  1. The following are a collection of random Support Conversations that might have happened, if IntSys had more time / was on crack / enjoyed being printed money. 6. C-Support:
  7. >"Blast... it is horrendous enough that the little princeling kept me alive... but now I must listen to his army's yammering all throughout the night?"
  8. >"... Hmm? Hey, aren't you...?"
  9. >"What? Who dares run into me, the herald of Grima?"
  10. >"Oh, that's right! Hello, Grandfather!"
  11. >"... Grandfather? Do you mean to say that you are the child of my own son?"
  12. >"Well, I don't see anyone else calling you a grandpa...?"
  13. >"Feh... It seems I had forgotten just how long I had been separated from him. Child, do tell me... who was it that your father married?"
  14. >"Heehee, you mean you don't know? It's..."
  15. >"(Yes, that's right little one... give me this knowledge, so that I may better plot for revenge...)"
  16.
  17. B-Support:
  18. >"Grandfather! I've been looking everywhere for you! Father keeps complaining that you've been sneaking around his and mother's tent..."
  19. >"I would not dare sneak! I am merely... investigating his choice of woman."
  20. >"Huh? Why would you be doing that?"
  21. >"Because there is no possibility of one of such pure Fell Blood like him could fall for... for... that lowborn!"
  22. >"Grandfather, I think your age might be getting to you... there is nothing wrong with mother."
  23. >"Everything is wrong with her! She must have charmed my son into wedding her... and I shall find the proof!" <Leaves>
  24. >"... I guess he really is pretty protective of Dad, huh?"
  25.
  26. A-Support:
  27. >"Hmmm... it seems as though no enchantment was placed upon him... could he really have fallen for...?"
  28. >"Grandfather? Are you alright?"
  29. >"Ah... Morgan, was it? Come here, I need to explain some details to you. Do you know why I lost my temper when I heard who your father had married?"
  30. >"No, but I just assumed that it was because you were tired and cranky. Old people get like that sometimes."
  31. >"It is because in my case, the woman that birthed my dear son did not love me. I did not love her back, either; it was arranged so that we could procreate a perfect vessel for Lord Grima. When I had heard that your father had married, and indeed had a child, I was... angry, at first. Angry that my own flesh-and-blood got something that I did not."
  32. >"Ohh, I see... you were jealous of him, then?"
  33. >"In a way, yes. I have spent decades believing that every bit of fate was decided, and that no one could change it. That all came to a crashing halt once the princeling struck me down... and it was rebroken once more when he offered his hand to me, allowing me a second chance."
  34. >"..."
  35. >"Do you know how important you are, child? How much time, effort, and sacrifice went into making your father, only to be cut short within a generation?"
  36. >"You must be pretty mad at me for that..."
  37. >"The old me might have, yes. But, seeing you now... I could not be prouder of my son."
  38.
  39. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. S(?)-support:
  42. >"Ma... Hey, Ma... Ma, you alive!? Gimme somethin', here!"
  43. >"Hmmm...? Brady, what on earth are you doing in my tent so early in the morning?"
  44. >"I brought you some tea, Ma. Thought you'd like to wake up smelling something besides horse-pats."
  45. >"Why, how thoughtful of you, Brady! Come, won't you join me for the moment?"
  46. >"Actually Ma, that's the other reason I wanted to come here. I wanted to ask you somethin'..."
  47. >"..."
  48. >"..."
  49. >"...!? What in the world do you mean by that, Brady!? You would ask that I... I... run an affair behind my husband's back!?"
  50. >"Th-that's not it, Ma! What I mean is... well, you're the cat's pajamas to me."
  51. >"Do I *look* like a feline's sleepwear to you?"
  52. >"Not for reals, Ma! Look, the point is, it ain't really wrong if we don't do regretful crap, right? Just some 'mother-son time', like we do in the future... only, y'know, older."
  53. >"What DID we do, exactly? I would die of embarrassment if I did something so vulgar as... with someone like..."
  54. >"Nothin' like that! Stuff like havin' breakfast in bed together, an' going out for a dip when the rest of the gang was snoozin'... things we both enjoy."
  55. >"... Hmmph. Well, I *do* appreciate a refreshing swim at night, where no one could see me unkempt and vulnerable... And you swear that it would not be inappropriate?"
  56. >"Cross my heart, hope to be a square if I lied."
  57. >"... I suppose we can work something out. In that case, let us start now... come here and give your mother a hug, my darling Brady..."
  58.
  59. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  60.
  61. S-Support:
  62. >"Mother! I have wonderful news!"
  63. >"Oh? Did you finally develop a winning strategy?"
  64. >"Not quite. I actually came to the realization that I will never be able to surpass you in tactics."
  65. >"Oh... Morgan, you don't need say things like th-"
  66. >"But that's okay! Because in knowing that, I finally understand why I've been trying so hard to best you."
  67. >"Really now? And why would that be?"
  68. >"Well, I got to thinking about it... trying to figure out why I felt so excited to talk to you, how your smiles made my chest ache... and when I went into town to find more books, everything suddenly became clear when I saw *this*."
  69. >"M-Morgan? Is that I what I think it is...?"
  70. >"Uh-huh. It's a ring. And it's just your size; I knew what measurements it needed to be exactly."
  71. >"Morgan... you can't mean that you want to..."
  72. >"I do, mother. At long last, I know why I could never remember my father's face, and why you always were at the forefront of my mind no matter how dark and hopeless the world around me became."
