ADSIGNATOS LIBERANDUM

If you are reading this, I’ve been kidnapped. Rest assured, I’m sure the very existence of this message will convince my captors to release me from wherever I am. After all, I am sending this while I’m captivity. I don’t plan to tell them what else I can do whilst under their noses, so they’ll just have to sit back and find out.

However, if they don’t free me, I entrust the good people on PHO to find me and free me. I want everyone to spread the word and personally fund the search party for me. In return I promise to do three things. The first is a promise to dedicate my time to make a significant impact on the outtake procedures of the Madison Quarantine Zone. Secondly, I won’t release the copious amount of blackmail and private information I have on everyone. Watchdog, the PRT, even the Elite. Thirdly, if I am rescued then I can promise you that the nation will avoid a tragedy on a grand scale. I’m a tinker, I’ve had access to other tinkers. The potential chaos will be catastrophic for everyone. I’m making this more then just a problem for America, I’m making this an issue that reaches around to effect everyone on the planet. You can’t hide behind a wall of selfishness, nor can you throw labels like villain and hero around and use that as a justification to hide away. Those labels aren’t accurate enough to describe me.

Of course, if I’m found before August 9th then all consequences will be averted. Now, will you condemn your country to a terrible fate, or will you join the manhunt that’s looking for me.

Who exactly is Cranial, though? His wiki entry is empty. Surely his threats are just a bluff. After all, if he sent that message then clearly he should be able to escape.

This can’t keep happening, I keep getting blindsided. First the Brockton incident, now this. I checked with a few people, and let me just say, Cranial might as well not exist. There’s almost nothing on her, just a list of adjectives. I did manage to dig up a few facts on the internet though.
- Cranial is the leader of a tinker black market.
- She is a tinker herself.
- She specializes in neurology.
- She’s restored memories to Case-53’s
- Worryingly enough, the title translates to, ‘For the Greater Good’

@Bismarck Please refrain from making ambiguous threats towards individuals of ambiguous mortality.
@Optimal Take a few minutes away from the computer to relax.
The PRT is still investigating this. An official statement will be sent out later. For now, we will choose to believe Cranial is both alive and not bluffing. Do not try to make any rescue attempts, the PRT has it all under control.

The PRT will be investigating the validity of The_Best_Doctor’s claim.

Further investigation has shown that Cranial’s body has not been discovered at the crime scene. There is a potential that she is alive. Watchdog currently cannot rule one way or another on the matter, so we are working on the assumption that she is alive as a precaution. The Slaughterhouse Nine are responsible for the crime.

I’d make a comment about them not being able to destroy the whole world, but they could easily wipe out a sizeable part of it.
In other news, is the PRT actually going to do anything? Because I know a few people are trying to independently fund ventures to find Cranial.

@Informed_Informer I’m curious why I haven’t seen news about the hunt for Cranial yet

Speaking of ventures, I am offering to start one for whoever is interested in joining the search. It would be terrible if we could have prevented this but we had failed. The more the merrier.

It’s not that we(the PRT) aren’t willing or able to retrieve Cranial, it’s that we have to find where she is in the first place. Some of the technology she is in possession of makes her hard to track down and retrieve. We need tinkertech to efficiently hunt her.

Hello everyone. I’m sure you have all seen the recent chaos caused by Cranial’s/@The_Best_Doctor ‘s post. The PRT are trying their best, but I think we should help them however they can. The only real way to do that is to put people on the ground who are actively searching about. This thread is so that we can all work in an organized way for maximum productivity. Serious replies only. No exceptions.

I think I can handle the whole travel issue. I’m not exactly rich, but I think I could ferry people around the country if I had too.

Let’s see, so Canaveral is the one responsible for transportation, which leaves the rest of us as either belonging to the financial side or to the information gathering side. Without either of those, this whole thing will be a waste of time. Canaveral is already pulling double duty and gathering what he knows about Cranial. We need participation if this is going to work.

I have us covered on the information front. I’m not exactly skilled with hard facts, sorry @Canaveral but I have, let’s call them hunches. I have a general sense for what to do and how to do it you could say.  Plus I have a sister in Watchdog, so I can help coordinate there if need be. :) :) !!

I might not be the best at information gathering and I’m kind of broke, but I’d like to join this hunt @Meowiarity I’ll fill in wherever I will be the most useful. Cranial changed my life once, if she’s still alive, this is my way of repaying her. Seriously, she’s practically my savior.

@WisCheese It doesn’t matter what you can or can’t bring to the table. You are sacrificing your time for this search party, and that’s a very valuable thing to spend. Plus you have a lot of dedication it seems. That’s going to go a long way, because all of this is volunteer oriented. None of us are being paid for this.
@Opti Great! I’m not expecting anyone trained or even well connected, so your existence is a blessing for us. Watchdog connections are incredibly useful, but don’t do anything that could get your sister fired, okay? You’ll be a great help.

@HatMadder Please don’t antagonize people. I’d rather not have that type of person in this search party. It destroys the element of cohesion and cooperation that I’m tying to have us project. Randomly popping in exclusively for an insult is not productive.
@XxVoid_CowboyxX There is always room for another person in the search party. From what I gather, you have something of a bad reputation on this site, but I’m willing to give you a chance, Void. Please try not to say anything too controversial or out there.
Alright, now all that’s left is the monetary aspect. I’m doubtful I’ll get much out of anyone, but I’ll put some money down on this project myself. Anyone else willing to donate? Don’t be stingy guys, the nation’s in danger if Cranial’s threats are true.
