[21:11] Nym was quiet, but accepted the hug nonetheless. Her smile turned into a satisfied (:3) with Adonis' head resting atop her own. She recognized now he wasn't asking her to go to Huangzhou, so her concern for such a confrontation was lessened.

But she would totally attack Isaac if she ever saw him in person.

[21:14] With a shift in Nym's demeanor, Adonis too peps up a bit. His face shifts to resemble a

But he is entirely focused on the conversation at hand.

" Start by reading over the notes she gave in class. I want you to find and identify one runescribing of each element on the weapons of those in Gehenna! You'll start to see the difference between them. After you've done that, we'll get started on the nine hundred pages in the tome. "

[21:16] So, reading was involved, alright then.

A simple nod escaped him and he moved away from the couple. The fact that they are making those types of faces only made him worry that much more about the sanity of the two. Who knew that they can make such faces.

"Got it."

He had to identify the many tools in Gehenna, and figure them out with the help of his notes. It was that simple, right? Not like it will take forever - he could probably do it in a day. Luckily, he found victim number one, Adar.

"Hey, Adar," he moved forth with his right hand out, "let me see your staff."

[21:19] "Are you teaching him wayfinding?" Adar listlessly inquired of Adonis, quirking a brow without much enthusiasm.

"I've been trying to get a hold of you for that same matter earlier."

His eyes then trailed to the recreative gender-bender in silence, as if waiting for him to realize by himself. Ultimately, after a few seconds of eerie silence, he made his case sternly.

"I don't use a staff."

[21:19] Adonis Lelhua says, "... Yeah, actually. You can take the same task he is."
[21:21] "You have something," he added rather quickly. "You don't just cast magic with your eyes without having a conduit to it. So, let me see whatever you have so I can try to figure it out, please!"

Yoshi was in a rush to get this as done and as quick as possible. He didn't like wasting the time he needed if he could avoid it. If he could pay him for it, he would, but his pouch was running empty.

[21:23] Vetani zeroes in with a stare of a thousand suns, intent clear as day. However, it doesn't seem to fall on a specific person...

[21:26] After Yasuyoshi had restated his goal, the navigator sighed with mild exasperation. Then, offering a light nod to Adonis, he threw a counter offer.

"Fine, but you'll show me your conduit too."

Reaching into his side-holster, Adar slid off what appeared to be an old, rusty artifact. A vaguely readable graduated arc, a telescope eyepiece, an index mirror, and several glass filters surrounded by worn out hieroglyphics and engravings was revealed.

Handing it over without much care, the scholar handed over his orichalcum sextant. Then beckoned over his.

"Be careful with it."

He didn't take his time, instead he quickly grabbed it and looks at it entirely. It was readable and evident, but the amazing detail caught his attention first. However, he was focusing on the thing that was important - the rune. He was intently focused on finding it and remembering the runes that were there.

A couple of moments passed before he found 'two' engravings. One was the Magic Glyph that was shaped properly with a circle around it. On the other, it was shaped and lettered like Fire. It was easy, for he had similar on his own conduit.

"You have an exalted Fire Rune, and a glyph of magic," he said with pride.

He handed it over with ease, placing it in his hands again. It was time for him to follow suit with it.

One hand moved over to the arcanium hand of his, simply moving it to the left, letting the unscrews come off akin to a gauntlet. Dropping down was simple, little chains as he handed it overto him with ease. It was light, after all.

Arcanium claws, three of them, rested on the Arcanium gauntlet. And the very middle one was already brewing fire as if it was ready to pierce and mark.

"Here you go."

[21:38] His eyes listlessly yet obsessively peered over and around the light, agile piece of gear. The craft in itself was palpably similar to some of Adar's gear, making some of the quirks in engraving easily identifiable.

"Arcanium, isn't it?" He'd observe, flailing his gaze around and about spastically, peering into each and every corner. The scriptures were noticeably similar, as well.

"Same as mine, correct? A fire rune - and a magic glyph. Both exalted." He'd go above an beyond with his observations, however. Almost boasting his deduction ability.

