how to construct scene:

note: when i say scene, i don't mean a scene from sheets. like, uhh, the flow of events... ish. each part can take several scenes, or a scene can hold severals parts of this.

the flow goes from
Goal > Conflict > Disaster > Reaction > Dilemma > Decision

Goal: set up the goal for the scene
Conflict: set up something that prevents (You) from getting that goal
Disaster: don't just give (You) the goal immediately, give some failures or something
Reaction: take some time to process this failure, ehh you can skip this or not
Dilemma: the hero faces a choice. choices help create character for your characters (???).
Decision: your character makes a choice, thus giving them a new goal (maybe, or just reinforcing something who knows). Then you loop back to the first part. most scenes in fictions simply follow this flow. i mean, you can apply it in slice of life stuff as well.

Goal: i want to go eat ice cream with my friends
Conflict: aiiiiee my friends are all busy leaving me alone
Disaster: i try to go alone... but the ice cream closed it's so over...
Reaction: I feel sad, and sit alone in the park. some onee-san comes close and comfort me i don't know
Dilemma: do i give up on my dream to have ice cream with my friends, or do i keep moving forward
Decision: yeah, i'm having ice cream . how? we make our own ice cream in my house, let's gooooo

Goal: have ice cream with my friends this weekend
Conflict: making sure my classmates' schedules are good to go, and i have money to buy ingredients
Disaster: i managed to line up everyone's sched, but i'm outta cash nooooooo it's so over bros....
Reaction: i cry and sit alone in the park. some onee-san comes close and comforts me again
Dilemma: do i give up on the dream or do i keep moving forward?
Decision: i sacrifice my "upgrade my pc to something amazing" funds to make this ice cream date a success!

Goal: the weekend is here! now is the time to make the ice cream party a success
Conflict: oh shit oh fuck we don't know how to make ice cream
Disaster: we search online and we manage to get something going, but oh noooo we run out of ingredients due to our fuck up
Reaction: No onee-san to comfort you now
Dilemma: do we accept having a few ice cream, or do we try to experiment to have more ice cream?
Decision: we accept to have a few ice cream while sharing it, and we learn the lesson that more than the food, what's important is that we're together and having fun.
