or /do or a realistic reason to do so.

-Unrealistic vehicle usage such as crashing into walls or flipping your vehicle without Roleplaying the incident, Bunnyhopping on a bicycle or jumping onto buildings or cars with them, doing insane or unrealistic motorcycle jumps during police chases or without correct roleplay reason, or avoiding motor vehicle accident roleplay with simple things like "/do Saved by Seat belt" or unrealistic vehicle repairs while in pursuits with the police.

This means if you get into a crash with another player you must BOTH roleplay the incident realistically meaning you must notify police in-character about the incident as you would in real life.

Same goes for Individual accidents if you hit a wall or pole that stops your vehicle, you must roleplay the incident and injuries as you would in real life.

-Placing unrealistic advertisements (such as "Selling Green Tea!") We know you mean weed we aren't clueless.

-Roleplaying large weapons in bags or objects they would not be able to fit into realistically. (shotgun in a backpack, AK in a suitcase, etc. This includes Large weapons being stored in Motorcycle's and such small vehicles where storage would not be realistic.)

-Roleplaying no fear via a weapon being pointed at you, or not Roleplaying fear of jailtime when interacting with LSPD.

-Killing yourself to avoid role play

-You are allowed to accept death when people are roleplaying with your body unless those players are part of the LSPD or LSFD, but you most roleplay you are dead. Meaning you will forget the incident as if it were a Player-Kill. (PK)

Always continue role playing even if you feel the other party is doing a poor job, and use /report or take screenshots and report them on the forums.


Punishment : Admin Jail, Massive Non-Roleplay will not be tolerated and can result in a Temporary Ban from the game-server.






7. Cheating and Bug-Abusing.


Third party modifications that give your character an unfair advantage are forbidden. to use on this server.

Examples of this include health hacks, armor hacks, aimbot, speed hacks, and any script that exploits the script or gives a player advantages.

-Using skin mods that Are not realistic. (such as installing skins that are very small to avoid being hit easily during shootouts) is an exploit and also forbidden.

-Abusing server bugs for personal gain is, again, forbidden. (Healing in brawls, shootouts, etc)

-Cam Hack is allowed for filming and screenshots with admin approval.

-The ELM Cleo is allowed for LSPD and LSFD use only.

-Cleo stream fix is allowed.

-Keybinders are allowed as long as they are not used excessively, players must Roleplay the old-fashioned way as much as possible.

-You are required to report other players who you know are bug abusing, cheating, hacking, or exploiting. They ruin the fun on the server and it is unfair to others, not reporting them will cause you to face punishment as well.

-Always report bugs to the bug report section.


Punishment : Permanent ban from the game server.





8. Abusing GTA Phsyics.


Do not abuse in-game physics or SAMP glitches in order to give yourself an un-fair advantage. This most commonly applies to bunny hopping (repeatedly jumping on foot to go faster), C-Bugging (crouching and un-crouching while shooting to disable the wait timer), G-bugging into a vehicle that is locked, hiding in unmapped or non-solis areas within the game world, Healing During Brawl or Shootouts, Tapping the W or Up Arrow Keys while on motorcycles to go faster, abusing house items, car parking, vehicle surfing, Riding more than two players on a Bicycle, and using the Knife Kill action.

Players must ride no more than two persons on a bicycle, and must use sufficient roleplay of using the bicycles Wheel Pegs, or sitting on handlebars.

Players must ride in vehicles in areas that are only enterable script-wise. This means if a vehicle has two seats, two persons must ride in the car only, same goes for four door vehicles, if you cannot enter the vehicle using "f" or "g" then you cant ride in that vehicle by roleplaying backseat or middle seat and just carsurf, take two cars instead or find another solution.

Punishment : Usually a warning and a possible Administrator Slap. If your physics abuse results in the death or loss of items of another player, you will be admin jailed.



9. Roleplay Basics when using /Do, /Me, or /Ame commands.



Roleplay revolves and is centralized around the commands of /me, /do, and /ame.


-/me is used to explain your in-game actions of your character, such as..

"/me slaps his knee as he laughs."

-/do is used to describe a scene of role play, Such as..

"/do The water would trickle down the side of the vehicle, splashing onto the ground."

-/do is also used to describe your characters part in a certain roleplay scenario, such as..

"/do Jacob would be sitting in the corner counting a small stack of cash"

-/ame only makes the text appear above your character's head, and is typically used for minor instances of role play such as clothing descriptions or minor character actions such as coughing or sneezing, like..

