[17:12] Lemuria made her way over to Erika, the manner in which she carried herself making her mood rather obvious. Her shoulders were slumped, she was paler than normal, and she had dark circles under her eyes. She was exhausted, and it was clear that Blake's death was taking its toll.

"Did Blake have anything on her corpse, Erika? If so, I desire it."

However, that bad mood was not reflected in her voice, which was eerile calm. She wasn't as lively and animated as normal, but she didn't sound as upset as she looked.

There was clearly more on her mind, but she wanted to start with something less... dire.

Erika certainly had no use for them, after all.

"Here you are." She said. She saw no reason to keep the items from her sister, though her gray eyes did narrow just a touch.

[17:24] Lemuria took the items in hand. There was about as much of it as she expected, although she'd be lying if she didn't say she wanted there to be more. There was a moment of silence, and a disregard of everything else that was stated, not even a risen eyebrow at the idea of her being checked for occultism.

So she spoke.

"Did you enjoy it, Erika? Did you enjoy killing her? Did you enjoy using my sister to make a statement?"

No longer did her voice sound neutral. No, the opposite.

"Because I very much did not."

Her voice seethed venom. It seethed bitterness.

"I can understand killing her. She deserved it. She was overconfident and made your life a hassle, hurting and killing many you held dear. You had every right to kill her, and I can see that even through my sadness."

"But did you really have to make a spectacle out of it? Was that really necessary?"

[17:31] The Noble was silent as Lemuria asked those questions, and she was silent for a while. Galynn mentioning an execution brought a light sigh that escaped her lips before she spoke up.

"I have always been the one to faint in the face of death, Lemuria," She explained patiently. "Did I enjoy killing an Occultist who threw away her second chance? A Witch?" She asked, rhetorically before her head was held up that much higher. There was a pause, Erika never ripping her sight away from the woman.

"Yes. Because that is my goal in this world - is to rid Esshar of Occultists, Witches, Demons and their ilk. That is where my research has taken me, that is where my life has taken me. This is what I do. Using her death to make a statement to those that choose only darkness was required, to make sure they know precisely what's coming for them." She said, a cold tone coming from her.

"Because it's me. And they should be scared - because I'm not scared any longer."

[17:35] There was a reason a law had been put in place, and while he would lack the power to stop the woman.. it should be mentioned. "I will not defend her right to be executed, she deserved death, but to claim that you enjoy ending the life of another human being... abomination or not, is worrying."

"Neither is blatantly ignoring the law put in place after the death of the blood-using Syndicate. There was no notice before execution, how can we expect people to listen to the laws when our own don't abide them..?" A sigh. "There can be emotion, and impulse in the hear of the moment Lady Erika, but part of being what we are is discipline as much as anything else." Though he knew what was likely to come next, some long explanation of how he was naïve and hadn't seen what the elder Knight had seen.

Though that changed nothing. "Though there is nothing to really be done now.. but it should be noted by a ranking Order member."

The cadet crosses his arms, looking over at the other section of knights who would have defended an ignoble killer.

"Do you put up a notice when a Demon finally falls in battle for it to be executed? They were a witch- anything more than just killing them on the spot is too much. Same with demons, same with Occultists. There's a difference between killing people, and killing monsters."

[17:41] Alita remained there quietly, her hands clasped behind her back as the tension between Erika and Lemuria began to build. That was to be expected though was it not? One, the person who killed the other's family in such a public fashion, for little more than to send a message to abominations? That's how it was explained to Alita, of course her source wasn't really the most reliable, a dumb ass tiger demon who aimed to goad Lemuria into attacking it.

Alita wasn't one for talking too much these days, ever so quiet unless she chose to exchange hushed words. It wasn't that she didn't WANT to say anything, it was more that.. she's not really sure what to say, and because of this, she just stays close to her friend, to at least give them some level of emotional support.

[17:42] Crossing his arms as he sat in mid-air, the prospect of taking another life was still something Robin couldn't ever truly take relinquishment in. Regardless of them being an occultist, witch or demon he couldn't see himself enjoying it, but he would certainly burn out darkness if there was no other option.

He had to accept that some couldn't be saved.

But he didn't have to accept the responsibility of letting his actions warp what he thought about things, or felt regarding certain actions. When he allowed that light to die out, then he couldn't truly utilize his shine within otherwise he'd just be another liar, or pugilist zealot.

"Tha's the law. Though it only stands if we're able to capture em, Gally. Sometimes an attack's too fierce an' a fight get too heated. Though we should intend to always capture, rather than outright end our enemies, an' lettin' emotions run tha' hot can be dangerous.

Ya did the right thing, Erika. An' while the process got a bit messy, we'll refine it an' all keep up the work. I apologize for ya sister in the midst o' all o' this though Lemuria. We tried to get her to pick the right path.. Hel, Erika here even cleansed her o' her occultism. But she decided tha' on her own.. to re-embrace it. An' We can only offer so many chances before we lose the integrity o' our duties an' missions... This is comin' from someone tha' believes in redemption over all else, too."

That was all that could be used to describe the expression she had. Lemuria had never been this angry before in her entire life, and should she be an occultist, now would've been the perfect time for her to lose control, to reveal herself as an occultist, and to attack. And yet... she did not. For those around her, that might signify that she wasn't one, but for those in the know, it would instead be an exhibition of her self control.

