It's often wrapped up in their status as being outside of core Europe, so they glom onto ideologies like duginism which cast the memes of the core in bad light (same reason people are often natsocs) and it makes their connection to the third world ever stronger. Because all they can say is that their people arent as decadent and are more authentic, which is pretty much prog propaganda for the third world but for the second world.
