- 1st house upgrade: 3000G (16 stone, 18 lumber)

- Grilled Yam: 165G
- Blue Mist Seeds: 525G

BASICS
- Candace starts with 10AP
- She requires Daren's rainbow to unlock:
	> Both Hamilton cutscenes: Ship 3000G
	> First house upgrade: 3000G, 16 stone, 18 lumber
	> Oven (to cook the Good Herb Fish): 2550G
	> Ingredients: Grilled Yam (flea market), Apple (flea market), Good Herb Fish, Common Seashell, Carp
- Start with around 330G from the tutorial
- Herbal Tea seems to be a good gift for her too
- Blue Mist seeds must be bought later, in Fall, for 525G, but these are not required for Candace's arrival, just her request
- Blue Mist seeds must be unlocked by shipping at least 10000G
- Consider the Firefly Festival (Summer 24)
- You want to unlock her as early as possible, which is Summer 1. This requires you to buy at least the house upgrade, the oven, the apple, and the grilled yam by then. With 330G from the tutorial this means you need 5610G.
- Scavenger hunt items
	> Lapis Lazuli+Shining Flax: 920G
	> Shining Bamboo Shoot: 560G
	> Crystal: 700G
	> Rare Metal: 630G
	> Total: 2810G

CROP THEORYCRAFTING
- Start with 330G (tutorial money)
- Day 1: Collect Lapis Lazuli and Shining Flax, ship, and till field (=1250G)
- Day 2: Buy 13 potato seeds, do part-time work, till remaining field and plant all (14 rows)
- Yolo for rain. If potatoes sell for an average of 70G, you will earn 5880G. With the part-time work, this would leave you with ~6173G (6800G shipped). This is enough for the first house upgrade, the oven, the apple, and the grilled yam (5940G total).
- The potatoes must grow by Spring 21, so that they can be shipped in time for the flea market on Spring 22. If weeds add 1-2 days of growth, this would mean 5-6 rainy days between Spring 5 and Spring 21. Might be a bit tight.
- In theory, as a backup, you could do two PTWs at Souffle Farm to make sure you have the money to buy the Apple and the Grilled Yam, and really you don't have to harvest the potatoes by the end of Spring, as they will continue to grow in Summer (but more slowly).
- On the day of the flea market, obtain the fishing rod and collect the Common Seashell (assuming it spawns), then buy the Apple and Grilled Yam
- Complete Daren's rainbow, and Candace will move in either on Summer 1 or Summer 15
- Since you won't have any money for gifts at this point, you could theoretically do PTW at the Tailor to get affection with Candace (she gets +9). If not, then you will need to go out of your way to get the other scavenger hunt items early (Shining Bamboo Shoot, Crystal, and Rare Metal). Even then, it's not enough money to buy all the Herbal Teas, so you may need to do PTW at the Tailor regardless.
- On top of all that, you will still need 525G for the Blue Mist seeds, so PTW may be best.
- Turns out, crops take way too much stamina lol. At best, you might be able to plant 18-24 renewable crops, along with bag of potatoes from Ruth. Then as long as you had enough money for the flea market, you could use Summer to make the remainder of the money necessary to unlock the Blue Mist seeds by fall.
