  1. [16:08] It's upon their last breath that there's a faint crack in the Chieftain's demeanor. A twinge of the lip, watery eyes, but he had to remain resolute. As the last ounce of blue leaves the deep wound Tototl clambers for his own helm, tanned hands desperately clasping it before it's shoved on. With a shaky hand he'd retrieve the dagger and stow it away before picking her up.
  2.
  3. Rising to his true height dissipates the cyan flame about his form. Flaming orbs gradually return to their usual brown hues, all but hidden underneath the helm. The visor turns towards those gathered - What words could be said from there? It was a time for mourning - A time for passing. That visor hones in on Sugarboy, his voice low. "Meet me in the clinic, please. Let's give Chotion and Adira proper respects for their burials."
  4.
  5. His feet feel heavier than before despite what Mythril adorns his body. A hesitant step is taken towards the west before he trudges on along.
  6. (Tototl)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [16:12] A nod would be given as he slowly walked over, picking up the second deceased Luxata into his arms before making his way to the Clinic. It didn't feel real, it hadn't settled in as if he hadn't just watched it with his own eyes.
  10.
  11. The desire to disconnect lingered, to let go and go through the motions, but he couldn't give in. This was real, he held her body in his arms, the girl he watched grow into a noble warrior. There was a lump in his throat at he walked off.
  12. (Sugarboy)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  26. [16:15] Kha'Jala whispers something.
  27. [16:17] Sugarboy says, "Chotion is in here."
  28. [16:17] Tototl says, "... Where."
  29. [16:17] Sugarboy would say making his way to the back left room.
  30. (Sugarboy)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [16:20] The doctor would set the lady Luxata in the bed beside the one which had a sheet large enough to cover the resting behemoth below it. With a heavy sigh he would begin washing the body with his magic, closing the wound and offering the same treatment that made the fatal wound look like a scar.
  34.
  35. He did not go to the same lengths as Chotion with adding an embalming fluid, they would be put to rest here. "All set, Tototl." He'd say without any banter, any play, the both of them had lost two dear friends in such a short time.
  36. (Sugarboy)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [16:27] Tototl silently followed the doctor into the back, brown hues shifting from Sugarboy to the Atl Chieftain. Dead. Gone. Cruxati's Chieftain shudders as he stands there assessing the two silently.
  40.
  41. Sylvester was right.
  42.
  43. Tears begin rolling down out and under the helm's chin guard. How long had it been since he broke down? How much more would he lose to those that wronged him, to those that believed themselves to hold a better path for the Tribes and Agartha as a whole? It was a whirlwind of thoughts for the aging Gehennan, one that had kept him up for days on end.
  44.
  45. Yet, he was a Chieftain. He had to remain strong - Tears quickly choked back and hidden as a hand covers the tanned neck. With a hard swallow, he speaks shakily. "Cremation. Place them in different u-urns. We're holding a f-festival for them both.-" Ryuujin and Quetzalcoatl was what he wanted to add in, yet it was another rising sob that forced him to choke it back. Shoulders slumped, head shaking wildly back and forth, the stone-neutral visage breaks underneath the helm.
  46. (Tototl)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [16:45] The chieftain had the advantage of having a helmet to cover his face, hide his emotions. Thought they did not go unnoticed by the keen eyed doctor, though he wasn't in much better shape. Shoulders were slumped as his ever present grin was dropped into a heavy frown.
  50.
  51. His cheeks would be wet with tears, he could hold them back with his magic, but what was the point? He was old and tired, sick of all the blood shed, the misunderstandings. So much could be resolved if people would just chill for a second, and talk things out before acting.
  52.
  53. Such thoughts weighed on his mind as his eyes were anchored down over Adira's body. A weak old man, eh? That's all he's ever really been, others said he had strength in another way, but it was never the way that mattered most.
  54.
  55. Ocean blue hues would look over to Tototl, nodding as he understood the request. "I'm on it, Chief.. I'll take care of it if you want to work on your announcement." Though company was always appreciated.
  56. (Sugarboy)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [16:51] It took Tototl a few good moments to actually settle back down into a proper talking state. Tears stained his cheeks and neck, and a hand rapidly whipped away at what few continued to roll underneath the chin guard. There was no merriment to be had, no ale to share with Chotion or information to gain from Adira.
  60.
  61. Two of his closest, gone, now lay before him.
  62.
  63. The Chieftain shakes his head ever so slightly. "I'm... Going to stay and help where I can. While I'm no master fire magi I can at least set off a spark or two." He'd trail off, recalling his first days among Agartha - Days before he had met Sugarboy, Kilarii. Days with Lassic and Duke, both of whom were mere whispers in the wind.
  64.
  65. Tototl steps forth, the visor gradually peering towards the Doctor. "Just point me and tell me what to do. I don't wish to think for some time... And please, no Chief friend. Just... Just Tototl."
  66. (Tototl)
  67. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  68.
  69. [17:00] A small smile, "Alright, Tototl." No ranks, just a reminder of their friendship, everything the two remaining members of the blonde squad had endured together. Here they stood, two of the last Gehennans of their generation, standing between two of the fiercest.
  70.
  71. "You can help me move Chotion to the operating table.. It's made of steel and can withstand the temperatures I'll have to put him through."
  72.
  73. Taking the arms while Tototl got the legs, the 6'10" drakan would be placed over the table, sparks lighting up around his silhouette as if they were candles.
  74.
  75. "Chotion.. I remembered the first time we met, it was one of my first nights here in Gehenna, I don't remember who I was talking to, but you overheard I was a medic and asked me to look at something." A sniffle would force a pause from him as he looked over the giant and ever stoic warrior.
  76.