"/me coughs into his hands."

-Never use /ame to describe actions against another player.

The reason for this is that /ame disappears after a moment or two and is hard to see sometimes as it does not show up in the global chat.


-You must provide a /me, /ame, or /do for every action your character commits In-Character. Meaning you MUST ROLEPLAY EVERYTHING.

-You are NOT ALLOWED to use more than 2 actions in a /me a, compiling more actions is un-fair to others and is borderline powergaming. This is NOT ALLOWED.

-/do Is never to be used to Argue with another player. Never use /do for things like "/do I was too far away lol, you couldn't hit me". If you need clarification on something that happened in an RP situation, attempt to contact the other party via /pm command or Private Messaging. Using internet shortcuts in /me, /do, or /ame is NOT ALLOWED.


-You are NOT REQUIRED to use /me or /ame to unholster handguns! But it is highly encouraged that you do so. A /me or /ame is still required for heavier weapons and this rule only applies to handguns ONLY.



Punishment : for misuse of these commands often violates multiple rules, which typically results in admin jail or Temporary ban from the Game Server.







10. Admin Interaction.




-Admins are senior members of the community that have been appointed by management to help enforce the rules and resolve issues that may occur in-game.

-You may private message an admin to discuss a situation UNLESS THAT ADMIN IS ON ADMIN DUTY.

-Do not use /report or /helpme as a medium to talk to an admin or staff member. You WILL recieve a kick from the game server and a warning point, three violations of this rule will result in a temporary ban from the game server.

-If you are in need of admin assistance you can use /report.

-You are not allowed to ignore or lie to an admin id they ask you questions. You must always follow an Admins instructions and you must always reply to them when they are speaking to you.

-All admin instructions are final whether or not they are stated in the rules. They can void role play, ask for a repeat roleplay of the situation, and instruct players to leave an area.

-You must never tell an admin what to do or how to do their job, if you argue with an admin over a situation or decision made by them you will indefinatly be punished. (Often a temporary ban)

-If you feel an admin has abused their position, please provide proof of the abuse and report them in the "Staff Complaints" section of the forums. If a administrator has broken a rule simply use /report or report them at the normal complaint forum like any other player.

Not listening to admin instructions can result in multiple punishments, such as being admin jailed or temporarily banned.




11.Green Zones.


Green Zones is the term used for very public areas of Los Santos where criminal activity would not occur without civilian or police interference. These are areas where law enforcement would patrol frequently in real life, and commiting crimes there would be immediately halted. Alternatly these are also areas where new players can come to learn the server and get started with interaction and roleplay. Do not engage in violent role play such as robberies, murder, fist fights, rape, scams, threats, and general harassment at any time while playing in or around the following areas -

- Perishing Square. (including City Hall & The LSPD)

- The Spawn Area.

- All Saints General Hospital.

- On scripted Job Areas.

- Idlewood Gas Station.

- Ammunations.

- Dealership(s)

- The Bank

- Any Interior related to these areas.


-Night-time criminal activity is allowed in these locations. Night time is between 21:00 to 6:00 In-Character time.


In the case that violent roleplay begins in an area close to a green zone and leads to one of the green zoned areas, the roleplay is allowed to continue. It becomes an IC matter for IC law enforcement to handle.


These are not OOC safe-zones for people. If you are caught running into a Green Zone to avoid a situation you will be Admin Jailed.


Committing violent acts in these zones results in a Temporary Ban from the Game Server.






12. OOC Transfers and Account sharing.



- You Cannot money farm in any way, shape, or form.

- You may not transfer anything between your characters or accounts without Senior/Lead admin approval.

- You May not share your account with ANYONE.

- You must gain permission from a Senior or Lead Admin to do any of these.

- You cannot Trade anything on the server for Real Life money.





13. Explicit Roleplay and Advertising.


Advertising in any shape or for on the game server, forums, or Teamspeak server is forbidden. Anyone caught doing so will recieve a ban right away and will have to appeal that ban with a very good reason as to why this community should trust them again.

Explicit and Sexual roleplay, such as Sexual Assault, Rape, Consensual In-Character sex, or any form of Sexual inteaction MUST BE APPROVED BY BOTH PARTIES OOCLY. And the roleplay may be halted at any time by either party, in-which the situation will then be voided and both parties may continue their roleplay for the day.


Punishment : Admin Jail of 120 Minutes.