"Gaze upon your beloved knights, my friends. Gaze upon those who do not find what they do regrettable, but rather, enjoy it. Rather than stand above those they see fit to kill, they immerse themselves in the same dance of carnage and bloodshed that those they slay partake in."

"You would fit in well in Moonfall, Erika. Reveling in the deaths of others is the exact same kind of behavior I found so reprehensible."

"You make me sick."

She spat on the ground beneath Erika's feet, before making one final statement.

"You should be ashamed of yourself. Completely and utterly ashamed. How dare you show your face in front of the people you are supposed to inspire."

...a statement that carried weight unlike anything else she had said.

"I'm unrelated to this entire topic, so disregard at will. But Occultists and such are the enemies of Osrona, yes?"

A brief pause is given to see if anyone were keen upon answering before she continued. Though she'll continue speaking regardless of whether someone does or not. "Is it wrong to fight your enemies? To show that you're the superior force and that they should give up? Conflict is just as much a physical battle as it is a moral one from what I understand. I was raised with the ideals that you should spare those that show signs of redemption, but eliminate those who are unable to redeem themselves. There's no reason to show mercy to those who will not do the same to those they fight, and to feel bad about it is honestly rather silly."

A light shrug follows, an addendum tacked on briefly following this. "If anything, I feel one should be happy that they've saved many future lives from a threat." Whether somebody enjoys the actual act of taking a life from another is completely irrelevant to Reiya, it's the purpose behind it and the effect it has on others that should be reflected upon if anything.

"Are you truly that upset that a notice wasn't posted? That I did not seek permission before I destroyed someone who wished nothing but death and destruction upon our kind? Should we embrace Witches and their Demons, give them chances to escape as has already been shown?" She asked, incredulously. No, actually.

She was furious. Furious that she had to defend her actions like this - that Robin had to defend her actions. Erika had always been the weak one in the face of death and blood. Robin had even been present for most of it. Every execution, she had always fainted. Even when they had to swim through a lake made entirely of blood, did Erika have to close her eyes and rely on Nerin to guide them, so scared was she.

But from that fright came a growth. From Blake harming Berrios had a monster been unleashed that would ensure darkness would be stomped out permanently.

"There was discipline in what I did. I gave her a painless end, even if she didn't deserve it. Now her head snapped towards Lemuria and Erika's entire stance shifted, almost as if she was in battle itself. Robin had seen it - most notably from the time she had snapped and ran through Berrios, and Asphira… All to harm a woman who had made her mad beyond mad.

Even as Lemuria said those words, Erika's unwavering gray stare did not move, before a subtle twitch was offered by her eye. All at once that self impassioned speech was cut short, and she tore herself away from the park, stomping Northwards.

Probably home.
To hide.

[18:04] Following that showing of Lemuria spitting at Erika's feet the Man would appear between the two simply floating in mid-air still as his hues flicked between either of them. A simple, and subtle sentence given in the Knight's direction before Robin's words were then directed at Lemuria.

"I know.

Lemuria. I agree tha' no one should ever enjoy the claimin' o' another life entirely. But I don't think it's as sadistic o' a pleasure tha' ya think it is for the Dame.

I think it's a copin' mechanism for what horrors may wrack her in her first spillin' o' blood... An' with not many influences to grasp from there's only relaly one she's soundin' similar too. But Erika isn't the beacon o' your anger, an' neither are the Knights o' Watch.

This is a tragedy.

An' we allneed to treat it like one. Demons, witches an' occultists drive in corruption to wedge us apart an' pick away at the remains. An' this result is what happens when we let it.

Sufferin' was ended here.

I don't just believe, I know Erika is intendin' to keep people safe, even if it means becomin' somethin' she's not. An' I'd do the same for any o' ya as is our duty. But we can do better, an' we just need to see as the Order tha' even in the most horrible o' actions, we do not need to become horrible people for the greater good."

He'd look back to Erika again, then sigh before offering that much to the grieving sister, to the shocked populace and to the court of stars they all moved within.

All of the issues that have happened within these last few moments likely would have been mitigated or not happened at all." His gaze didn't falter, her anger was the wind, and he was the mountain that wouldn't bow to it.

The Law was what maintained Order, the same as his Codes maintained his life. Perhaps it was the way the man's mind simply worked, but Erika had her reasons to be angry. He had his to say what he did.

"A painless death is what we should all offer, it's what separates us." As long as it was done in the proper way. He had more to say, but the woman took off in her emotions.. perhaps leaving his contribution unheard and unsaid in it's entirety.

A rift between he and his teacher as a result..? Perhaps.

It would seem there was more turmoil in the city. It was her duty of course, to lay out such a statement. A reminder. "They are not human. They are corrupt. It is mercy to kill them." She repeated, the aspiring priestess repeating the point.

For if such creatures were seen as human; the resolve to purify them would waiver. They must be resolute. Firm. "Pity them; for they have no fate other than to be cleansed."

Is this what was destined to happen for her being what she was? Perhaps it was, perhaps it wasn't. Lemuria didn't want to think of such things right now; she was too busy grieving to ponder things like what fate had in store. The words spoken by everyone here were too much for her to keep track of, so instead, she offered a statement spoken to everyone here.

"Then a tragedy it shall be. I hope you know that those you slay have hearts, too. Even if you decide they are not human... a heart is a heart, no matter who it belongs to."

And with that, she turned on her heel, walking off if not stopped.

"Just make sure to not abandon your hearts in the pursuit of your goals. That is what will make you no better than them."
