Doctor Seuss denies the Armenian holocaust

Entry #31 September 5th, AIEG

 Well, last night was a big old bust and now I've got Miyabi worried bout my own health. It started pretty much all right, Miyabi was on top of me and we were gettin’ into the mood when she bumped my right side and I let out a teeny little hiss o pain. Course this got her worried and I tried to downplay it, she started gettin’ crazy over a small bruise she saw and I try and tell her it's nothin', but she starts goin’ into a panic over me. Got her into a bear hug before she started breakin’ out into tears, it's one thing I hate is seein’ that woman cry. I should be gettin’ used to it, callin' her my wife when I write bout her, I just don't do it enough. Before I in and go get myself side-tracked, I gotta get back to what I was talkin' about. like I was sayin', Miyabi started to worry and I stopped her before it got any real serious like.  I just went and took her right over to bed and we snuggled up and started talkin', Miyabi just up and clung to me  as I rubbed her head. Had a hard time stayin' awake on the account of when Miyabi's around, I get real calm and peaceful and was noddin off while tryin my hardest to comfort her. About what felt like 10 minutes in Miyabi caught wind and started to smile up at me and said I could fall asleep if I wanted.

  Tried to act as tough as I could, but it my wife is no fool.  I gave in and just started floatin off, but not before wrappin’ her up in another big embrace and we both went off to sleep. Come mornin' , I tried to sneak out early to try and help her get some of the things out of the way, but on the account of her being clinging to me like a wet shirt I wasn't goin no-where. She must've been dreaming on the account of when I tilted my head down to look at her, she had this real happy like look on her face, little smile and everything. One of the Kikis came in, Carrie, the one with all the freckles across her nose and under her eyes, anyways she gone and popped her head in to check in to see if Miyabi was awake. And before she could say anythin' I was already shushin' her, and pointin’ to the top of Miyabi's head pokin’ out from below the covers before givin’ her the "five more minutes" sign. Got left right alone after that, though it went and became more than just five minutes, more in like we ended up like that till round noon or so, when Carmine poked her head in and started tellin’ us we couldn't lay in bed all day. So we got up, there was a minor bit of fussin’ when Miyabi saw the extent of my brusin', but outside that there was no real big shoutin' match over it.

  Rest of the day was spent goin’ into town and figurin’ out some final things for the weddin’ and a stop by the docks so Miyabi could talk to that blue oni lady again. Ain't much that happened there, just the two of ‘em trading some paperwork I couldn't read, and no it ain't because it was usin’ any real big fancy words, but it was in that weird language Miyabi speaks in from time to time. I don't try and worry myself over what they're sayin' really, just that it's just always real awkward when it happens round me. Ended up leavin’ about 5 minutes in on the account of that, just went to the car and talked to Matilda, well more like teased her about her and my brother hittin’ it off. Last Friday the two of em went out and caught a movie at the drive-in and I caught her comin’ in round near midnight when I went to burgle some snacks since I couldn’t sleep that night. Girl didn’t fight back, just got as red in the face as the hair on her head. In fact when I mentioned I wouldn’t mind her as a in-law she got right silent.I’m just waitin for Johnny to catch wind of this, just hope it ain’t on my weddin’ day. Can’t be puttin’ my kid brother in a good strong headlock in the middle of the isle.

  Speakin’ of, there been stirrings of Miyabi’s parents comin’ soon to stay till after the weddin’. When we got back from the docs one of the maids went and handed her a letter from her folks as I went and backed the limo into the auto shed. Learned bout it as I walked up and asked her what the letter was about. Still real nervous bout meeting her folks, especially her pa, but from the sounds of it we’re settin’ up for a big get together with both families, so I’ll have Pa puttin’ in a good word for me. Gonna go, I promised I show the maids how to cook Ma’s apple chicken, real simple but I’d rather do it and show em.
