  1. The start might be kind of confusing, not sure how I wanted to go about it
  2. It starts out with protag opening his front door at home, then inviting an unseen visitor established to be a reporter for the press
  3.
  4. Protag sits and then starts talking about an event that took place some time ago.
  5. It changes to a flashback of Protag wearing a fancy suit sitting in front of a microphone, talking about the events that occur at an underwater station in passing, referring to how everything has been handled correctly.
  6.
  7. Then it goes to an even earlier flashback of Protag getting ready and putting on a diving suit, then going into a diving vessel with alternate retro futuristic 50's style tech, a CRT monitor, typewriter as fake keyboard, etc. Several establishing shots of interior of vessel and outside, which I planned to do with some models and clever lighting.
  8.
  9. The natural timeline is that he's working for this corporation and is sent to an underwater base, but along the way something happens and his vessel is destroyed, and he has to walk the sea floor over to his destination, where everyone is dead/gone, and he has to find out about the research they were doing there, which was kept even from most of the staff members there. Some still-active overly paranoid defenses for the scientific research would pose as antagonistic elements as well as the natural environment, the limited air, the limited remaining power, the need to leave and go back to the surface, the pressure, the loneliness, etc.
  10.
  11. Once he gets a good look around the base the last thing he does after some investigation (which is arguably brief, because I didn't want to go too in-depth) he goes to the submarine bay and then there's some tension as he repairs one of the subs there and takes it back home.
  12.
  13. After that, he'd have the interview for the corporation to the media about how the situation was handled correctly by his company, which, he was kind of forced to say to keep his job, but he ends up losing it later anyway.
  14. And then you get to the present day, where an independent reporter comes to interview the protag about the whole issue.
  15.
  16. But in the film it'd be present day, post-interview, actual event, present day
  17.
  18. Which I'm worried about since there are 2 flashbacks but I was thinking of showing it in a very specific way
