Here's a list of his basic info (I'll explain in detail how I got this)

The email was first obtained through a screenshot he sent me. He gave me his Paxful account info as rep, and I asked him to edit the page to prove he owned the account. His email is seen at the top right of the picture. (https://imgur.com/a/6rPmq)

His Paxful account has a comment with his name in it. Also, his twitter (which has a near identical username as his Paxful) confirms this

The Twitter has a near identical username, has the same name as his Paxfull, and fits with his interest in BTC.


We agreed on trading $70 worth of Amazon Gift Cards for a $62 Visa Gift Card. I went first, but to be safe, I checked the balance beforehand and screenshotted it. He claimed he was having issues redeeming- however, Amazon said that both gift cards had been redeemed. After he took the gift cards, Amazon Support confirmed that the card was used under an account with the same email.

I can log into my paxful account and type your name anywhere in the settings or something to show it’s mine and still can link my localbitcoins rep and do the same, and the steamgameswap rep still shows that I have used PayPal or other ways many times to trade for things and that I’m legitimate trader

Well, either you redeemed them and you’re lying, or you’ve been hacked. Either way, I’m contacting the mods about this as a scam. I have timed proof of when these gift cards were redeemed, both of which were ~2 minutes after I sent you the codes. I can show my amazon history as proof that i didn’t use them (same as reddit email), and I know from experience that Amazon support will give you the email of the person who used a gift card. Can’t say it was a pleasure doing business with you, but if your balance changes, write me a message.

2 codes were given- I was clear about that. The other codes were if you wanted to use the card physically- there were only two online codes. As for scamming, think logically. What did I get out of this change? I’ve lost $60 and a good couple hours of my life. As for the codes, it can easily be proven that they weren’t redeemed by me- Amazon provides information on who redeemed the codes. Good luck with your side of the argument, because it doesn’t look good for you. I hope the $60 was worth getting banned.

If you’re really not trying to scam me, here’s what Amazon says might’ve happened: If you're seeing an error message that the Amazon.com Gift Card has already been redeemed, it's likely because the gift card claim code has already been applied to your account. Just an update- Amazon says that the $10 one was redeemed by you: "E-mail: cornellamichael1@gmail.com, December 18, 2017". Still waiting to hear from Amazon about the $50 one. However, this is concrete proof that you redeemed one, and unless you contact me because your balance is showing correctly now, I'm assuming you scammed me (I'll wait a bit before forwarding this, to give you a chance to check again)

Alright, I now have solid proof that you got both cards. I'll give you 3-5 hours to respond, but if you don't, I'm messaging the mods and everyone you're trying to currently trade with, so they don't make the same mistake.
