  1. This isn't quite a New Year's Resolutions list, it is more like a wishlist. I can resolve and expect so much from myself, but I know things change, plans change, people change, and sometimes people don't change. This isn't what I will do in 2018, this is my hypothetical wish for what might happen.
  2.
  3. - Get back into speedrunning on a more consistent basis
  4.
  5. I've really been slacking lately on both my runs and watching others' runs. I'm hoping AGDQ will kickstart some motivation within me to go back to the things I can improve. I also want to be a more prominent figure in the community rather than this ghost that makes occasionally funny tweets near anonymously. Which means streaming more, and I don't care how many viewers I get or support from chat, I just want to be more of a person who can share their gaming experiences online like that.
  6.
  7. - Be a more social person
  8.
  9. On the note of sharing more of my gaming through streaming, I also want to be a more social person in real life. I'm usually quiet and I like it that way around me too, but I have friends I rarely see or talk to. And since I moved across the water, I haven't gone out as much as I used to with other people. I want to be able to hang out with people and do stuff without thinking about social batteries or scheduling against work. And maybe even meet new people too.
  10.
  11. - Be healthier to an extent
  12.
  13. I was doing fine at the start of the year since I was biking around everywhere due to not having a car. Now with one, I don't bike anymore because I find it difficult to motivate myself to do so without some productive goal. I hope this new year I can motivate myself to find ways to incorporate bike riding and other healthy things into my life. I wouldn't mind losing some weight too, although I'm not terribly overweight or anything. I probably can't lose more than 30 pounds before I start to become unhealthy in some fashion.
  14.
  15. - Finish more projects
  16.
  17. I have no problem setting myself up to start projects. The main issue I seem to have is completing them. If I could figure out how to stay the course and see something through enough times to feel accomplished through the year, I would be happy if I still left some things unfinished. And speaking of projects, I want to fully realize the big project by the end of the year. The story I've been writing all this past year will hopefully start to take form through art in some form hopefully.
  18.
  19. - Enjoy work more
  20.
  21. This year has ended on a bit of a bittersweet note for my work. I quit one of my jobs I was not happy at. I'm not worried since I work elsewhere, but the feeling of not being happy at work is worrisome. I certainly don't like being stuck in situations that make me miserable, and unfortunately one of my workplaces had that feeling to it. I want to find the silver lining in my work more often. Theater can be a frustrating and demanding thing sometimes, but I just wish to find a path through all that to be happy with the work I take part in and the part I play.
  22.
  23.
  24.
  25. And that's about it I suppose. I have a lot to look forward to in the next year. I hope you do too. And I hope I can meet these expectations that I have, and now you have too I guess, of what I should become in the next year.
