- Alexithymiaa: -Adam sat on the couch in the living room, his body hunched over with his elbows resting on his knees, his phone pressed to his ear as he listened to his mother's voice on the other end. "Are you sure? Because-" He stopped when he heard her begin speaking again, moving his free hand to scratch at the back of his head. "I know it is. But I'm just trying to do what I thought I should." Chewing on the inside of his cheek, he nodded his head. "I know, Mom."-
- Tsaaq: She had been sitting on the roof, Hayley carefully climbed through the open window near the game area. With a sigh she closed the window and went to go down the stairs towards the kitchen before seeing Adam on the couch she stopped and doubled back towards the stairs.
- Alexithymiaa: -He rolled his eyes like I imagine all nineteen year old boys do when they talk to their mothers on the phone, letting out a sigh. "Yes ma'am. I will." Hearing the faint sound of footsteps, he turned his head to look over in Hayley's direction, seeing her on the stairs, but not saying anything because phone.-
- Tsaaq: She went to sit on the step and remained silent until she heard him spoke. Once she realized he was on the phone she got up once more and strode into the kitchen. She opened the fridge and tried to rummage around quickly, cause snacks.
- Alexithymiaa: "I promise. I'll see you in a couple weeks. Love you." He smiled a little before pulling his phone away from his ear, looking at the screen to end the call, setting his phone down beside him on the couch and moving his eyes over to Hayley in the kitchen. "Hey."-
- Tsaaq: "Hi." She greeted quietly as she closed the refrigerator. "I thought I was hungry but I don't think I am..." She trailed off as she lowered her head.
- Alexithymiaa: "I think when that happens to me, I'm usually just bored." He spoke gently, twisting on the couch so he could face the kitchen moreso.-
- Tsaaq: She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. I'm not really doing anything. I was hanging out on the roof but... It's getting kinda cold and it's dark so I can't really do that anymore." She rambled.
- Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, it's a little cold to spend any extended time outside at this point..." He trailed off into silence, rubbing the palms of his hands over his legs.-
- Tsaaq: "And it's probably weird to do anyways." She said after staring at him a moment. "I guess I'm gonna go lay down or something then." Hayley said as she began to walk out of the kitchen.
- Alexithymiaa: "Why is it weird?" He asked, his eyes moving to follow her toward the stairs. "Why?"-
- Tsaaq: Hayley stopped glanced back at him. "I don't know, because I'm a weirdo?" She answered quietly then crossed her arms over her chest.
- Alexithymiaa: "I don't really think you're a weirdo..." He spoke in a small voice, rubbing his hands together uncomfortably in front of him.-
- Tsaaq: She pressed her lips tightly together while frowning. "Oh..." She said as she went to lean against the banister. "I don't know. I say dumb stuff, ignore me." Hayley said weakly.
- Alexithymiaa: "You really don't." He dropped his eyes down to look into his lap, feeling Lady's fur on his feet as she walked by him to sit down.-
- Tsaaq: "I don't know..." She whispered. "It feels like I do." She shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry. I was trying to stay away so I could stop being a downer around you."
- Alexithymiaa: "I want you to be you, Hayley. I dont want you to try to hide or do anything that isn't true to yourself on my behalf."-
- Tsaaq: "I'm tired of making you uncomfortable and shit because I'm crazy." Hayley said. "I can tell, nobody likes it when I act like myself. That's why I don't have any friends."
- Alexithymiaa: "It doesn't matter about me. You need to do what makes you happy. And being someone you're not isnt going to make you happy. Being true to yourself will. You're the only one who can give that to you."-
- Tsaaq: She shrugged her shoulders a moment as she stepped closer to him. "It does matter about you. You're a big part of my life obviously. And nothing I do makes me happy anyways. So maybe just acting like everything is okay again will make me feel better?" She said.
- Alexithymiaa: "I really don't think that's the answer...." He let out a sigh, rubbing a hand over his face. "I think you need to focus on you. Focus on what you want and making yourself happy, regardless of anyone else. You shouldn't be worrying about me."-
- Tsaaq: "Why would I worry about you..." Hayley said as she furrowed her eyebrows. "That's things people who want to break up say... Are you breaking up with me?" She asked quickly.