  73. >"Morgan... I don't know what to say, except... thank you. It's a little embarrassing to admit, but, I've always thought you were a handsome young man, and how lucky a girl would be to call you their husband. Now I guess I know why."
  74. >"Here, mother. Allow me to put this on you..."
  75. [Voice-over]
  76. >"There, see? A perfect fit... You've bested me in strategy, and now you've claimed my heart. I would happily play the King to you, my Queen. I love you."
  77.
  78. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. C-Support:
  81. >"Fie, swordsman. I have a question for you."
  82. >"Hmm? Oh, you're the princess from Chon'sin, right? Say'ri?"
  83. >"That is correct. And you are the former champion of West Ferox, Lon'qu. I have heard of you before."
  84. >"Really now? Didn't think that anyone back home would have heard of a no-name swordsman like me."
  85. >"You assume that you are unknown back in our homeland. On the contrary, you are well-renowned as a skillful master of the blade. Perhaps you you could tutor me in your stances and strikes?"
  86. >"... No deal. I don't teach princesses, especially not ones who'd know more than me."
  87. >"That is a rather specific thing to avoid doing. Just how many princesses have asked you to teach them swordplay?"
  88. >"Just leave me be, will you? I need to focus if I want to improve any, and you're just getting in the way."
  89. >"Perhaps I could watch you silently, then? I think that I would be quite the diligent-"
  90. >"Augh! If you won't leave, then I will!"
  91. >"Wait, Lon'qu!... Blast, he got away. He truly is a swift one. I have much to learn from him indeed, if I want to even match his skill..."
  92.
  93. B-Support:
  94. >"Lon'qu."
  95. >"Gah! D-Don't sneak up on me like that... I nearly cut you in half."
  96. >"Hmmm. I would not have suspected a warrior as focused as yourself would be so easily surprised."
  97. >"It's not that. It's... w-well, I don't like being around women."
  98. >"Oh? So that is why you did not wish to train me in your style. I had assumed you were against royalty in some way."
  99. >"If that were the case, I wouldn't be fighting in Chrom's forces now, would I?"
  100. >"True. Still, your apprehension around women is most peculiar. It would explain your loss to Lucina, however. Even disguised it would appear that you knew what you were fighting against."
  101. >"Drop it, alright? I don't like talking about it..."
  102. >"Ah. There must be a reason for your condition, no doubt. However, as befitting of a proper Chon'sin, I will press you no further."
  103. >"Thanks for that. Most people don't seem to get it when I don't want to explain."
  104. >"A true warrior needs no explanation for why they do what they do. All that matters is their conviction."
  105. >"Exactly... H-hey, maybe I was too rough before when I was avoiding you. You seem more reasonable than anyone else though, so I guess I can make an exception for you... I will allow you to watch me and study my stances, but only if you remain silent until the end."
  106. >"It would be an honor to be your pupil, Lon'qu."
  107. >"Heh. And I guess I can take you as a student, Say'ri."
  108.
  109. A-Support:
  110. >"I see... Most interesting indeed."
  111. >"What'd I say about talking?"
  112. >"My apologies. I shall wait until you have finished."
  113. >"Good... ... ...There. All done."
  114. >"That was quite the spectacle, Lon'qu. I do not believe that I've seen a form quite like that back in Chon'sin."
  115. >"That's because it's not a style from there. I combined fighting styles from both Chon'sin and Ferox. It's worked out pretty well for me so far, seeing as I'm not dead."
  116. >"Do you mind if you show me again? I feel as if I need a closer inspection to fully understand it."
  117. >"I thought I said that you had to sit over there while I practiced."
  118. >"Well, yes, but-"
  119. >"No 'yes, but' about it. I told you I don't like women. The fact that you're royalty doesn't change that."
  120. >"Why do you not approve of womenfolk, then?"
  121. >"You said you wouldn't ask about that again."
  122. >"I understand what I said before. However, if I am to learn from you, I need to know why you act the way you do. Can a chick learn from their mother if the bird does not unfurl her wings?"
  123. >"... Feh. Fine. If it'll get you to stop bothering me with it. Listen up then, this might take a while..."
  124.
  125. S-Support:
  126. >"Lon'qu. I wish to discuss what we had talked about before."
  127. >"Hmm? Shouldn't you be training?"
  128. >"Normally yes, but this is important. The girl that you told me about, Ke'ri... did you love her?"
  129. >"... She was important to me."
  130. >"And you were important to her... she allowed you to escape, to live on and survive."
  131. >"What's this have to do with your training?"
  132. >"Forgive me for bringing up painful memories, Lon'qu. But... I have a confession."
  133. >"Really? Spit it out, then."
  134. >"Aye. You are important to me, as well. You have trained me, taught me to better myself, and even let me privy to know about your past. I wanted to make it up to you. For that, I brought you a gift you might appreciate."
  135. >"A sheathe? Thank's for that, I supp- ...!? W-w-wait a moment, there's something around the string here!"
  136. >"That is correct... it's a ring."
  137. >"H-hold on now, you can't be serious... y-you're not proposing to me, are you!?"
  138. >"I understand if it makes you uneasy, but this is how I feel. I am resolute in my beliefs!"
  139. >"Damn right I'm uneasy!... B-but, I must admit, you've stirred some feelings inside me too. I haven't felt this way since Ke'ri was alive... and even though she was important to me, I get the feeling that she'd want me to find love even without her."
  140. >"So, you accept then?"
  141. >"I do, Say'ri. I l-l... l-l-lo... urgh. The words won't come out."
  142. >"Hmm... we will get there someday. But I love you too."
