  1. Fan mon ideas! Based on the unused dual types as of gen 7!
  2. Why not gen 8?.. Well, I started thinking about my fan'mon ideas back in gen 7.
  3.
  4. In addition to this, there are other relatively underused types such as types exclusive to rotom, megas, legendaries and forms.
  5.
  6. (Unused Types:)
  7.
  8. Electric/Poison
  9. It resembles a large bipedal lizard with a top-heavy build. Think a build similar to Gabite with the proportions reversed, or looney toon's tasmanian devil... Thus it features moderately sized legs and relatively thick, long limbs. It might even be able to place its fists on the ground, akin to a gorilla in stance... Long tail with a thick tail base.
  10.
  11. It features an aerodynamic, lizard-like, pointed head and sharp eyes shaped at least like semi circles with the flat side pointed towards the forehead. It may have blade-like pseudo-ears that resemble knives in a way; they have a straight edge, then the other edge curves in near the base then curves out like a blade before forming a corner with the straight line.
  12.
  13. Its body is covered in yellow fur with jagged stripes of dark purple; three along each arm, two on each leg, three along its tail. Its back is covered in dark purple, which extends up to cover the crown of its head and extends down to cover half of the dorsal side of its tail, with a few lightning-shaped pointed streaks extending from this general area.
  14.
  15. Two of these streaks lead out from the purple area at behind its shoulders, travel between its shoulders and neck and end at the chest area. Another pair of streaks extends from the purple back area at waist weight or higher and steps short of forming a loop... Its fur is untidy and jagged looking.
  16.
  17. Extending from the fur are various hollow spines of various lengths. It has a couple prominent ones, such as three on each arm, six on its back and six on its tail. The rest are a third of the length of its prominent ones and are scattered about.
  18.
  19. Its fur can stand up like a jolteon's with electricity, including the hollow spines. These spines are capable of injecting battery acid.
  20.
  21. History| This pokemon used to eat poisonous fruit, highly acidic natural substances and scavenged for sources of electricity such as storms and thunder stones. However, in recent years, it has changed its habitat to the cities and its diet has been replaced entirely with batteries as a source of powerful acid and electricity.
  22.
  23. Its pre-evolution is a small stocky quadrupedal lizard with similar features. Its face is less pointy and more rounded.
  24.
  25. This pokemon doesn't have a name yet. It's otherwise called the "Juicer Pokemon". Juice is slang for electrical power and refers to the fact that it used to eat berries.
  26.
  27. It's 8'02" and 455 pounds.
  28.
  29. Statwise: High physical attack (100 - 130) middling speed to mid-high speed (70 - 95) - relatively balanced otherwise.
  30.
  31. Abilities: Poison point, volt absorb.
  32.
  33. It has a secret evolution that's Dark/Poison with levitate... It's extremely dark and underhanded though.
  34.
  35. ---
  36.
  37. Fairy/Poison
  38. It resembles a small bipedal creature drawing inspiration from poison dart frogs and newts, more resembling a newt than a frog. Its proportions are fairly lithe, slim or skinny, with a lack of bulk, tone or bone. Its legs and arms are the most frog based parts of it, though they should be slim, perhaps slimmer than its tail.
  39.
  40. Its head is rather Newt-like. Overall, it should be cute and feminine to some degree.
  41.
  42. Its body is entirely two shades of pink, a lighter shade and a darker shade, but both are relatively vibrant, saturated and warm. The darker shade makes up most of its dorsal sides; back, tail dorsal, arm dorsals, head dorsal half, etc. While the lighter colour takes up the ventral sides to all of its body parts. Its eyes are azure or sky.
  43.
  44. The only exception to this is the lighter pink plus symbol covering the crown/forehead.
  45.
  46. Its skin is incredibly smooth and slick to the touch. While partially based on a lizard, it does not have scales.
  47.
  48. History| This pokemon is a fickle of a creature. Within its body are many toxins, but also many cures. However, it can apply something considered to be a cure in an enormous amount, making it a poison, likewise, it knows some secrets, some poisons applied in an amount so small that they can cure certain conditions... It is thought that this pokemon can cure almost any ailment and can even extend lifespan.
  49.
  50. It has no pre-evolution. It 'might' have an evolution.
  51.
  52. This pokemon doesn't have a name yet. It's otherwise called the "Overdose Pokemon". It is based on the fickle side of fairy culture and the fact that too much of anything is poison... As well as the possibility that some 'poisons' might actually be helpful when applied a certain way, in a certain amount or under specific conditions.
  53.
