V-Day Poem from a Friend

You hail down a mail clerk and ask if you have any parcels available for pickup.  After a brief search, they return to you and say, "Ah, yes.  It appears that you've got mail."

You inquire with a mail clerk about picking up a parcel.  They disappear for a little while before returning with a small parchment envelope, which they hand to you.

The envelope got pretty banged up during its travels and can no longer be used for sending mail.

In the parchment envelope you see an inky black scroll.
> get my scroll from my env
You get an inky black scroll displaying a dark purple gryphon from inside your parchment envelope.
> toss my env
You throw away your parchment envelope.

In Common, it reads:

    Roses are red, but so is the floor,
    Every time you walk out the door.
    With healing hands and a murderous grin,
    You patch them up, then break them again.

     Bandages here, a dagger there,
    A heart full of love (and zero care).
    So on this fine day, we honor your art,
    Both mending the flesh and tearing apart!