- Tsaaq: ((wouldn't*))
- Alexithymiaa: "What? No." He shook his head, rolling his eyes. "I just think you need to stop worrying about everyone else and worry about you. You seem like you have enough trouble with yourself and you don't need to add anyone else to that to complicate things further. Stop thinking about why you don't have any friends and just relax a little."-
- Tsaaq: She furrowed her eyebrows at him a moment and chewed the inside of her cheek. "And how exactly am I supposed to relax?" She challenged him. "I don't have anything to distract myself from my shit brain. Drinking makes shit worse, drugs are bad for you, and I can't do anything by myself anymore because my thoughts just get louder and louder. I can't just 'relax'" Hayley did air quotes.
- Alexithymiaa: "You don't need to numb your mind to find an answer. You just need to figure out what it is that makes you happy and focus on that."-
- Tsaaq: "You make you happy?" Hayley said awkwardly. "And sleeping I guess. No, not really..." She muttered. "I don't really have things that make me happy anymore." She shifted on her feet. "Wait..." Hayley whispered. "I know what would make me happy."
- Alexithymiaa: "That's just it. You need to find those things. Rediscover yourself." He said with a smile, leaning forward to listen to her. "What?"-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head as her face brightened a bit. "I'm gonna trick Thaddeus into getting me pregnant again." Hayley answered. "I mean, that solves everybody's problems. You don't want to have sex, and I want a baby. It's a win-win." She grinned a bit. "I could use Harper's room as a nursery. I hope it's a boy." Hayley began to ramble. "Let me check her room really quick-" She went towards the stairs again.
- Alexithymiaa: "Wait. Hayley." He pushed his hands against his face because what the fuck just happened. "I dont think that's a very good idea..."-
- Tsaaq: "Why not?" Hayley asked as she turned around. "I don't want to sleep with him either but... I mean. At least I'll get what will make me happy." She whispered.
- Alexithymiaa: "Because a baby is a product of love. Or at least... it should be. And they're also very big responsibilities. They require a lot of time, care, love, and money. And right now? I just don't think it's the time for that."-
- Tsaaq: She stared up at him with a frown. "You know, for somebody who doesn't want to create that with me your sure do have a lot of opinions about it." Hayley said in a grumble. "I'm going to love the baby, like, a lot. I mean, I love the one I lost. Imagine a baby that actually makes it. And what else am I doing with myself now?" She asked. "Sure I'm in school but, am I good at it? Would it matter if I stayed or I left? No. I've got the time and the energy, this is what I want."
- Alexithymiaa: (He's panicking.)
- Alexithymiaa: -He looked frantically into her face, pushing to stand up from the couch. "But you need to stay in school. School is important. There will be time for babies later..."-
- Tsaaq: "Important for what?!" She asked him as she stormed back over to him. "I don't even know what I want to do! I'm not good enough at anything! Nothing matters." She shouted then sighed. "And you said it yourself. You want to adopt. This is my chance! Thaddeus wants my vag, all I have to do is get drunk and seduce him or whatever.
- Tsaaq: ((-pats- It's okay Adam.))
- Alexithymiaa: -He took a step back away from her, holding up his hands in innocence. "That's not what I meant... I just..." He stammered, unsure of what to even say. "I don't really want any part of that..."-
- Tsaaq: She scoffed a moment. "You don't. That's the point. You get to not have sex with me since sex is dumb to you or whatever. And I get to be pregnant." She retorted.
- Alexithymiaa: "No... I mean..." He shifted on his feet, feeling the word vomit just bubbling up. "A baby. I don't want anything to do with a baby right now. Or you sleeping with Thaddeus."-
- Tsaaq: "Oh... Of course not." Hayley said in a whisper before lowering her head. "Because you're young and you have your whole future ahead of you that I'm clearly not in anyways." She said loudly as she sniffled. "Nevermind. I don't want a shitty broken family... If you don't want to be the dad then-" Hayley paused. "Why am I even alive? I'm just a waste of life." She muttered as she went into the kitchen opening one of the drawers loudly.
- Alexithymiaa: "I never said that. It's just... I'm nineteen... and I can barely afford to feed myself right now. I just don't see a baby being the right decision right now. School is so intense and it's only going to get harder from here. It's just not the right time."-
- Tsaaq: "Don't worry, I understand." Hayley said before sighing a little and slamming the drawer closed. "It's okay. Everything is gonna be okay." She whispered then hurriedly walked out of the kitchen and went down the hallway towards the bathroom and closing the door and trying to go through the cabinets in there.
- Alexithymiaa: "Hayley..." He spoke gently as she walked away, dropping his hands in defeat. "Okay...." He mumbled, snapping his fingers for Lady and turning to head up the stairs to his bedroom.-
- Tsaaq: She sighed and closed the cabinets and sighed in frustration as she stormed out of the bathroom and went up the stairs so she could go out onto the roof again.
