- I. Kids Next Door
- Longstanding champions Kids Next Door return seeking their third title in a row. Although Dimento's reign of terror is looking to continue, the Kids Next Door roster has experienced 4 valuable roster changes. The entire flank from previous Kids Next Door roster's has been replaced from b4nny -> corsa on scout, and previously habib on soldier to speedy. In addition to the powerful froyo flank leaving, the 3rd and final froyo member of Kids Next Door, Nursey, has parted in place of the likings of Skye. The last roster change takes the form of oblivion, after a 3 season streak with Kids Next Door, being replaced by S25 Kids Next Door Pyro Billysaurus. All of the changes culminate in a potentially shaky start to the team's 15th season in 9vs9, making the team a shaky first seed to start, but a potentially unbeatable team once the coordination is refined.
- II. Fast Forward
- 1/3 of the roster Rewind returns in the form of the opposite name, Fast Forward. With Rewind players pablo, carcin, and rain, coupled with 3rd Place team The Empire from Season 2 players, such as shotaway, Hunter, and tgw, Fast Forward presents a swift return for Season 4 of RGL 9vs9. Long-time players, such as carcin, shotaway, and pablo, have previously demonstrated fast learning and coordination, competing that of even Kids Next Door in regards to aggression. The aggressive playstyles of pablo, tgw, and durr coupled with the outstanding pick class coordination of rain and shotaway should make Fast Forward a team to consistently contest Kids Next Door and comfortably beat Apolodosh after a few weeks of team building.
- III. Apolodosh
- Season 3 Runners-Up Apolodosh return for 5th season in a row since Season 25 of UGC with an unchanged roster with the hopes of finally cracking the grasp that Kids Next Door has held on the title for the past 2 seasons. With new contenders Fast Forward by their side, the minimum goal of 2nd place will not be as easily in their grasp as it was the season prior. With an unchanged roster comes unchanged, and potentially better, coordination. With powerful flank and pickclass members such as dev, shaayy, and Mad, guided by the leadership of RonnieJ, Apolodosh holds a potentially high deathmatch capability to enforce across the rest of the teams. The recent loss to newly-founded Fast Forward puts them slightly behind for the beginning of the season, but with enough rounding-up of loose ends Apolodosh could retake their at minimum 2nd spot and potentially abuse the weakened Kids Next Door roster to take rounds and potentially a win.
- IV. Dunk Masters
- Previous playoff-invite team Invidus retains a portion of their roster in their most recent iteration under the alias of the shared 6vs6 Invite team Dunk Masters. Under control by team coach tacos, Dunk Masters looks to score a playoff spot for the upcoming Season 4 of 9vs9. With slammers Makkabeus, evil, and triiiple, the roster of Dunk Masters boasts minimal bunch warmers if left uncontested. The deathmatch powerhouse of triiiple and lizar with support from the accurate pick classes lenny and evil fuse to create a loud presence on the court. Aggression appears to be the name of the game to Dunk Masters, with their largest weakness being teams who play slow and methodical based off of results. Dunk Masters have the potential to take rounds on teams Apolodosh and Fast Forward if both the 2nd and 3rd seed teams do not properly adjust to the aggression that tacos plans to prevail upon invite.
- V. Second Wind
- Legacy team Second Wind start off the preseason shook and controversial after recent losses to :squirtyay: and Burgers & Homies. Although both of these losses were to relatively new and inexperienced invite teams, the individual potential of Second Wind continues to be far ahead of the competition below them. Star-studded players, such as exile, Daffodil, and Sovereign possess the capability to change the entire tide of matches single-handedly. The most pressing issue with the current Second Wind roster is the coordination, which, as expected with most teams, should increase as the season progresses. Although Second Wind have not had the most dominant start, under the lead of Sovereign and direction of exile, Second Wind concretely cements themselves into a 5th place spot for this Preseason Power Rankings.
