Moose is a menace

AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -Steph laid on the couch in the living room with her notebook open next to her working on the collab song for Liz. Jessie, an old brindle pit mix was lying on the other end of the couch overall being a very good gentle dog. We like Jessie. Penny was knocked the fuck out on the floor at the foot of the chaise lounger while the discount sounds of Nugget grunts could be heard from the bedroom. She laid on her side, lifting her eyes when Moose came trotting over and dropped a rubber ball on the floor, beginning to bark and get in his playful stance. Leaning off the side of the couch slightly, she picked up the ball, giving it a little toss to send the dog tearing to the other side of the house after it.-
Covet: Felix came from out of the office and walked into the living room, nearly being ran over by Moose. "Woah, Moose. It's just a ball dude." Felix said then walked over to where Steph was at and looked at all the other sleeping/relaxing dogs, or heard them, "How is it he's the only one with that much energy still?" He asked sitting down on the couch.
Alexithymiaa: "I have no idea, but he's annoying me. Did you see the tv remote?" She asked with a huff, watching Moose bound back over with the slobbery ball in his mouth. He dropped it onto the floor in front of them, barking again. She rolled her eyes, leaning over to grab the ball to toss again. "I'm trying to get at least some workk done."-
Covet: "I did, yeah." He said with a slight sigh, then looked at her, "Just hand me the ball next time and you can focus on work." He told her as he got up to open up one of the patio doors to the backyard, since it was cool enough outside lately because of stormyish weather. He called Moose over to bring him the ball instead of Steph on his way back this time.
Alexithymiaa: -The second he opened the patio door, Penny snapped up to her feet, breaking into a trot and darting out the doors. Steph shook her head with a small laugh. "Not at all surprised." She glanced back down at her notebook, picking up her pen and changing a few words to fit better. "I don't think I told you about this one... about what Liz's agent sent over for the collab I'm working on."-
Covet: "No, I don't think so, but I'm here now for you to show me." He said with a smile as he sat back down on the couch then threw the ball out the door for Moose, because if he was going to run, He was really going to run. "Is it difficult at all?

Alexithymiaa: "Well it's Liz, so of course, but..." She trailed off, pursing her lips. "It's probably more emotionally difficult. She's collaborating with Aubrey... which of course I haven't told Bryan because he would lose his shit." She watched Moose came teaaring back into the house with the ball in his mouth, dropping it at Felix's feet.-
Covet: "You guys aren't collaborating on the same thing are you?" Felix asked raising an eyebrow, because ew, Aubrey. When Moose came back in and dropped the ball, Felix picked it back up and tossed it. This was good for his ADHD it kept him doing something and he wasn't just idle and bored.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah. The song is a collab between Liz and Aubrey. I'm writing a song for both of them. Which makes me feel like I'm betraying my brother, but this is huge. I just need to figure out a way to make it edgy." She watched as he threw the ball for Moose again, shaking her head. "Where were you six hours ago when he was being a menace?"-
Covet: "I know that it's more personal for Bryan than it is you, but it's not really betraying him. This is business, he of all people should understand that. And think about it this way, they are paying you, to do them a favor, which means, they needed you, and that makes you better than them, because obviously they couldn't do this on their own, or they would have." Felix said with a shrug, then looked out the door to see Moose come barreling back towards the house again, "I was at work. Sorry."
Alexithymiaa: "I know that. I just don't know if he'll see it that way. I'm kind of avoiding telling him who I'm working for. I'm trying to aim for something a little bit more digital with it. Like I can already hear it in my head, I just need to get together with Bradley and learn how to manipulate the music that way. I think it would be cool to make something sort of electronic. I've never done it before." She watched as Moose dropped the ball at Felix's feet, barking at him to throw it again. Except that he was getting impatient and started jumping around and barking wildly before leaning in and grabbing Felix's shorts in his teeth, tugging hard and throwing his head back and forth like he was playing tug of war.-
Covet: "What about that other kid.. the one I used to live with... Adam? He had a bunch of DJ equipment, so I'm sure he's good at that." Felix said then called out, "HEY!.. No.. My shorts.. Bad dog." He said in a loud commanding voice, as he pulled his shorts quickly out of Moose's mouth. It yanked his head a bit, but he got his shorts out, though now there was a drool spot on them. " You keep that up and there will be no more ball play and you can hang out, outside until bedtime, you asshole." He said, grabbing the ball and hucking it out the door.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, Adam worked on Wasteland for us, but I'm not really as close with Adam so I feel sort of like an asshole asking him for a favor. Mostly because I know he's too nice to say no even if he doesnt really want to do it." She frowned as Moose tugged on Felix's shorts, waving her hand. "See! He's the worst. And I can't help, but think that if Bryan had trained him at all when he adopted him that he wouldn't be this bad." Moose took off after the ball, disappearing outside.-
Covet: "Ah, makes sense. And at least with Brad, you can yell at him for messing things up if he doesn't do it like you hear it in your head." Felix said then huffed at the dog, "Probably right there. Why not get Nick like a gift certificate to take him to the dog training classes at Petsmart?"