14. Away From Keyboard (AFK-ing)




-Players are allowed to go Away From Keyboard inside for as long as you want.

-You CANNOT go Away From Keyboard during any sort of role play or while an admin is attempting to get your attention.

-You are allowed to Away From Keyboard in Public for Short periods of time, As long as you are not interupting Roleplay scenes.

-Away From Keyboard in public and disturbing role play will result in a kick.

-Away From Keyboard Mid-Roleplay or While Interacting with an admin will result in an ADMIN JAIL.






15. Robbing, Scamming, And Extortion.



- OOC Scamming, robbery, theft, and extortion is forbidden.

- You Are Not Allowed To Lie Out Of Character.

- You CANNOT Rob or Scam a player whom has less than 25 Time in Los Santos (Score on TAB Menu).

- The Robbery Limit is $5,000.

- The Scamming Limit is $10,000.

- You are Only allowed to Rob ONE Person per day, this is keeping it realistic, people do not rob multiple people in one day due to the heat it would from from the first robbery from police and such, usually robbers lay low after a robbery. So you are only allowed to do this once in a 24 hour period. If caught robbing people more than once, you will recieve a hefty ADMIN JAIL.

- You cannot extort or tax player more than $5,000 a week or businesses/factions for more than $10,000 in a single week.

- You are allowed to take action on extorted Businesses owned by individuals or factions. This must be done By Official Factions only and they must provide a valid roleplay reason for making the Attack. In order to Carry out an Extortion attack on a business or faction Headquarters the Leader of the attacking faction must contact an admin prior to initiating the attack and get permission to carry out the attack as the admin will oversee the roleplay and if the roleplay succeeds and is not interrupted the business will be set on fire by the admin. If the roleplay is interupted and a shootout or something else occurs the attack will not be finished. ( Meaning you MUST roleplay jerrycans and such while attacking)




Punishment : Admin Jail and the return of the goods you stole.







15. Weapon Regulations.




If a weapon is viewable it is viewable period.

So if you are caught with a viewable weapon object on you, you cant say it is elsewhere because it is considered viewable on you to every one else.


- Weapons inside objects.
- Weapons inside bags or backpacks need to be detailed and cannot be done by one command only.

So this means you need to write that you are opening object and than you need to roleplay putting the weapon inside or taking it out of the bag. As well as another action of closing the bag back up.


- You must also not do all of those actions in one action as it is considered non-rp as you are doing more than two actions at once.


Punishment : Admin Jail




16. In-Character Jails.

In-Character jails are divided by Los Santos County Jail (LSJ) and San Andreas Prison.(SAP)

-Minor offenses such as misdemeanors will be carried out by being jailed for up to 24 hours in the County Jail.

Any Felony offense commited in Character or major offenses will be carried out by the San Andreas State prison. In order to face prison time you will need to be getting jailed for more than 3 hours this can include if you commit MULTIPLE MISDEMEANORS. If you time adds up in game to over 24 hours you will be visiting the prison instead of the county jail.

- The maximum amount of days you can be sentenced to the State Prison is 10 In Real Life Days.
- A life sentence to San Andreas Prison could include an execution resulting in a Character-Kill (CK).




17.General Non-Roleplay.

General NON-Roleplay consists of things like /q to avoid roleplay, doing urealistic animations in vehicles or on foot, Non roleplay of fear during a weapon scenario, or non-roleplay of fear of police and being incarcerated. Refusing to roleplay, not answering others roleplay actions towards you, ect.

Punishment : Admin Jail up to 120 minutes.





18. Official Faction Requirements & Faction Wars.



Official Requirements :

In order for your faction to become official you must have had your thread up on the faction forums for at least one month.

You must provide Screenshot proof of activity on your thread this shows us that your indeed active in-game and are working on becoming official.

You must have made some sort of impact in-character as a group. Meaning you must be a known faction throughout the server in character.


Any Member of a faction that continuously rulebreaks and recieves admin jails or bans can be removed from the faction without warning by ANY faction admin.




Faction Wars :


In order to start a war with another faction both faction leaders have to agree to the war and must create a thread in the faction wars column on the forums. Both leaders will need to post on the said thread in order for the war to become valid.

