- At the word, the ninja was blasted back by a torrent of water.
- Leaf looked back to the pond. Standing on the opposite edge was the turtle creature, looking fine but a lot more defensive. Its tail was raised and its arms out wide as it chirped angrily.
- “It’s okay,” Leaf tried to make herself small again. “It’s fine. I’m not going to hurt you.”
- The turtle chirped and cupped its mouth and a stream of water shot from it. Leaf was slammed in the face, knocking her back and filling her sinuses with water. She rolled to the side, coughing and sputtering as much as she could back up.