Alexithymiaa: "Exactly. And I know if Brad is too busy to teach me, he'll actually tell me he's too busy instead of making himself crazy when I have all the time in the world. Adams just too... nice. I dont know how to conduct myself around him. I don't know whether to pat him on the head or encourage him to grow some balls." She said with a roll of her eyes, listening the barking sounds outside and then watching Penny go tearing into the house away from Moose. No one likes you, Moose. "I could do that... I just don't know if anything will stick at this point. He's like four or five years old already."-
Covet: "Both. He could probably use both." Felix said with a chuckle. "I get what you mean though. It's not a bad thing that he's nice, it's refreshing with all us assholes in the world, but at the same time, that's how people get walked over." He added. "I will pitch in for half. At the very least, getting those dog training classes will get him out of everyone else's hair for a bit. I bet he'd do great hiking, or being with someone who is very active on a regular basis."
Alexithymiaa: "Eh... I don't know how to do nice. I feel guilty making sarcastic comments around him, which is awful because sarcastic comments come out of my mouth before I even realize what I'm saying. I much prefer us assholes." She said with a laugh, shooting him a look. She watched as Moose came running back into the house and over to them, dropping the ball on the floor next to the couch and beginning to bark anxiously. "It's not about the money. I just feel bad for the trainers who will inevitably fail with him. It's defeating when you fail at your job." Moose continued to bark despite being ignored, leaning forward again and grabbing hold of the sleeve of Steph's sweatshirt and yanking hard, pulling her half off the couch until the fabric tore. She flailed her arm about when he bit her sleeve, putting her free hand out and down onto the floor when her body was pulled off the couch, stopping herself from actually falling any further. "Moose!!"-
Covet: "I'd feel bad for them to a point, but at the same time, they know what they are doing, they have to be certified to do it, so I'm sure they have a variety of ways to help get him to behave at least semi properly. No! Bad Dog!" Felix said, thwapping him on the nose, not hard, but enough to startle him. Once he let go of Steph, he grabbed him by the coller and drug him outside, closing the door behind him. He turned around to look at Steph, "Are you okay?"
Alexithymiaa: -She pouted, pushing herself back upright on the couch and looking down at the torn holes in her sleeve. "No... I love this sweatshirt. He ripped it..." She frowned as she stared at it, rubbing her fingers over the holes where her skin was poking through. "Do you think it can be fixed?" She asked, holding her arm out in his direction. Literally only cares about her favorite sweatshirt.-
Covet: "Hmm, the holes aren't too bad, maybe? If not.. we could find you a cute patch to put over them. Elevate your fave sweatshirt?" He said as he looked over the holes. "Do you think I can punch Bryan next time I see him for being a lazy fucking dog owner? I know that my pup isn't the most active, but at least he's well behaved."
Alexithymiaa: "I guess a patch might be okay..." She trailed off, still frowning. "I think it's pretty obvious why Bryan gave him up after his accident. He really is a handful, and Nick hasnt done a whole lot to control that. And don't you dare say anything bad about Nugget. He's the best. And I know Penny is kind of hyper and easily exciteable, but at least she knows what's okay and what isn't okay. And she knows when to cut the shit. Actually, she reminds me of you."-
Covet: "We'll fix it, don't worry." He said leaning over to give her a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah, definitely. WAIT! Excuse you I am not a cocker spaniel. If anything I'm a way better behaved version of that monster out there." He said pointing towards the door.
Alexithymiaa: -She broke into a laugh, leaning over into him and moving her hand to give his leg a playful squeeze. "I love you. I do. I think you're incredible and smart and funny. But you are the farthest thing from a boxer. You're like a corgi. Or.... a beagle."-
Covet: "I'll take a beagle, only because I have long legs and my ass doesn't float in the water." Felix said with a slight glare at her, because he's definitely not a corgi.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "A yappy... hyperactive, howling beagle." She told him with a smile, giving him a nudge. "And I'm totally like... a rottie or a doberman. Yeah." She said with a nod, narrowing her eyes as she tried to think of 'metal' dog breeds.-
Covet: "Miniature Doberman maybe." Felix said with a snicker. "One of those with the spiked collar and the leather vest, but is only like, this big." He teased her as he held her hands up to mimick petting a tiny dog.
