She's a really happy-go-lucky type of person. She always goes around wearing a smile even though a lot of problems attack her. She has this really positive aura that and strives to make others feel great as well. Because she's expected to be cheerful, she can't easily tell the truth to her friends unless it seriously bothers her. In fact, just talking about her emotions to someone makes her a bit uncomfortable yet relieved. She's more used to others telling her their problems.

background:
She was born and grew up in Gyeonggi-do for most of her life. She wasn't born with a silver spoon, so she had a difficult time with her parents and sister. Her father was a doctor and her mother was a nurse, so she wouldn't expect moving unexpectedly to another district. Though, when she was 12, her parents decided to move to Seoul after finding another hospital to work in. There, she would find her love for poetry and hip-hop. She became obsessed with writing lyrics and producing simple songs.

After posting one of her songs, specifically the one with the most views, she got casted by Cube Entertainment, where she trained for 2 years. One of her practice videos was leaked, also in YouTube, in which SM took notice of it. After the offer SM gave to her, she quickly accepted it and is now training in SM.