  54. It's 1'00" and weighs 1.1 pounds.
  55.
  56. Statwise: Low physical attack (10), high special attack (100 - 130), high speed (100 - 130), fragile.
  57.
  58. Abilities: Poison touch, Technician, Healer.
  59.
  60. ---
  61.
  62. Psychic/Poison
  63. Stage1: It's a small snake. Due to its short length, its body is relatively thick, comparable to Dratini in proportion... All of its features are snake-like. It does not have a rattle tail, hood or frills of any kind... Pose-wise, it holds only its head off of the ground and a bit, most of its body is on the ground.
  64.
  65. Its body is mostly a leaf green colour with a lighter shade for the underbelly, starting from encompassing its lower jaw and ending at the tip of its tail.
  66.
  67. Its eyes are especially notable, they consist of a dark magenta sclera, an orange iris and an orange ring separate from the iris. This ring is hypnotic whenever it glows.
  68.
  69. History| The gaze of this snake is hypnotic. Any eye contact with the hypnotic part of its eyes allows it to force its target to dance against their will, unless their will is particularly strong or something more compelling is involved like avoiding harm in self or others, or needing to save a loved one. Exhaustion and anhedonia can also keep someone from dancing. They can feed on the excess energy of anyone who is forced to dance... For the most part, they're harmless. However, do not try to threaten it as it can defend itself with a neurotoxic bite, spit and other psychic abilities.
  70.
  71. It has one evolution and no pre-evolution.
  72.
  73. This pokemon doesn't have a name yet. It's otherwise called the "Involuntary Pokemon". It is based on the hypnotic snake, which is somehow popular around the world and on the internet especially. Otherwise, it's a psychic snake with a neurotoxic bite.
  74.
  75. It's 2'00" and weighs 3.1 pounds.
  76.
  77. Statwise: Its a fairly mild pre-evo, though it does have high speed for a pre evo.
  78.
  79. Abilities: Dazzle
  80.
  81. |
  82.
  83. Stage 2: The snake becomes much longer and holds about half of its body up. It becomes more like a naga, developing humanoid lizard arms in line with a subtle torso, but not legs. Its hands are sharply clawed.
  84.
  85. It gains wings akin to a traditional dragon. They should join its body at a similar point to where its shoulders are present on its body.
  86.
  87. Its colour stays similar or darker, the underbelly colour is now a darker shade of the main body colour.
  88.
  89. Its eyes are the same in design, down to the hypnotic component.
  90.
  91. History| This snake is very dangerous, increase distance from it at all costs regardless of distance. In addition to a stronger hypnotic ability, it telekinetically controls a strong poisonous, invisible mist that can be used to melt the insides of targets and reshape them accordingly to its every wish. This time, willpower and strong compulsions cannot be used as a means of resistance at all. It feeds on the dying will power of anyone who tries to resist and fails... It evolves from its previous form when its previous form is gluttonous in personality, yet starving, immensely so.
  92.
  93. Its pre-evolution is the previous. It has no evolution.
  94.
  95. This pokemon is called Revenaga; Revere+Naga. It's otherwise called the "Enslavement Pokemon". Its inspirations are the same; a somehow famous hypnotic snake that everyone talks about. Otherwise, it's a psychic snake with a neurotoxic bite and this time, aura.
  96.
  97. It's 14'09" long and weighs 210 pounds.
  98.
  99. Statwise: 145 HP, speed and special attack. 50 physical defence, special defence and physical attack.
  100.
  101. Abilities: Dazzle
  102.
  103. Signature move: Mind poison - Psychic, special, 95 power, 100% accuracy move with a 35% chance to poison.
  104.
  105. ---
  106.
  107. Steel/Poison
  108. Most of its body resembles a metallic ovaloid, similar in overall shape to a pill. It doesn't draw much inspiration from any animal in particular, with the closest ones being a bat and a dog, with the latter only really serving as part of its demeanour. Its body otherwise has four short cones that serve as its legs and another that serves as its tail.
  109.
  110. Its head is not distinct and it does not have a neck. Instead, its facial features are on its body, shown by a glowing magenta jagged mouth, oval-shaped eyes and nearby triangles that serve as its ears, swept back and almost level with its body.
  111.
  112. It has wings that are bony in shape, but not in texture or material. Its wing membranes are only partially filled in by crisscrossing webs of material here and there.
  113.
  114. Its entire body in texture and material resembles mercury, a shiny blob of silver.
  115.