Alexithymiaa: -She gave him a harsh shove in the shoulder, frowning. "You know, when I did gymnastics being short was a good thing! Now being short just means I can't reach things. There's literally no upside. I wish I were as tall as Kelsey. I bet she doesn't have shelves she can't reach."-
Covet: Felix snickered as he was shoved. "That's what you got a moderately tall boyfriend for, and if I can't reach it, then you just climb on me beacuse you're short and light." He said with a grin. "That's team work right there."
Alexithymiaa: "Is that what we're going to call you? Moderately tall? Describe Felix in one sentence. He's moderately tall." She started to crack up, amused with herself, but also tired and a little loopy. She ran her fingers over the sleeve of her ripped arm again, pursing her lips. "That's not going to work forever. I may never get taller since apparently after like sixteen women stop growing, but I'm going to get heavier. And what if I'm too heavy to climb on you? Then who's going to reach our top shelves?"-
Covet: "God dammit, stop talking like that about my girlfriend like that, woman. I HIGHLY doubt you will ever get that heavy. I've seen your parents and neither of them are ridiculously obese or anything." She said giving her a dirty look. "At least you have the option of climbing on me, not everyone short person gets their own moderately tall Felix to help reach the tall shelves.

Alexithymiaa: "Are you kidding? Could you see my mother, superficial queen, ever being overweight? Because I can't. And my dad is too busy doing stuff. He could never live the kind of sedentary life that aids in weight gain." She couldnt help but glare at her crutches leaning against the corner of the couch before returning to the moment. She reached for his hand, lacing her fingers with his. "Correction, no other short person gets their own moderately tall Felix. I'm the only one." She leaned in, kissing his cheek.-
Covet: "Exactly my point. You're still their child, and you won't let yourself get that way either. I'd like you healthy. Period. You know this." Felix said not wanting to talk on the subject anymore, because they have had this conversation too much lately. "Yes, you are. Everyone else can have a moderately tall Seb?" He said with a grin, then went to stand up. " We can just leave him out there tonight right? It's not cold, there's plenty of toys for him to play with and most everything is metal, which means he can't chew it up."
Alexithymiaa: "Ehh... I don't know, maybe I'll have a moderately tall Felix AND a moderately tall Seb. You guys can coordinate your schedules so that one of you can't be around, the other will be. I'll never be without." She said with a cheeky grin because she loved pushing his buttons about his brother. "Besides, it would be nice having the nice twin around too. Balance is key here." She reached over for her crutches, pulling herself upright and positioning them underneath her. "I mean... I guess one night is okay. You don't think he'll fall into the water, do you?' She asked, turning to look out the window at Moose who was still darting around the yard.-
Covet: "Yeah.. Balance.. there's two of us, Three would just be too much. No Seb. Just me." He told her glaring at her, then looked out the window, The pool edge isn't that tal, and the creek doesn't go that fast, and if he falls in the pond, he can just walk back out again. I'm sure he'll be fine." Felix said with a wave, "All else fails when I wake up to take a piss int he middle of the night I can let him in. Maybe he will be wound down by then." He said rather hopefully. "But you don't need to worry about that, you should be getting to bed." He said pointing to the bedroom.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh yeah? Three would just be too much? I'm going to need that in writing so I can hold it over your head for the rest of your life just in the off chance you get a very stupid idea." She started to laugh, pushing her hair from her face and beginning to swing forward on her crutches in the direction of the bedroom. "You know you wouldnt need to pee in the middle of the night if you didnt drink so much before bed, but when you get up, just put him in the guest room or something so at least his crazy is contained to one room."-
Covet: "Yeah yeah, you do whatever you need to." He told her then yawned, "Well excuse me for staying hydrated. That's not exactly a bad thing, you know." He said then nodded with another yawn, talking through it. "Okay I can do that."
Alexithymiaa: "I am plenty hydrated!" She retorted. "Doesn't mean I wake up to pee at three in the morning." She made her way into the bedroom to get ready for bed which she was getting far better at moving around since she'd been doing well with therapy and practicing and shit.-
