  1. Beast-Blooded Creatures are creatures that have been suffused with the power of The Blood, but are not warped or tainted by Titan Corruption.
  2.
  3. Creating a Beast-Blooded Creature
  4. “Beast-Blooded” is an inherited template that can be added to any animal or humanoid that is not already Beast-Blooded (referred to hereafter as the base creature). A Beast-Blooded creature retains all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.
  5.
  6. CR: Same as the base creature +3.
  7.
  8. Size and Type: If the base creature is Tiny or smaller, increase its size to Small. Otherwise, increase its size by one size category. The Beast-Blooded creature does not gain the benefits or penalties to ability scores that arise from increased size. The Beast-Blooded creature gains the Beast subtype.
  9.
  10. Weaknesses: The Beast-Blooded creature gains a weakness to fire and silver. If the base creature was immune to fire, the Beast-Blooded creature instead gains Fire Resistance 50 as well as these weaknesses.
  11.
  12. AC: Natural armor increases by +5. If the base creature has no natural armor bonus, it gains a natural armor bonus of +5. This bonus stacks with the bonus gained from the increase in size.
  13.
  14. Hit Dice: If the Beast-Blooded creature is Small, it has a number of Hit Dice equal to the base creature +1 (minimum of 2 HD). If the Beast-Blooded creature is Medium, it has a number of Hit Dice equal to the base creature +3 (minimum of 4 HD). If the Beast-Blooded creature is Large or larger it has a number of Hit Dice equal to double the base creature (minimum of 6 HD). Only recalculate base attack bonus and base saves according to the dire creature’s new Hit Dice total if the base creature possesses no class levels (base attack bonus equals 3/4 Hit Dice, Fort and Ref equal 1/2 Hit Dice +2, Will equals 1/3 Hit Dice).
  15.
  16. Special Scaling: If the base creature possesses class levels, substitute their levels in place of HD for things such as Breath Attacks that scale off of HD.
  17.
  18. Feats: Calculate feat progression according to the new HD of the Beast-Blooded creature, even if the base creature possessed class levels. All feats gained in such a way are treated as Bonus Feats and may only be chosen from a list of feats related to Beasts or Monster Feats.
  19.
  20. Speed: Same as the base creature +10 ft.
  21.
  22. Attacks: Adjust damage dice of all natural attacks upwards to the Beast-Blooded creature’s new size according to the natural attack progression table.
  23.
  24. Special Attacks: Increase the damage dice for any special attacks to its new size (usually by on step).
  25.
  26. Abilities: Str +8, Dex +2, Con +8, Wis +4 and Cha +4.
