  1. Exercise? What was she? A punching bag for him? Probably the mindset, but Vivien wasn't going to gracefully allow that. Her eyes rolled when he underestimated her. She would hurt him, and maybe she wasn't the strongest mage in the multiverse, a few levels below Vincent, but there was the reason why the woman was still alive that went beyond Fate. When he questioned what side she wanted, she nods her head. "Well, I'd prefer you two work in harmony, but I know that is easier said than done. It is something I still struggle with. However, I don't believe it is right for you to always be locked away!" Leave it to Vivien to try to make friends with someone who committed some of the darkest of sins that humanity could offer. His pleasures were similar to hers in a lot of regards, but Vivien did her best to practice self-control when she could, although her self-control was rather poor most of the time. For now, she was exercising it. If there was a threat, she had to have the mind of a warrior although her mentality was often slippery. When he brought up the shield she shrugs, "I'm not the one throwing attacks first now am I? I'm not an idiot; I'm not going to try to talk to a madman without a defense!" As soon as that air at her, she challenges the gust with pulse blasts of mana to at least help balance the force. She wasn't going to be pushed around so easily. However, her pulse blasts weren't constant caused her floating body to back up some from the gust. As it increases, Vivien decides to use it to her advantage and ride out the gust so she could widen her distance. She rolls her eyes yet again and calls out, "You a fool to underestimate me! I haven't shown you anything!" Vivien was missing her motivation to fight. She was in a state of playing passive and defensive. Nevertheless, she would get once he called her a failure and spoke of her parents, she would get her motivation. Her aura flares up in aggression and irritation. "Shut up! You don't know a thing! How dare you talk ill amount my might as an Everstone! I guess I'll just have to show you who you are dealing with then!" She'd fall for the taunt. The sensitive mage would feel the spark of magic from above. The expert at the arcane arts knew exactly what element was being called upon. She didn't even more, she let all three strikes hit her shield which weakened it, but mana would continue to supply it. Knowledge was power, and for that, most simple magical assaults left her without harm. However, the sword he had of the combination of all the elements she had to be more wary of. Piercing plus calling upon all elements appeared like something she needed to avoid. It would be then Vivien felt his presence more behind her. Before she could turn around, she was kicked, and once again her floating body would take advantage of it, and she would fly forward to try to keep the gap. It wasn't until he was that close did she truly realize that sword he was wielding was enchanted with the Holy element or what she would perceive as light magic. While holy elements often were also weak to darkness, it would not aid her much here since he wasn't a holy being himself. Having enough and with that sword coming at her, the woman bolts up to the sky. She flies up high to around the height of a skyscraper (about 600 meters) with ease. It seemed like it was time to play keep away. If he couldn't reach her, this fight was won as she would be able to get this much range. If he thought otherwise, he was in for a surprise. She looks down at the small figure that was him and her aura making her stick out like a sore thumb upon the solid blue sky. For a split second, her aura would shift to green for a spontaneous cast. It was Haste, and it had increased her physical, casting, and thought process by 70%. Her arm extends, violet eyes locking on him, and she begins firing. Usually, Vivien could fire around two orbs a second, but it would turn into about three on average thanks to Haste. The mage though wasn't just targeting the Other's physical body. No, the woman was always looking beyond the physical realm, it was apparent enough even in normal conversation with her. She was targeting his very existence. She could sense his spirit and lifeforce, and that was her actual target. Medium sized orbs of explosive mana rapid fire from her right palm to fly down at rapid speed and crash towards him. If he were to move to avoid, her orbs would be sure to follow since once again, she wasn't targeting his physical body in a sense and she could will her magic to home in. However, the orbs would ignite upon contact if that be him or not and at the speed they were going; they could only turn so sharply. Orb after orb, they fire from her, whatever they crashed into would be hit with the might of at least a grenade of an explosion and the buzz of magical damage. If they smashed into the Earth instead of him, he would be faced with possible harm or distraction from debris. This would continue on for about thirty seconds unless unstopped, meaning around nine orbs of dark, explosive magic were fired at him as the woman in many cases could be referred to as a trigger happy gunner.
