Q: What are you playing on?
A: I'm playing on Virtual Console for the Wii

Q: Why do you keep jumping?
A: The fastest way to get speed in this game is to roll down a hill. Now there isn't always a hill, but luckily this game also thinks so long as you roll before you jump, you are rolling down a hill! (Ok, it doesn't, but you get acceleration just the same)

tl;dr rolling and then jumping makes you go faster

Q: Your timer isn't going! Hang on...what is that timer?
A: Used to be Shitsplit, but now that Livesplit has an in-game timer function I'm using that instead

Q: Why does this game use ingame time and not real time?
A: Because http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaMGf1V3MMM (This is no more strongly presented in any other game, real time in this game is an absolute trainwreck)

Q: What is Best Ending?
A: Best ending refers to getting the better ending in the game. To do this, you must get all the Chaos Emeralds, which are scattered around the levels (no special stages) as you play through. It then gives you access to the real final zone, Crystal Egg, and upon beating that zone you get the Best Ending.

Q: What is the World Record?
A: I don't know, I've done a few very mediocre runs that I don't remember the time of, but no one runs the whole game except me at the moment. So pretty much any run I finish will be the initial record, for now.

Q: So if you don't have a timed run, what are your splits?
A: Those are splits I made, and aren't an actual run. They are pretty much the worst times I'll accept on any level all together, so when I do finish I deathless run I will destroy them (however, as the splits do assume deathless they are better than anything I've completed at the moment)

Q: Are there glitches in this game?
A: Yes, but very few, and none useful for speedrunning.

Q: Is this game good?
A: No, it's fantastic. Highly recommend playing + super chill speedrun