  77. "You fought a goddamn dragon, and suffered severe burns over your torso.. But I know you remember that because you had the mithril casing I had graphed to replace the skin tattoo'd, and it looks sick nasty fam." He'd force a weeping chuckle, forcing a grin.
  78.
  79. "But you always had my back, you were strong, honorable, a damn good warrior and a better friend. I'm going to miss all of our toke and tea talks, discussing matters in Gehenna, how to fix it.. I'm gonna miss ya buddy.. But I know you did your ancestors proud, and you're partying with them now." A sigh as he bowed his head, ocean blues looking to Tototl if he had any parting words.
  80. (Sugarboy)
  81. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  82.
  83. [17:11] Tototl merely nods, a deep frown plastered under that helm of his. The last two of what would be a force to be reckoned with. A friendship, brotherhood beyond blood he'd argue. Yet... A brother and sister were before him as well. Upon instruction he'd take up Chotion's legs, placing them among the steel table.
  84.
  85. Sugarboy spoke his own piece - Recounting the fights Chotion had pulled through, the injuries that now lay bare upon the table. As ocean blue eyes turned towards Tototl, his breath halts.
  86.
  87. "I've... Not met a moment where Chotion's form terrified me. Drakanites are blessed with such gifts of a dragon, but Chotion? Spirits - You truly were a beast to stand before." That hulking form in their spars would no longer linger. It was in the past, even, that he remembered being swatted away during his first step in Mysticism. His head bows ever so slightly.
  88.
  89. "We stood together, even, against the tides of Obsidia. You treated me like kin after that, and I can't begin to tell you how homesick that makes me. I came to this rock, alone, and yet... I found family among you and others."
  90.
  91. "I'll miss you, brother, and I will claim your blade soon enough. May the Spirits of your ancestors and Agartha herself bless your rest. May you join the many, even, in Joruheim - A place of glory that deserves to hear your tales." A hand twitches underneath his cloak. It was no time to cry, not when it was goodbye. Raising his left hand and head up, he conjures up a small flit of flame.
  92. (Tototl)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [17:21] The blonde would wipe his eyes on his sleeve as Tototl said his farewell, that imposing figure that couldn't help but loom over you wherever Chotion was would forever haunt him.
  96.
  97. The two saying their pieces, the flickering flames would grow around the Drakan, before soon enveloping him entirely. Flames changing in color as they reached a higher intensity, and soon snuffed out. All that would be left of the Chieftain of Atl were his ashes, swept into a ceremonial jar.
  98.
  99. A small huff as the blonde carried the smaller sister and placed her among the metal table. "Adira.. I don't know what to say.. You were always bold and a little reckless, but that was your charm. That's how you lived your life.
  100.
  101. I wish you didn't push things to this, I.." He'd choke up, stopping himself as it turned into a fatherly lecture. But no, it was far, far too late for that.
  102.
  103. "You showed me and my family nothing but kindness, and the true beauty of your crafty soul. You're a gorgeous individual, Adira, a brilliant flame that.. Will leave our square quite dull. I'll miss our little talks, and how we would prod one another, the jokes we'd make with each other back and forth.. I hope you can atleast rest easy now, and your daughter will be well taken care of."
  104.
  105. A promise made and thoughts spoken, the torch is passed to Tototl.
  106. (Sugarboy)
  107. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  108.
  109. [17:30] Chotion now lay in a jar, and once Sugarboy sets it down Tototl steps over towards it. Once more is the ceremonial steel knife withdrawn, still wet with Adira's own blood. Little to no care was held in what would happen between the mixture of it with his as its drawn across his left palm.
  110.
  111. A thumb presses into the wound to coat it with blood, and with that digit he begins to paint a few symbols about the urn. Ceremonial in nature, but the Chieftain couldn't help but add his own touches for Chotion's leave.
  112.
  113. However, there remained one last Luxata. Tears well up behind the helm as he peers back towards the table. The bleeding palm gingerly touches his own throat to coat any sneaking teardrops. "Adira was... Gehenna. Bold and brash, but that was indeed her charm."
  114.
  115. His voice was shaky as that came to a close. Shaking his head back and forth he'd will away the crawling sob, stepping forth to add in. "A Gehennan, truly. You knew where to gather information to protect our people, and in it you risked your honor. The Tribemates... May not understand that, but I truly do. We both saw the value in knowledge, in information. I'm not... Sure if I will find another like you, Adira."
  116.
  117. "Please, rest well with Chotion. Join him in Joruheim or with your ancestors. I'll make sure your things get to your daughter, one way or another." The Chieftain had a child now, after all. Perhaps they'd grow close to one another - Train together. Sullen, shoulders drooped, he prepares his own flame once more.
  118. (Tototl)
  119. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  120.
  121. [17:35] A farewell worded so elegantly, atleast the two got to say their goodbyes, something not many were offered a chance. The conjured pyre would ignite once again and soon her body would smolder to ash, poured into another jar that is then handed to the chieftain.
  122.
  123. "Here ya go.. When do you think you'll give the announcement, and should I be there for it?" he'd ask in a weak tone, his head hanging slightly.
  124. (Sugarboy)
  125. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  126.
  127. [17:39] Tototl lets out a quiet exhale, his voice dry and slow all the same. He lacked the energy to keep going, truthfully, but... There were things to be done. Cruxati's Chieftain takes up both ceremonial jars - first marking Adira's all the same.
  128.
  129. "You needn't be there, I believe the non-magi will spread word far quicker than I. Just... Get some rest, Sugarboy. The Spirits cry for today." It was all he could muster.
  130. (Tototl)
  131. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  132.
  133. [17:40] Sugarboy says, "You too, Tototl. Spend some time with Kilarii and your kid.. We've got work to do."
  134. [17:40] Tototl says, "Lots of it... Spirits protect, Sugarboy."
  135. [17:40] Sugarboy says, "Spirits protect, Tototl."
