This little alicorn colt is a mere thing at the tender age of three. His coat is an onyx black that shines and glitters like a Crystal Pony and eyes a souless, pupil-less crimson, yet his mane and tail glimmer with every color of the rainbow. Another odd, striking thing about him is his horn, which is curved rather than straight. For one who radiates negativity and destructive power, Arcane Spectrum only wants to be good, and to find his place in the world. His magical aura is very prismatic, but contorts to violet and green, often matching his eyes beyond the crimson. He has no memory of where he's from or who he is. While he can have a bad temper, Arcane Spectrum tends to actually be very softspoken and shy, as it takes a lot to make him angry.
Abilities: Destructive Magic, Teleportation, Rainbow Lightning
Weakness: Usually when he tries to do good with his magic, bad happens instead. He also has a bad temper when riled enough, gives off an evil aura, and has a nasally sounding voice. He also seems to hurt or be allergic from healing/love magic.
Cutie Mark: A rainbow star-swirl with colored flames branching from it, making the design look like a chaotic sun.

Background

Not much is known about little Arcane Spectrum. The colt was found deep within a mine at The Crystal Empire, encased within an onyx heart. He seemed to be sleeping or in stasis, and a golden medallion hung about his neck, engraved with "Arcane Spectrum" in fanciful calligraphy. The ponies pulled the heart out from the rock and went for help. When the authorities were alerted, they arrived to only find bits of onyx shattered about. There's no real telling how long the little colt had been trapped, or why.. Or how he became freed.. Yet the onyx shell can date back to the ancient times of King Sombra's reign. He wandered, and began randomly teleporting as his powers depleted and acted in desperation. The last stop? Ponyville... He flashed from the sky, where a bolt of odd rainbow lightning scorched the earth.

There, he collapsed in an exhausted heap in the middle of the street, wings draped over him awkwardly and golden name medallion hanging from his neck.

OOC NOTE: I set the stage and created the character. You've seen how I play and don't go Over Powered. Arcane Spectrum has a LOT of story potential, so I'm giving you OPs the reigns. You guys can decide his backstory and his fate, where he comes from and why, and if anyone, who he's related to, or who he's not related to, if he's royalty or if he's a creation. Whatever you decide, I'm game for. I like playing out the story. A story that I don't even know, that ties into the world you guys have created, is even better. I plan to play him as a mysterious orphan, focusing on what happens ahead rather than his backstory.
