*            download with PC, install and play from Wii-HDD              *

* Orginal @jtp10181 from the wiihacks-Forum (many, many THX 2 U)          *
*                                                                         *

NOTE: This manual is not as detailed as the german-version, because english is not my native language... or... because i'm to lazy ^^
      Hope it works anyway...


REQUIREMENTS:
*************
- PAL(NTSC)-ISOs & DVDs of 'Guitar Hero 5' and/or 'Rockband 2'
- cIOS 249 & Homebrew-Channel(HBC) must be installed
- NO Download-Songs on SD
- Wii connected with I-Net
- Around 900 Blocks of free Wii-Memory
- Content of the folder "Wii/SD" from the Download at your SD (do not use SDHC)


I)  Installation uLoader and SaveGame Manager GX:
    *********************************************
       1. install IOS 202,222,223 with "(!) cIOS 222 installer v5" using standard settings
          (you have to start the installer 3 times to do this)
       2. install "uLoaderSDHC-UMRD.wad" and "SaveGameManager GX - SMGX.wad" with "WAD Manager 1.5"

II) Trucha-sign game related IOSes and get latest Shop-Channel
    **********************************************************
       1. Start "DOP-Mii(v13)" via HBC
       2. Install IOS37/v3869 & IOS56/v5405 with all 3 patch-options
       3. Update Wii-Shop-Channel

III)Use NAND-Backup to get your 'ConsoleID'
    ***************************************
       1. Install "BootMii" as IOS and start it via HBC (press HOME while in HBC)
       2. Start NAND-Backup
       3. Interrupt Backup-Process immediately after it has started by switching off Wii
       4. Open 'keys.bin' from SD with a text editor and COPY the 'ConsoleID' (the 8-digit code after 'ConsoleID:')
       5. Open 'ng_id.txt' from each of the 'CommonFiles'-folders with a text editor and PASTE your 'ConsoleID'

IV) Unlock DLC
    **********
    A) RB2:
       1. Run 'Install-Common-Files.bat' from 'RockBand2-DLC-PCTools-PAL(NTSC)'-folder
       2. Run '--- CreateUnlockWAD.bat ---' from 'DLC_Gen_1_sZAP','DLC_Gen_2_sZBP', 'DLC_Gen_3_sZCP', 'DLC_Gen_4_sZDP', 'DLC_Gen_5_sZDP' and 'DLC_TBRB_r9JP'
       3. Copy all created WADs from 'RockBand2-DLC-PCTools-PAL(NTSC)' to SD
       4. Use "WAD Manager 1.5" to install all WADs
       5. Start RB2 via DVD or use CFGLoader(included in the download package + a forwarder for it) with RB2 configured to "223-mload"
       6. Download one of the latest songs from the music store
       7. Quit game

    B) GH5:
       1. Run 'Install-Common-Files.bat' from 'GuitarHero-DLC-PCTools-PAL(NTSC)'-folder
       2. Run '--- CreateUnlockWAD.bat ---' from 'DLC-sXAP GHWT','DLC-sXEP GH5','DLC-sXFP BH-GH Import','DLC-sXGP Smash Hits Import' and 'DLC-sYOP GHWT Imports-Fixes'
       3. Copy all created WADs from 'GuitarHero-DLC-PCTools-PAL(NTSC)' to SD
       4. Use "WAD Manager 1.5" to install all WADs
       5. Start GH5 via DVD or use CFGLoader(included in the download package + a forwarder for it) with GH5 configured to "223-mload"
       6. Enter music store and download one (short) song from each of the following categories:
          - New Arrivals
          - Songs ( a GHWT-DLC-Song eg "What have you done")
          - Special Offers -> Band Hero
          - Special Offers -> Guitar Hero Greatest Hits
          - Special Offers -> Guitar Hero World Tour
       7. Quit game

V)  NAND-Backup & NAND-Extraction:
    ******************************
       1. Start "BootMii" via HBC (press HOME while in HBC)
       2. Backup NAND
       3. Copy 'nand.bin'&'keys.bin' to 'NAND Extractor'-folder
       4. Start 'NAND Extractor', open 'nand.bin' and choose 'Extract All'
       5. On Wii you can now delete all RB2/GH5-DLCs via Wii-Data-Managment

VI) Prepare Wii-HDD:
    ****************
    - 1st Partition WBFS  as Primary-Partition (install 1st RB2 and/or 2nd GH5 here. If you don't install RB2 1st 'uLoader' maybe crashes ! Happens 2 me... don't know why !?)
    - 2nd Partition FAT32 as Primary-Partition (copy the 'nand'-folder from 'NAND Extractor' here; see step V)

VII)Download & install Songs to Wii-HDD:
    ************************************

    A) For RB2 :
       1. Start '--- StartMenu ---.bat' from the 'DLC_Gen_1_sZAP'-Folder
       2. a) Execute 1-3 in sequence and leave menu with '0' afterwards, or...
          b) Execute 9 to use the Automatic (1-3 in one go)
       3. Repeat from 1. for the folders 'DLC_Gen_2_sZBP', 'DLC_Gen_3_sZCP', 'DLC_Gen_4_sZDP', 'DLC_Gen_5_sZDP' and 'DLC_TBRB_r9JP'

    B) For GH5 :
       1. Start '--- StartMenu ---.bat' from the 'DLC-sXAP GHWT'-Folder
       2. a) Execute 1-3 in sequence and leave menu with '0' afterwards, or...
          b) Execute 9 to use the Automatic (1-3 in one go)
       3. Repeat from 1. for the folders 'DLC-sXEP GH5', 'DLC-sXFP BH-GH Import','DLC-sXGP Smash Hits Import' und 'DLC-sYOP GHWT Imports-Fixes'

    NOTE 1: Feel free to start another packet while one is already loading. This will work parallel.

