- The party fought their way through swaths of deeplings.
- The enthralled skeletal giant, Aal-Guulûl, summoned a platform for them to descend.
- Down below, they found even more droneguards and drones. Below them was a sea of the creatures' acidic waste. They once again came out victorious.
- Further below, and fighting their way through yet more of the deeplings, they found their queen. It was a hideous, misshapen creature. They devised a plan, carefully examining her weak points. The Spider Queen and Aal-Guulûl were to create a diversion while Mira, Vasileios, and Luna were to strike at the Queen's blind spots. The Queen herself was not blind, but was extremely limited in motion.
- Their plan worked with brilliant efficacy. The Queen and her foul spawn lie vanquished, and the Circlet of Living Ice, which formerly lay in a waste pit inside the Queen, was now in Mira's hands.
