Fallout 4 Mod List (1-13-18)

Notes: Anything without an index to the left, means it is not loaded in the load order for the game, with the exception of ESL Mods. ESL Mods are a newer addition that is automatically merged and take up the 255th slot, which is otherwise the max ... sort of. I can get the game to launch and play just fine with up to 257 or 258 mods. More and it usually crashes. So technically, you can have more than 255 mods, where 254 is the limit (certainly the case with Fallout 3, NV, TeS 3, 4 and 5.), and any number of ESL mods are merged into the 255th slot. This is also the same for Skyrim Special Edition.

My load order has 45 ESL plugins, and I still had tons of trouble getting the load order under 254 with the mods I wanted to run. I ended up only merging Patches and very small, 1 job or 1 item mods (which wasn't many).