    NOTE 2: To download and install new available songs, leave all files on your PC-HDD as they are

    NOTE 3: '--- StartMenü ---.bat' is the german version

VIII)Configure Games:
    *****************

    Start "uLoader"
       -> choose Game (GH5 or RB2)
       -> 'Configure'
       -> 'cIOS/BOOT'->'cIOS 223'->'Ok'
       -> 'Saves & DLC'->'USB'->'Ok'->'Ok'
       -> 'Load Game'
       -> (GH5 only) Enter 'music store->special offers' and download 'GH World Tour-Update' and 'GH World Tour-Update(v2)'
          (This will take a long time, but else you can't play most of the GHWT-DLCs because they will be grayed out in song-selection)


    NOTE: GH5 need 2-3 Minutes to start
          RB2 7-8 Minutes (!!! Say NO when you are asked 2 use SD !!!)
          ...so... be patientent !!!
          If RB2 tries to move songs to SD remove SD even if the screen tells you not to do so

Add new Songs:
*************:

 A) For RB2:
    --------

    1. Wii-HDD -> PC
    2. Start '--- StartMenu ---.bat' from the 'DLC_Gen_5_sZDP'-folder and execute 1-3 or 9.
    3. After copying the new songs to the Wii-HDD connect Wii-HDD with Wii -> Start Wii > Start "SaveGame Manager GX"
    4. 'USB'-TAB at right window > "Rock Band 2" > "Install" > "Yes" > "Ok" > "Close"-button(top-right) > quit manager (HOME-Button)
    5. Start RB2 via DVD/CFGLoader (see IV)A)5.) and download one new song in music store -> save game -> quit RB2
    6. Start 'uLoader' -> "Rock Band 2" -> 'Configure' -> 'Saves & DLC' -> 'NAND Export Save' -> 'Yes' -> 'Ok' -> 'Ok' -> 'Load Game'

 B) For GH5:
    --------

    1. Wii-HDD -> PC
    2. Start '--- StartMenu ---.bat' from the 'DLC-sXEP GH5'-folder and execute 1-3 or 9.
    3. After copying the new songs to the Wii-HDD connect Wii-HDD with Wii.

    ALTERNATIVE: Start GH5 with uLoader' and download new songs from the music store to Wii-Memory.
                 (Will last much longer because you have to select and download each song seperatly)



GH5 and RB2 as Game-Channels
****************************

 1. Connect Wii-HDD to PC
 2. Start "Loadstructor"
 3. 'Add from WBFS' -> Set 'Drive' to WBFS-Partition -> 'Load'
 4. Choose GH5 and RB2 (while pressing STRG) -> 'Add ISO(s)' -> 'START!!'
 5. Copy the 2 generated WADs from the 'wad'-folder of 'Loadstructor" 2 the 'wad'-folder of SD-Card
 6. Connect SD and Wii-HDD 2 Wii
 7. Install both WADs with WAD-Manager (now you have GH5 and RB2 as Channels)
 8. Start 'uLoader' -> 'Home' -> '+' -> 'uLoader Hacks' -> '+' -> 'Short Direct Launch (from Channel)' -> 'Ok'
    (This reduces starting-time of uLoader)
 9. Optionally remove the 'uLoader'-Forwarder-Channel with Wii-Data-Managment.



Adding  new Wii-Friends to NAND-Emulation (GH5)
***********************************************
(RB2 has an own friendcode system and it should be no prob adding friends)

To add new Wii-Friends even in NAND-Emulation follow these instructions:

 1. The new freind should be activ on die Wii friendlist
 2. Start GH5 via DVD or a 'normal' USB-Loader (NOT 'uLoader')
 3. Activate die Wii-friend-option under 'Options -> Online-Options'
 4. Enter Quick Play, choose friendlist and check if all friends are present
 5. Go back and save game under options
 6. Make a new BootMii-Backup, open it via NAND-Extractor (only open!) and ...
 7. Open the folder 'shared2 -> wc24' und extract(rightclick -> Extract) the files 'nwc24fl.bin' and 'nwc24fls.bin'
    (The 2 files were extracted to the topmost level of the 'nand'-folder within the NAND-Extractor)
 8. Copy the 2 files to the Wii-HDD in folder 'nand -> shared2 -> wc24' and replace original-files
 9. Start 'uLoader' and choose 'GH5 -> Configure -> Saves & DLC -> NAND Extract Save'
10. Start GH5 and the new friend(s) should now also appear within NAND-Emulation
