Despite the loss of several friends leaving Krynn was kind of tough.  It’s one of the worlds where I will have to return when I get my spark… if I get it.
It was strange and slightly worrying to find myself in ancient China again. Ancient China is quickly becoming like creation to me with overpowered martial arts and  pain. This version though featured animal people. Even we were animal people here. Not surprisingly I was a fox, though with only one tail.
I settled in to my Dojo that I had gained here and began to start training the locals in some of the other martial arts I had learned in my travel. I even began teaching the beginnings of cultivation to those that I absolutely trusted.
One day when we were eating at the restraint that I also owned we were approached by a short fat ugly pig thing. Evil emanated from him like a Miasma. I could sense he was dangerous.
He arrogantly introduced himself as Ke-pe the demon dragon of darkness, stating that my presence had set him free and that with my blood his power would be complete.
He telekinetically through me threw a wall but I rolled with it and landed on my feet.
I ran back as fast as I could but found the pig thing half transformed with Arcuied’s hand in it’s chest moments before she tore out his heart.
He coughed up blood in surprise but did not fall. He proclaimed that he would be back as he dissolved in to black smoke.
My wives and daughters rushed me to check if I was ok, Doom chided them for thinking such a weak attack could even hurt me and chided me for falling victim to it.
We increased our defenses even though the demon didn’t seem much a threat.
Also during this time someone stole a scroll and defeated the resident heroes that protected the land. We were about to step in but a young panda solved the problem defeating the thief himself.
A week later we noticed that our daughter Makoto had vanished… she had a bad habit of running off to do something or another… changing moons can be like that. He sister/ destined mate couldn’t find her so we fanned out through the city.
It was my wives and I who found her, or rather she found us. Our collective hearts practically stopped when we found her. we knew something was wrong because her eyes were black. I could feel the now familiar evil emanating from her. Somehow that pig bastard was possessing her even though we didn’t think it should have been possible.
He told us that he would be back using her body as a puppet to speak those words. He mocked us saying we didn’t dare to harm him as he was inside Makoto. Using her ability he took the form of a Huge thunder lizard and began to attack.
We were limited on what we could do so Akitsu trapped Makoto’s legs in ice to hold her. We had several ways of freeing her but they would take time. My wives fought her to keep her busy still careful not to injure her while I transformed in to my magical girl from.
I would end this Ke-pe… no one goes after my kids. With a huge magical purification blast the blackness was pushed out of Makoto who collapsed like a puppet with it’s strings cut, quickly returning to her normal form. The black smoke tried to slink away but She-of Fair-eyes Struck it with her exalted martial arts and tore a hole in it. Tamamo used a curse to force the dragon back in to physical form, and Akitsu impaled it with a half dozen Ice sickles.
I had been quite a while since I had been that angry and we proceeded to tear him apart. It was rather disturbing that I was capable of that to be honest. Akitsue finished Ke-pe off by using a sphere of ultimate destruction to completely obliterate his body.
We checked Makoto, who didn’t seem to remember what had happened. We all held her tightly and swore to protect her better this time. She and her sister wound up so heavily laden with enchantments and gadgets to protect them that they were both embarrassed.  We thought we had taken enough precautions but apparently we had not. This was the second time we had failed them.
We still were not certain Ke-pe was truly gone. So we continued to hunt the city for him. I could still feel his corruption but it was very weak.
As it turns out though it was Doom-chan who found him first. Doom-chan is not known for her mercy and though she would be hesitant to admit it she was protective of her fellow companions as well. By the time we had found them Doom and stripped Ke-pe of his mind leaving him little more than an animal and woven several other powerful magics in to him, making it so no matter how much power he gained he would no longer be a threat.
We sealed him away after that. While he would escape from time to time his was little more than a mindless beast who was easily contained and resealed despite his power.
