Mivtach Shamir Holdings is a venture capital firm whose CEO and main shareholder is Meir Shamir, long-time chairman of Birthright Israel. Birthright Israel is one of the most notable “ethno-philanthropic” endeavors of the Mega Group, the organized crime-linked organization co-founded by Leslie Wexner and Charles Bronfman in 1991 with close ties to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and Israeli espionage scandals in general. Birthright was created by Mega Group members Charles Bronfman and Michael Steinhardt three years after the group was founded and its main donors include the Bronfmans, Steinhardt, Israel’s government and Sheldon Adelson.
