# Experience is not always what I'd like

I wish I could separate my mind. I needed to be focused on the task at hand and I just couldn't do it. My mind was elsewhere in California with my father.
I'm not sure I learned anything I can count on in the future, but I did the best I could with the attention that I was able to give... which wasn't much.
My father would not be pleased I am thinking so much of him and not doing well in my studies, but I cannot help it. I hope my 75% was enough. It's a solemn evening
here, and I can only look forward to project week. Just one more week and I get to fly home. Get to see him in the hospital. Get to, hopefully, focus back on what I should be focused on.
Finishing this program while learning as much as I can. It's been a rough weekend, and I wouldn't chalk it up to experience.

## One more week

I hope that I can do well enough to pass. Never been worried about school before.
