Dhampir runaways

Do the midnight aristocracy show off their bloodbags or is more of a private thing? What about dhampirs? Do they all get sent to a special dhampir school when they are old enough or do they just go to the same school as normal vamps?

Dhampirs run away from home and learn from the mean streets of Harlem.

Interesting. How about a twist?
>As she watches the two of you ascend the stairs, the formerly affable expression slides off of her face. With slow measured steps, she stands before a window. With a growl, she pulls back the curtain. The keen nocturnally adapted eyes of the vampire easily see the large pair of wolves sitting across the street. They stare unblinkingly at her, the blazing golden eyes piercing the warm Harlem night.
>"Damn you.", whispers vampire-mom beneath her breath. Though her words can't penetrate the distance or the thick reinforced glass of the window, she's certain that the feeling is mutual.
