There was a cold shoulder

There was a child, glistening
In embers behind mirrors
The twisted, time-conceived fears

In the dream house we built
We had a great time, for which
We would have our remind
In a blissful lilt

The cold shoulder he gave
Would be his only
The only slave, unto him
Under all, his pyre grave

There was a memory he shouted
He knew the day had came
When all he knew was put to shame
It was the night he shouted
Of a remind, in his mind
So clear, he went to rewind
The game he played
On a month's time he stayed
Where is he now?
Where is the woman
He cannot be with
In lilting bliss
The bridge builds itself
With a hurtful miss
