  2. “O Coffee! Thou dost dispel all care, thou are the object of desire to the scholar. This is the beverage of the friends of God” (Mark XV). Coffee is on of the most famous beverage in the world. Many people, including me, start a day with blending coffee. Finland is home to the world’s record coffee drinkers. “The averages Finn drink approximately, 1400 cups per year” () Even coffee is world-famous drink, but not all people know about details of coffee. Do you know the most expensive in the world? According to article, You’re Drinking What?, to sniff out the world’s most expensive coffee beans, go to the jungles of Indonesia and pick through a pile of civet cat dung. The coffee is called kopi Luwak. On April 10, the ritzy Poter Jones store in London started setting the strong chocolaty coffee at $100 a cup. Store spokesperson Carie Barkhuzen tells CNN that civet cats are quite the coffee bean connoisseurs: ‘The cats select the best beans to chew. It’s rather like a natural filtering process’ (1). From now on, I am going to tell everything about coffee.

  5. As coffee growing came to Brazil in the 1700’s, Brazil has on of the oldest coffee tradition in the world. Currently they are leading the production of coffee around the world. Brazilians harvest their coffee produce in the months between March and October. The coffee may be harvested by manual or mechanical means. Weather conditions may influence the harvesting of coffee as the harvesters may also choose to use dry or wet methods in order to process their coffee (Klnygraard 1). Different types of Columbian coffee are available and they are usually very rich in flavor. They are famous by thickness and having a slight acid content. They also have wonderful smells too (Klnygraard 1). Mexico usually has simpler kinds of coffee. They are mostly used as bases for blending (Klnygraard 1). Ethiopia has some of the best coffee brands in the world over. People usually see Ethiopian coffee as on of the most unique and intriguing types of coffee brands in the whole world. These coffees taste some what fruity and have very powerful aromas and thickness as well (Klnygraard 2).
  6. There are many different types of coffee brand all over the world. Nescafe introduced in 1938, has been soled all over the world since then. During World War II, Nescafe was only for solders. However it was supplanted by Taster’s choice instant coffee for years. Folgers became the most popular coffee brand in U.S. with the TV commercial. It made a new record of advertising coffee. Maxwell House, from Kraft foods, follows close behind Folgers for brand recognition. The company has been using the slogan since 1917, when, according to an apocryphal story, Teddy Roosevelt declared that the cup of Maxwell House coffee he had just finished was “good to the last drop”. Jacobs in nearly unknown in the U.S. but in Europe it is one of the most famous brands of coffee (The World’s Most Recognizable Coffee Brands 1).
  7. Sometimes, ordering coffee in coffee shops makes people nervous, because some people don’t know the name of each coffee. Here is some important information that you have to know, According to the article “How to Understand Different Types of Coffee Drink”, espresso is very strong. Many people order regular coffee with a shot of espresso added, to strengthen the coffee. Caffea latte is espresso with streamed milk forming a small topping of foam. It has less foam than a Cappuccino. If you want on espresso, latte style, but steamed “half & half” or cream, the actual name is Brewe. Cappuccino is a cup of 1/3 espresso 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 foam. Caffea Mocha is a latte or cappuccino with chocolate syrup or hot cocoa. This varies from each store and area (1).
  8. On these days, coffee is not only popular beverage, but also part of culture. Even the economy is bad, people still drink coffee.
