  49. Defenders of Ardanias innovative new game concepts include light
  50. RTS elements, taking the popular genre to the next level. Players
  51. must oversee unit production and upgrades while assembling the most
  52. effective army from one of three playable races, each with unique
  53. locations, towers, and units. However, without magic, a fantasy
  54. game is little more than a toothless lion (or dragon, rather), so a
  55. wide range of spells will be available for players to decimate
  56. their enemies and protect their forces.

  58. Although Defenders of Ardania includes a single-player portion, the
  59. focus of the game is undoubtedly multiplayer, where two to four
  60. players can take each other on or compete against AI opponents via
  61. Internet, LAN, or PSN. The multiplayer component offers three
  62. different game modes where players can assume either the defensive
  63. or offensive sides — or both!
