The purpose of the paper is:
Analysis of broadband networks of Novosibirsk region

Tasks:
1. Justification of the technologies chosen by JSC "Sibirtelecom" for the building of broadband networks;
2. Hardware overview of broadband networks;
3. Analysis and research on the causes of hardware failures.
4. Development of recommendations to improve the efficiency of providing broadband access.

Main results:
1. Issues of using GPON and ADSL technologies were examined and appropriate conclusions were drawn
2. Algorithms of fault isolation and troubleshooting processes were developed
3. Recommendations were made for improvement the operation and maintenance of broadband networks
