  3. 3:10:46 PM <Mishie|Horn> As much as it hurts him to play nice, Horn Lord knows that telling Seachange what he really thinks about him and his gang of scum probably wouldn't end that well. At least not yet.
  4. 3:17:43 PM → Zaits joined ⇐ Olivedoggy quit • Nonagon|UB → Nonagon, soulpelt| → soulpelt|GK, Camtist → Camtist|GM
  5. 3:27:05 PM <Mishie|Horn> For now, he'll have to mask his intentions and try to make the best of this situation by giving this guy what he wants to hear. "To be honest, nobody you would have heard of. Just some dumb kid who wanted to punch in some faces, especially ones that people wouldn't really give a shit about y'know?"

  8. 3:33:14 PM <•Teller|GM> His left hand slips out of the ropes. Freedom...sort of. He begins working his right hand out of the ropes.
  9. 3:33:14 PM <•Teller|GM> "You picked a bad person to punch then, dumb kid," Swole chimes in. "People don't give a shit about you, maybe, but my people love me."
  10. 3:33:14 PM <•Teller|GM> "Quiet," Seachange snaps at Swole. "Enlighten me, then. Name? Hero, Vigilante, Villain? I'm sorry about the ropes, but you can't be too cautious these days."
  11. 3:33:14 PM <•Teller|GM> His thumb chafes against the rope, the coarse material digging into his skin. Then, with one sharp yank, his hand is free, at the cost of what's sure to be a small rope burn later. ||
  12. 3:35:41 PM <•Teller|GM> ((*right hand is free))
  13. 3:38:35 PM → Mazinja joined ([email protected])
  14. 3:40:50 PM <Mishie|Horn> Trying to keep his movements to a minimum to keep things subtle, Horn Lord tries to stall things out as long as possible with as much empty chatter as possible.
  15. 3:44:33 PM <Mishie|Horn> "Well here's the thing right, looking like this there's not all that many names available that weren't either taken or just plain garbage, so the main name that I've been mentally kicking around is Horn Lord because I've basically given up on thinking up a decent name, and well, there's nothing that people can say about my name that's worse than going through the realization that these horns...
  16. 3:44:35 PM <Mishie|Horn> ...are /everywhere/"
  17. 3:45:42 PM <Mishie|Horn> Horn Lord pauses for a moment to let that sink in, whilst also taking the time to fully concentrate on getting his trapped hand free.
  18. 3:46:02 PM <•Teller|GM> ((His hands are free.))
  19. 3:46:09 PM <Mishie|Horn> REDACTED
  20. 3:46:28 PM <Mishie|Horn> Horn Lord pauses for a moment to let that sink in, whilst also taking the time to slowly moves his hands down south to work on loosening the other ropes
  21. 3:48:21 PM <Mishie|Horn> "And as for the rest, none of the above really. In all honesty I just saw that there was a fire and the most interesting person to fight just so happened to be Swole. I would have done the exact same thing if it were Oz."
  22. 3:48:22 PM <Mishie|Horn> ||
  23. 4:02:06 PM <•Teller|GM> "You know who's fun to fight?" Swole says grumpily. "Seachange. It's trippy as balls, man. You should try it sometime. Oh, or Coy - she's got that freaky Changer thing going on just like you. You crazy kids would have a blast."
  24. 4:02:06 PM <•Teller|GM> Seachange ignores her. "Interesting. I can see you taking off your ropes, by the way - but don't worry, I don't mind."
  25. 4:02:06 PM <•Teller|GM> "I'm just about finished here, anyway." Michael hears something metal skid across the floor and come to a stop a few feet to his left. "Sorry for interrupting, Horn Lord. I'll leave you to...finish what you started."
  26. 4:02:06 PM <•Teller|GM> He puts a little too much emphasis on the last part of the sentence. All that's missing is a deep, evil laugh. The footsteps begin retreating.
  27. 4:02:06 PM <•Teller|GM> "Man," Swole complains. She tries to sound lighthearted, but there's an edge to her voice "I am so kicking your ass later, Seachange! Right hand to Jesus." ||

  31. 4:12:13 PM <Mishie|Horn> "Yeah I kinda assumed you guys would, no offense but as fun as this looks, it's not really all that comfortable and I've just had this terrible itch that I've been needing to deal with for a while, and it looks like you've given me the perfect thing to scratch it with."
  32. 4:12:17 PM → Lid joined ([email protected])
  33. 4:13:23 PM <Mishie|Horn> Not even bothering to hide it anymore, Horn Lord makes short work of the ropes surrounding him and after freeing himself takes a few moments to go through some quick stretches to get the blood flowing again, that and to check out what the fuck his newest form looks like this time.
  34. 4:14:38 PM <•Teller|GM> ((It would be an Athletics roll to make short work of them. Legs are excessively bound))

