  56. When the Stargate team goes to see Ba'al, the last of the System Lords, being extracted from his host. All of a sudden, Tealc, Vala and all of their allies start to vanish. Later Carter, Daniel, and Mitchell try to escape through the Stargate but find themselves not on earth but on a ship trapped beneath the polar ice cap. They learn they are on the freighter that was delivering the Stargate found in Egypt in 1939 to America. The ship is about to sink and they evacuate. They are picked up by a submarine and brought to a Naval Base where they learn the SG project never happened. They try to warn the government that the Gouald might attack earth. But the government doesn't believe and tells them that they're being released and given new identities and not to talk to each other or about their previous alternate timeline . One year later, the Gouald attack and the government asks for their help.
  57. Ba'al travels back in time and prevents the Stargate program from being started. SG-1 must somehow restore history.
  58. Fan since the SG1 movie! It is good to see all the 'old faces', but too much yakking and not enough action. If the ship was seaworthy enough to float, where did the water come from? Jackson's solution-artificial leg, seen when he calls himself. How did the C4 blast a chimney and how did they get up it? If they couldn't contact each other, how was Cam able to call Sam then call Jackson? The scene in the chamber with the warriors, reminded me of the Imps in Doom. Why didn't SG1 have the mini Chapp'i power source earlier? Why didn't Cam's appearance in 1939 create a time paradox? Too many open ends and assumptions. Entertaining, anyway. Glad I bought it at discount. Lunatic1-1
  59. I didn&#39;t go into watching this with any real expectations, like I did previously with The Arc of Truth. So once that was out of the way, I really liked this movie.<br/><br/>The acting was a big step up, more like what the series was like. The jokes and lines that the main actors and the other actors delivered didn&#39;t fall flat. I was glad to see that, since I was so disappointed with that in the previous movie. It was a decent return to form.<br/><br/>The cinematography was well shot and the soundtrack was pretty well done. Both of these things added to the overall feel of the movie.<br/><br/>As for the plot, it was rather simple... but it was still good enough and kept me interested in watching the movie.<br/><br/>I recommend this film over The Arc of Truth. It&#39;s worth the watch.