  116. History| This pokemon is incredibly friendly, cheerful and optimistic. It stands at the absolute pinnacle of optimism... However, its body is quite poisonous in a number of ways, though through self control, it can make itself safe to touch and be around. Otherwise, it is worth going to (insert)-corp to apply a specialised suit to its body that will give it much greater control and safety, allowing it to only threaten those that it considers to be threats.
  117.
  118. It has no pre-evolution or evolution planned.
  119.
  120. This pokemon doesn't have a name. It's otherwise called the "Mercury Pokemon". Its inspiration is mercury, explaining its type, body composition and possibly demeanour to some degree by being made of the only metal that's liquid at room temperature. Mercury has the lowest melting point and boiling point of any metal.
  121.
  122. It's 3'00" tall and weighs 2204.4 pounds - According to a source, if this pokemon is solid mercury, it weighs about this much.
  123.
  124. Statwise: Relatively balanced stats with a peak in HP.
  125.
  126. Abilities: Levitate
  127.
  128. ---
  129.
  130. Rock/Ghost
  131. Its body resembles a symbolic eye. Overall, its body is flat and disk-like with grooves and engravings that make it resemble a half closed eye from the front, with its implied iris being a large narrow oval shape... It's like its body has been carved from a stone disk.
  132.
  133. Material-wise, it's based on sandstone.
  134.
  135. Its body is surrounded by a purplish vortex and a ring or more of flowing sand; a circle with sharp triangular points jutting out from it to convey rapid motion.
  136.
  137. Its physical inspirations come from planet Gravitas from the game serious Meteos and the eye of horus, among other eye things, as well as the pokemon Unown.
  138.
  139. History| In an ancient civilisation, it was made as an idol designed to bring good, safe and restorative sleep, as well as protection and calm weather. It suddenly came to life during a massive tornado event and flew into the eye of the storm. In an instant, it absorbed the tornado... Within its ancient body are the wills of millions of humans and pokemon... This pokemon has strong ghostly powers over sleep, protection and storms.
  140.
  141. It has no pre-evolution or evolution planned.
  142.
  143. This pokemon doesn't have a name. It's otherwise called the "Eye Pokemon". Its inspiration is mostly covered by its physical design inspiration, the eye of Horus. It may or may not draw inspiration from other eye-based objects in history. It is also inspired by the term 'eye of the storm'... Oddly enough, I first came up with this pokemon while rubbing sleep(sand) from my eyes, which originally made me consider ground/ghost.
  144.
  145. It's 3'00" tall and weighs 21.8 pounds.
  146.
  147. Statwise: It is a complete tank. Slow, not very damaging, high stats in health, defence and special defence.
  148.
  149. Abilities: Wind absorb - When targeted by any wind-based move, it gains stages; +1 defence, +1 special defence. This includes wind moves it's immune to such as razor wind.
  150.
  151. ---
  152.
  153. Bug/Dark
  154. Stage 1: This is the larval stage of a three stage bug type. Its body consists of four main black spheres spheres with its eyes and fangs on the front sphere, four of its legs being on the second-front sphere and the last two being on the sphere before that. From front to back, the sphere descend slightly in size.
  155.
  156. All of its appendages are relatively short and cylinder-like in design, though all of them are bent at the middle by 90 degrees traditionally. All of them are coloured yellow with red tips, including its six legs and its fangs.
  157.
  158. Its eyes are red circles with oval/circle shaped black dots for eyes. Like a visor, the two eyes are connected together across the forehead by a narrow red streak.
  159.
  160. It mouth is represented by a line that extends between its front fangs.
  161.
  162. History| These bug type pokemon often hide underground and come out only at night for they're sensitive to the light to the point that they can die from too much exposure. They feed on the remains of anything that was once alive, as well as fungi.
  163.
  164. It evolves to the next pokemon on this list.
  165.
  166. This pokemon doesn't have a name. It's otherwise called the "Crawler Pokemon". Its inspiration is simple, it's a creepy crawly.
  167.
  168. It's 0'06" long and weighs 0.5 pounds.
  169.
  170. Statwise: It's a larval stage bug. Expect low stats... Its highest stat is speed and that's only 45, followed by attack.
  171.
  172. Abilities: Intimidate
  173.
  174. |
  175.
  176. Stage 2: Most of its body is concealed within a vortex-shaped cocoon. This cocoon consists of various hard materials originating from other animals such as exoskeletons in particular. The cocoon is almost constructed like a bird's nest, only the twigs are replaced with long rectangular shards woven into a conical vortex shape. Pose-wise, it is rested on its side like a knocked-over cone; not on its face or point.
  177.