  39. 4:18:30 PM <Mishie|Horn> "So as much fun as being cryptic is, as you may have guessed I'm not really one for being subtle so let me just get this all straight here. I'm just going to assume that the plan here is that I take whatever the fuck you threw over there, ram it through Swole's eye and then we resume our chat now that you have the leverage of me killing her on camera?"
  40. 4:18:32 PM <Mishie|Horn> ||

  44. 4:29:01 PM <•Teller|GM> The triangle of light returns, but the footsteps stop. "You're...straightforward, aren't you?"
  45. 4:29:01 PM <•Teller|GM> His arm horntennae, now freed from beneath the ropes, tear eagerly into the ropes around his ankles and calves. His limbs are a bit shorter this time, and there's no little bumps on his skin this time. There are horns on his forehead, but small ones, barely larger than bumps. His teeth are large and flat, designed more for crushing than tearing. There's also
  46. 4:29:01 PM <•Teller|GM> a heavy weight in his stomach, as if he had just finished swallowing a barrel's worth of iron.
  47. 4:29:01 PM <•Teller|GM> "I'm not looking for leverage over you, Horn Lord. Our conversation ends here, at least for tonight. If you kill Swole, it will be your decision. I'm simply getting out of your way."
  48. 4:29:01 PM <•Teller|GM> The door closes, and the triangle of light disappears.
  49. 4:29:01 PM <•Teller|GM> "What a fucking buttplug," Swole snarls. ||
  50. 4:38:51 PM ↔ Sria popped in
  51. 4:44:09 PM <Mishie|Horn> ..
  52. 4:48:05 PM <Mishie|Horn> It's tempting to make a joke, to make some stupid quip about what's going to happen. But that would just cheapen the moment and what's about to happen, and even though Swole is nothing more than a parasite leeching away at the people of Sicol Bend, ruining countless lives merely for her own personal gain, she's still a person and should be shown some respect. If only because she wouldn't...
  53. 4:48:07 PM <Mishie|Horn> ...have done the same and he refuses to sink to her level.
  54. 4:49:27 PM ↔ •Telloff (promoted to owner, opped) nipped out
  55. 4:49:58 PM <Mishie|Horn> He can try to dress it up in fancy words, calling it justice and making some grand speech, but instead he silently walks over to the object that Seachange through over and picks it up, turning it over in his hands as he looks at it.
  56. 4:54:51 PM <Mishie|Horn> ||
  57. 5:04:27 PM <•Teller|GM> It's a long piece of metal, about the length his forearm would be if it wasn't stretched out and four or five inches in diameter. Rusty. Sharp.
  58. 5:04:27 PM <•Teller|GM> "So..." Swole says. Her voice is cool, but he can tell she's nervous. "Gonna get help get these chains off of me, or are you going to let Seachange bitch you around? Gonna do his dirty work for him?"
  59. 5:04:27 PM <•Teller|GM> "I mean, someone dies during a fight? Whatever. Happens. Straight up executing a chick chained to a chair? That's the major leagues of fucking up, man. And letting Seachange get it on tape, like you said? International world championship of fucking up, and you'd be the MV-fucking-P."
  60. 5:04:27 PM <•Teller|GM> It would sound like babbling if she was less coherent. ||
  61. 5:09:35 PM ⇐ Zaits quit ([email protected]) Quit: KVIrc 4.2.0 Equilibrium http://www.kvirc.net/
  62. 5:13:24 PM <Mishie|Horn> He calmly makes his way over to Swole, ignoring her babbling and stands behind her chair. No point in drawing her out and letting her suffer, better to get it done quickly.
  63. 5:17:10 PM <Mishie|Horn> And so with the metal spike gripped his hands, he lifts it up and impales her in the skull, aiming to make it as quick and painless as possible.
  64. 5:17:12 PM <Mishie|Horn> ||
  65. 5:17:34 PM <•Teller|GM> ((Brawn roll, please. Base +1))

  69. 5:21:12 PM <•Teller|GM> "Shi-" Swole starts to crackle with purple energy at the last second, straining at the dozens of chains laced across her body, but it's too little, too late. The metal spike slams through her head, sinking in and sticking at least a foot inside. The crackling ceases. She slumps over.
  70. 5:22:26 PM <•Teller|GM> The triangle of light reappears as the door swings open again. Michael doesn't see anyone on the other side, only the street and the night sky. ||
  71. 5:30:43 PM <Mishie|Horn> Letting go of the spike, Horn Lord turns around and walks away. There's no point worry about evidence or anything with how different this form is from his normal form, and if the PRT are corrupt enough to care about the death of a villain like Swole he'll deal with them later.
  72. 5:31:50 PM <Mishie|Horn> Heading out into the streets, he makes his way back to where he left his backpack, happy with the way the night has gone. He might not have been able to make any money, but he can sleep easy knowing that he's made the streets of Sicol Bend safer thanks to his actions, and that's payment enough for him.