"This has been polished not too long ago." Adar was just pushing it, bluff or not. He believed every word he'd say.

"Garrick made this, didn't he?"

[21:42] "Accurate on all accounts."

His hands moved to clutch at the hand-gauntlet, putting it back on. The mithril prosthetic accepting it before ti twisted and turned itself properly so the nerves and it can be friends. It hurt, but pain was progress in it's own way.

"So, we've figured out magic glyph, and fire rune. Now we need to find another."

That was when he turned his gaze to Vetani, and he gracefully hovered over with his hands out to accept their weapon. They were always the helpful one, so them saying no wouldn't be likely either, right?

"Hey~ Vetani, I could -really- use your help right now. I have to memorize the language of the runes, so I can learn something different. However, I need to figure out the symbols of weaponry in Gehenna, and since you do you use magic and have a conduit, can I see yours?"

He now waited a reply, and hopefully a stave so he can examine it all the same.

[21:43] Adar says, "Famfrit."
[21:43] Adar says, "Let me see your hammer."
[21:44] Famfrit asks, "Why?"
[21:44] Adar says, "Because you borrowed 1500 coin from me a few years ago."
[21:44] Adar says, "No, I need to see your hammer, Famfrit."
[21:44] Adar says, "I'm already rich."
[21:44] Famfrit says, "Look."
[21:44] Famfrit says, "Don't"
[21:44] Famfrit says, "Touch."
[21:46] Truth be told, Vetani had started spacing out during the proceedings. She hadn't wanted to interrupt, after all!

There seemed to be something on Vetani's mind. Her hands twitch even whilst holding the drum.

Her drum... that's the conduit that Vetani always speaks of. A curved cane on one hand, and a handle that curves into a circular drum of metal, glossy with paint and loving maintenance that Vetani cares for on the thing.

Common theme... people are touchy with their valuables.

"..."

She trusts Yasuyoshi, that's the first step. She slowly opens her mouth.

"Can you buy me... one elixir of healing...? It's for an expedition..."

[21:51] "I...don't have money but hopefully it goes well."

It saddneded him, but when he was offered the magical drum, he looks around it to find the rune and the glyph of this one as well. He took his time however, and he expected the rune to be something related to sound or something of the metaphysics.

Instead, what he found was something unfamiliar.

A shiny, yellow glow came across and he focused his eyes upon it. It was right next to the Exalted Magical Glyph that he noticed on other weapons and it only took him a few seconds of understanding his homework to see. He was proud of it as he spoke;

"Holy Runes, Magical Glyphs. Amazing."

Afterwards, he handed it over to go over to Famfrit's weapon. As much as he disliked him at the moment, he wouldn't just stop him from learning something interesting, right?

[21:54] Adonis Lelhua says, "Keep it up. We'll go over the next step tomorrow."
[21:54] Yasuyoshi says, "OK."
[21:54] Adonis Lelhua says, "I might just host a class, truth be told."
[21:54] Vetani says, "Hmn... tomorrow."
[21:54] Adonis Lelhua says, "But it wouldn't be boring."
[21:54] Yasuyoshi says, "Could work."
[21:54] Kneeling down without sprouting any palpable emotion, Adar feints reaching out to grab a hold of the hammer, but leans his weight down prone.

Famfrit's famed hammer. A weapon to have seen many lives taken, surely. More noticeably, the aura of grief emanating from it would be caught by the navigator first and foremost, causing him to hum ponderously.

Eyeballing the arcanium piece for a solid dozen seconds, he went ahead with his observations.

"Exalted Wind Rune. Exalted Magic Glyph…" A small pause would be made as he ascertained the other inscriptions with himself. "I don't know what this symbol is."

Adar points towards the "§".

"This is clearly not from Garrick's hand."

Then, uninterestedly, he turns on his heel, disregarding Famfrit completely.

"Adonis - what now?" Assertively, the scholar would rush the next step. Then, humming with sly disdain, he nods.

[21:55] Vetani says, "Today or tomorrow, then it'll be time."
[21:55] Adonis nods a few times and turns to depart!

Vetani is handed a healing elixir as he goes.
