- The wall she leaned on shuddered suddenly, and as she stepped back she saw the solid wall part into a manufactured doorway so Sylar could step through. She raised her shotgun, but Sylar raised his arm faster, and purple tentacles shot out of his sleeves with frightening speed.
- Arm, leg, leg, arm, waist. Neck. Fall struggled and choked, but as tentacles wrapped her up and lifted her into the air, it was clear she was well and truly trapped.
- As Baiken emerged from the dust, she too succumbed. An extended arm, a telekinetic grip, and her comeback was over. Sylar held them both, choking the life out of them. He allowed himself a confident chuckle. "Hard to breathe down here, isn't it? You could say-"
- He cut himself off when it felt like his tentacles had lit on fire. Fall hadn't broken her way out, but her rage was growing, drawing on more and more of her latent power. Suspended in the air by the tentacles, there was only one direction to channel it. Primordial energy flowed into them, and as Sylar watched, yellow eyes began to open along the tips, accompanying a pain like a white hot iron being pressed directly against his brain. Before it got worse, he swung his arm around and hurled Fall away, putting her straight through the wall of a nearby cell with the force of his throw.