  178. Most of it is lavender coloured, though there are streaks of yellow found throughout the cocoon.
  179.
  180. Its eyes are visible in the otherwise dark shadow that makes up the face of the cocoon. Its eyes are mostly the same in design from the previous stage, though the narrow red streak curves into an arch to resemble the original design, only on a relatively flat surface instead of being on a sphere.
  181.
  182. It has the ability to pull its cocoon shut by with four limbs extending from the darkness, gripping the corners of it.
  183.
  184. History| This bug type has armed itself with the fallen remains of its surroundings, particularly other bugs. Somehow, it secretes a substance that holds its cocoon together, strengthens it, preserves it and even heals it from damage. This substance also protects it from the light, so unlike its larval pre-evolution, it is not photosensitive... This substance that it creates has many other applications that serve the bug type in its survival.
  185.
  186. It evolves from the previous pokemon on the list and evolves to the next pokemon on this list.
  187.
  188. This pokemon doesn't have a name. It's otherwise called the "Scavenger Pokemon". Its inspirations are the same as before, but also takes a note from how some bugs construct cocoons or defences out of dead bugs. Otherwise, its inspirations are in its design.
  189.
  190. It's 2'06" long and weighs 45 pounds
  191.
  192. Statwise: Base 5 speed, some defences, more physical attack than special attack.
  193.
  194. Abilities: Intimidate
  195.
  196. |
  197.
  198. Stage 3:...
  199.
  200. ---
  201.
  202. Grass/Fire
  203.
  204. ---
  205.
  206. Dark/Fairy
  207.
  208. ---
  209.
  210. (Possible multiform pokemon with various dragon dualtypes)
  211.
  212. ---
  213.
  214. (Rotom's unique types:)
  215.
  216. Grass/Electric
  217.
  218. ---
  219.
  220. Fire/Electric
  221.
  222. ---
  223.
  224. Ice/Electric
  225.
  226. ---
  227.
  228. Ghost/Electric
  229.
  230. ---
  231.
  232. (Legend/mega exclusive types)
  233.
  234. Water/Fire
  235. It resembles a salamander mixed with a monitor lizard in general shape. However, it is made of a gelatinous, translucent blue sludge that is often shaped like fire or at least pointed and flowing in a form that implies that it is fire-like or resembles fire. Its overall pose is low to the ground.
  236.
  237. Its head is mostly in line with its body like an alligator or crocodile, though it can raise it a bit. Otherwise, its head is wide and a bit flat.
  238.
  239. It should look monstrous enough to be described as a monster or kaiju.
  240.
  241. Its limbs are thick and end in large, sharp claws.
  242.
  243. Its body glows or at least gleams, it should appear hot to the touch or at least unusual like a sulfur pool.
  244.
  245. Other physical inspirations come from; Bluemeramon (digimon) Salamandermon (digimon), Chaos (sonic the hedgehog) and plasm wraith and water wraith (Pikmin)
  246.
  247. History| This pokemon is found in various forests, particularly forests with lots of available water either by rain or by rivers and lakes. Its body can absorb fire and water alike for energy, in which it often drains the moisture from something that it touches before setting it alight by focusing light through its body like a magnifying glass... Despite eating fire and water, its body feels cold yet dry to the touch, only raising its temperature and jetting water or fire when it needs to defend itself.
  248.
  249. It may have a pre-evolution that is similar in design, only massively scaled down, less monstrous and more younger looking.
  250.
  251. This pokemon doesn't have a name. It's otherwise called the "Gel Pokemon". Its inspirations are mostly the same as its physical inspirations as well as thinking about less conventional ways that water and fire could coexist on a single pokemon without simply making them steam or hot water
  252.
  253. It's 5'03" and weighs 200 pounds
  254.
  255. Statwise - Bulky attacker with no specialisation. 50 speed.
  256.
  257. Ability - Water absorb, flash fire, (Hidden) Steam engine.
  258.
  259. Move - Scorch-Dry - Fire, Special, 70 power, 100% accuracy, 10% chance to burn, super effects water.
  260.
  261. ---
  262.
  263. ---
  264.
  265. This segment is dedicated to types that have already been done before.
  266.
  267. (Reused types)
  268.
  269. Water/Psychic
  270. Dolphin- WIP
  271.
  272. Ground/Bug
  273. It always belonged to such a weak pokemon such as Wormadam or Nincada... How about a strong burrowing bug? WIP
  274.
  275. Psychic/Rock
  276. Perhaps a pokemon that can channel energy out from rocks, similar to Grumpig. Once again, type belongs exclusively to weak pokemon. WIP
