  1. What's your favorite scary movie? The question caused the dark hues of Selina Kyle to roll. Fingertips carefully bringing several butter-coated pieces of popcorn to her lips. Hues focused on the movie that played on the television. The room was darkened, aside from the light that came from the tv screen. Glancing over at the black cat that was curled up next to her thigh, she smirked. "What's your favorite scary movie, Isis?" She questioned with a small laugh. Carefully scratching behind the ears of the black cat resulting in a soft purring. The screams that came from the movie caught Selina's attention, a soft smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "And that is why you never walk away from an open door. That's how the killer always gets in the house." She mused. Pulling her legs up, she laid a blanket over her lap. Completely unaware of the horror that was occurring at the same time as the movie... The knife cut deep into her skin, the crimson liquid quickly spilling out of the wound, along with her intestines. Maniacal laughter filled the room as the life slowly drained out of his victim. "One down. Five more to go."

  3. "Corn syrup. Same stuff they used for pigs blood in the movie Carrie." The line echoed throughout the dark room. The two black cats curled up on the couch, completely unconscious. The sound of her phone ringing, caused the dark-haired beauty to wake with a jump. Her heart racing within her chest. "F***ing Hell." She mumbled under her breath. Fingertips gently pushed a few strands of dark locks out of her face. Reaching over she picked up the phone, swiping right on the green button. "Hello?" She questioned. Her voice raspy from sleep. "Barbara, what's going on?" She questioned. It was hard to understand the woman in between the sobs. Quickly sitting up straight, she licked her lower lip. "When?" Quickly getting up she walked over towards the window and quickly locked it. "Have you called, Dinah?" Setting the phone down, she placed her friend on speaker before beginning to check her apartment. "I can't seem to get a hold of her or Ollie. Selina, I'm starting to get really worried." A soft sigh spilled from her soft plump lips. "Let me see if I can go and find them." Walking over towards the closet she pulled out the red leather jacket. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" The worry and concern eminent in Barbara's voice. "Listen, babybat." The moniker that Batgirl eventually chose to quit fighting and just accept it. "I'm no safer here than I am searching for everyone's favorite couple. I promise I'll call you as soon as I get to Star City. Make sure to keep yourself safe."

  5. Pressing the red button on the screen, she ended the call before Barbara could argue any further. Pulling on a pair of black jeans followed by a pair of combat boots, fingertips reached over and grabbed the leather jacket she had pulled out of the closet. There was no way that this was a coincidence. A warm chill ran down her spine, causing her skin to prickle. Biting down on the soft pink flesh of her lower lip, she let out a soft breath in an attempt to calm her nerves. Sliding the red material over her arms, Selina grabbed her back and helmet before quickly making her way out of her apartment. Keeping a quick pace, she dialed Dinah's number. 'Come on. Come on." She whispered, taking the stairs to her apartment two at a time. "Sh*t." The blonde's pre-recorded voice message played back in her ear. Taking a breath she rolled her dark hues. "Dinah. I need you to call me back as soon as you get this. It's urgent."

  7. Pulling the strap of her bag over her other shoulder, tightening it so the small backpack stuck close to her frame she attempted Oliver. Fingertips gripped the keys as she made her way to the black motorcycle stashed on the side of her apartment building. Blending perfectly with the shadows. A tactic that she had picked up from the bats. "Oliver?!" Surprise had caught the cat off guard, though relief quickly washed over her frame. " Is Dinah with you?" She questioned quickly. "What do you mean you don't know?" Frustration quickly replaced the relief that she had just felt. Fingertips pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm on my way to Star City, Robin Hood. We need to find her quickly." Swallowing hard she paused. Oliver was no fool and was aware that something was going on. And there was no way in hell he was going to allow her to end the call without giving him some answers. "Gypsy and Onyx have been murdered. Nearly sliced in half." She whispered quietly, glancing around the alley as she hitched her leg over the motorcycle.

  9. "Babs and I have both tried reaching Dinah. She feels that the rest of the Birds aren't safe." It didn't help the fact that Onyx had currently been staying in Gotham City. Putting Selina in even more danger. "Let me know if you locate her, okay? I'll see you in a bit." Ending the phone call she slid her phone on the inside pocket of her jacket before pulling the helmet over her head. Starting up the bike, she revved the engine for a few seconds before taking off down the alleyway and turned onto the streets of Gotham City. Knuckles turned white from the tight grip on the throttle. It was definitely a drive to Star City, so Oliver had to find Dinah and make sure that she was safe. If Barbara was right, then either one of them could be the next potential target. They were going to have to stick together in order to survive.
