old man claimed the Cartridge used to belong to a kid about Jad's age [20] so could be anywhere from say 16 to 23?
But, was this Ben? "Kid" does not imply gender, though we all assume the kid was male because of the file name.
The neighbor said Ben was "young boy," implying more likely a child, not a teenager.

The cult is not a group of members who are responsible for Ben's death and are thus being targeted.
They are the souls of the people who were killed by BEN before, released with him onto the internet.
They are interacting the way they have because they are unaware/unable to show us this otherwise.

BEN is going after the Giants, or the Mods of YSHDT.net, and his first target was Ifrit.
Since Ifrit is one of the mods, or Giants, and he's dead, we've lost. We need to giants to stop...
BEN, I guess, and now BEN killed him. Ifrit didn't come back when we shifted three days because BEN is
one of those spiritual oddities in MM who remembered everything even though you just rewound time,
like Tatl. Just in a more physical way, rather than mental. BEN was probably able to kill Ifrit because of OoT.

Another theory I had was that the Mods on that site are the four children who were taken over by the
Boss Masks in the Moon, and BEN is the Majora child. Majora was pretty pissed at the other children for not
playing with him, so he... manipulates the other kids. [if you notice in the Majora's Mask fight, Majora's Mask
manipulates the other Masks, symbolizing the children] BEN was drowned by the Mods of the site seven years ago,
and he was able to keep his presence in the game by the Old Man or someone else. Now that he's released,
he can come back to the real world and kill everyone who did him wrong. Plus he can manipulate their site,
but only does certain links so he isn't caught by the Mods.

So what if the ascension doesnt kill people off, but eventually...
turns them into Blemmyes? The picture we saw of Kelbris was AFTER his ascension?
And seeing as everyone connected the Blemmyes with Kelbris,
it would make sense for Ryu to think Kelbris is after him, when in fact, it would be Chris...
Just a crazy thought, but seeing as nothing is as it seems to be...