1. No Spamming / Double Posting / Off-Topic Posting.

2. No flaming / Insulting / Wars / Racism / Fights / Harassment.

3. No Advertising other servers other websites, Game Servers, or Forums.

4. No threatening the server or its members on this community.

5. No disrespecting the server, the community, the players, or anything else involving the community/server.

6. English only in is allowed throughout our website besides in our non-English forum section.

7. No having animated images (GIF) on your forum profile background.

8. Audio Autoplay BBCode is only allowed for the main thread first post or a persons own user profile visitor message.

9. Shoutbox rules No videos, audio or any other bbcodes, English only, all other forum rules apply.



--- TeamSpeak 3 Rules.

1. No harassing, insulting or trolling TeamSpeak users.

2. Do not advertise ANYTHING through the TeamSpeak server.

3. Do not play soundboards or music, or any other form of audio in any other channels than the music channel and the public audio channel.

4. Do not use the TeamSpeak server for any In-Character communication. Only Official Government Factions Such as Los Santos Police Department and Los Santos Fire Department may do so.

5. You are NOT ALLOWED to Harass, Spam, Or Whisper/Poke Any staff members unless requesting assistance and idling in the admin assistance Channel, failure to comply to this rule will definatly get you banned from the server TeamSpeak.And you will need to Appeal your ban via Forum's to the banning administrator.

--- Some Planned Upcoming Features

Some of this has already begun to be implemented into the gamemode. Capella is working hard to make the script more roleplay friendly and enjoyable, here are some things that are in the works to look forward to in the near future.





1. A County Jail and State Prison Exteriors and Interiors.


Both Jails will have a fully interactive interior and the prison will of course have an interactive prison yard and interior.


The prison is in development still but will come Complete with interactive Basketball courts, A Boxing ring, a weight area, a cafeteria, visitations, And Even executions for life-sentenced characters. All operated by its very own Department Of Corrections.


The county jail will not have a Department of corrections but will still have an interactive interior.



2. Event Stadiums.



I will be setting up a dirtbike track with sanchez's and ATV's as well as a Nascar track with hotring racecars for some events and such as well as some other surprises regarding events.





3. We will be implementing a Knockout system to the gamemode, to make brawls and melee attacks more exciting and motivate players to use the brawl attacks over the shooting attacks. The system will allow a player to be KO'd and upon knockout the players health will refill, giving them the option to either /getup or /accept death after a certain time, if the player is attacked again and their health depletes to 0.00 they will automatically have to accept death.





4. The Job system will go through an entire overhaul with some interactive jobs instead of just driving through checkpoints to gain a little money.


5. Almost all businesses will be buyable except a few that will be owned by the state of San Andreas.



6. I will be adding Official Faction perks, like setting fires to businesses, and being able to place "hit" contracts and creating breakable counter objets and such in interiors, this will aim to improve LCN and Crime Organization roleplay and extortion roleplay.




7. Revamping the vehicle repair system back to the old style of pay and spray or mechanic only. The part replacement system is a bit annoying to have to repair your car with, plus it takes away from the mechanic job roleplay.




8. We will be getting a vacation style island mapped for factions that are not crime based and for individuals to enjoy a vacation style roleplay to take your boats and such to this island which will of course be added to the greenzone rules in order to secure enjoyment by everyone.




9. Adding rentable bikes near the bike trail to the top of chilliad for biking adventures and such roleplay.




10. I will be adding a limit of weapons that are obtainable through official faction warehouses, to control the flow of guns on the server so that noone will have to encouter a weapon or inventory wipe without something seriously going wrong.




11. An admin led and supervised bank robbery system, terms and conditions of this will bet set upon implementing it into the server.



12. Combining Radio Los Santos and San News into one power media faction.

I will be giving refunds to those from Project Reality Roleplay whom have SS proof of the following items.

- If you had a vehicle and have ss proof of it in stats i will be refunding 1 non-sports car/ non-sports motorcycle to whomever has an SS of stats proving they owned a vehicle.

Official Requirements :

In order for your faction to become official you must have had your thread up on the faction forums for at least one month.

You must provide Screenshot proof of activity on your thread this shows us that your indeed active in-game and are working on becoming official.

You must have made some sort of impact in-character as a group. Meaning you must be a known faction throughout the server in character.

You must have at least 5 members to create a faction.

Any Member of a faction that continuously rulebreaks and recieves admin jails or bans can be removed from the faction without warning by ANY faction admin.

In order to start a war with another faction both faction leaders have to agree to the war and must create a thread in the faction wars column on the forums. Both leaders will need to post on the said thread in order for the war to become valid.
