Yo how's it goin everyone

It's Monday (somehow) and I'm writing a pastebin on time (somehow) and I also I didn't have school today. Why didn't I have school today? Well, I did, I just skipped it because I was visiting a college. What college? Drexel. Holy crap I'm glad I got this last second visit in. To put things into perspective, if I want to choose Early Decision (you only apply to one and if I get in I'm legally binded to go to that school) to a college, I have to apply by November 1st, which is next Friday. Drexel has two (2) amazing nationally ranked programs I want to look at, one being Music Industry, second being Game Design. Now, when applying to Drexel, you MUST declare your major when you apply and you're applying to the major you want to study. HOWEVER, you're allowed to have a "backup" major just in case you don't get into your top pick. What I'm planning to do right now (this could change incredibly quickly) is applying to the Music Industry major, with a Game Design backup. In a perfect world, I get into Music Industry and minor in Computer Science, as Game Design doesn't have a minor. However, I would be perfectly happy getting into the Game Design major and minoring in something Music related (Business/Performance/Theory.) Now, there's also another college in the mix, that being Dickinson. Dickinson is great and I would be perfectly happy going there, but it doesn't allow you to apply with Early Action (which is just Regular Decision but earlier, also November 1st deadline) while Drexel does. This means, that if I don't get into Drexel at all, I have to wait until January to apply to Dickinson and any other schools I want to apply to, which puts even more pressure on me. Now, I can ED to Dickinson and EA to Drexel, but if I would have gotten into one of Drexel's programs ED, then I'm not gonna feel to great. Oh, and did I mention November 1st is next Friday? Good, because it is. My essay still sucks, I need to finish the rest of the common app, my parents still need to do the FAFSA/CSS (financial aid bc we need the money) and we're just behind everything right now which SUCKS.

So yeah, that's personal life, now let's talk about online:
So I started the Ocarina of Time playthrough, and that's been a blast so far. I've learned around halfway of Galaxy 2, and hopefully I can learn the last half quicker then the first half. I'm running KNIDL Any% and CTGP 16 Rando at Diet HUTEfest this weekend, I believe at around 12:30 PM ET on Saturday, so that's gonna fun, and hopefully less of a trainwreck then the last marathon run. This means we get to see KNIDL Any% Derust and CTGP 32 runs this week, as well as SMG2 Learning and the OOT Playthrough. But with college stuff, it might be really hard to find time to stream. Also, guitar streams are really gonna have to wait, because I currently do not own an acoustic guitar. I'm gonna keep writing music, and hopefully I can start actually finishing and producing them to a point I'm happy with so you can all listen to them. I'm also gonna be learning some songs for these types of streams, so if you have any requests, let me know!

What else....
Well I guess because I haven't done a full on life update in a while, and this is already soooooooooooooo long, I'll just keep writing.
I've been SUPER productive recently, with cleaning my room, scheduling out everything, not procrastinating (believe it or not,) and still having time to stream on top of it. It's a really good feeling and hopefully I can keep being this productive. Once this college search ends I'm gonna need to get a job, and I already got rejected at Target which started hiring at $13 an hour so that's a little annoying, but places like Sheetz (ew) start at $10.50 an hour and Wegman's start at $10. I could also wait on tables and make money from tips and all that. Money is kind of important to me right now, because I need to save up for a TON of trips that's happening in the future. This trips are:
- April 25-26 - PACE/D.C. (big competitive speedrunning finals)
- June 8-16 - Costa Rica (school trip, last hurrah as a student bc am senior)
- June ???-??? - SGDQ/Minneapolis (This is a non-negotiable. A week of seeing all these people I've known for what will be 5 years at that point. Super excited. Dates haven't been released yet but it's definitely somewhere in the late June to early July range.)
- July 11-12 - EXALT/New York City (The big MKW IRL Tourney. Definitely wanna go here and meet the MKW squad, and maybe even compete and not suck hopefully)
I had to cut out the ESA/Sweden trip because of funds, and I had to cut out Versus Expo because it was either that or EXALT, and I would prefer to see the MKW gang. But hopefully 2021 I can go to both. I know these are REALLY in the future, but I want to go to all of these so bad (Costa Rica I don't have a choice, I have to go at this point) but I need to worry about paying for college as well. Because of this, I'm gonna have a "trip/college funding" donation goal on my stream for $5000. Now, I DO NOT WHATSOEVER AT ALL EXPECT OR NEED YOU TO DONATE. This is just a good way for me to see how feasible these trips are. Talking about more stream stuff, because I really wanna get good before EXALT next year, I'm hoping to not suck in Mogi anymore. I've been TTing a lot offline, and even though I feel like I'm not improving at all, it's still fun. I'm not gonna be streaming Mogi because it's just distracting, but I might start recording a series called "Lounging Around" because right now I just hit 0 MMR with the last Mogi I did so it'd be funny to see to much I can get from 0.

Uhhhh I guess I'll just talk about school now because I'm still behind on SiivaGunner rips.
My school is weird. It's private, there are 6 kids in my graduating class, and our schedule is run on a 6 Mod basis with 4 classes per mod instead of your typical Semester/Trimester/Quarter basis. Right now we're in Mod 2, and I got ok Mod 1 grades, nothing too special. Mod 2's been pretty fun though. I'm taking Biology which is kinda bleh, but I've been in worse bio classes. I'm also taking this stats class rn which is really interesting, as well as this history class where we are creating this museum-like thing where we go into detail about several things that just disappeared, and the "thing" I got was people (I was against describing the museum as "dissapearing things" rather than just "dissapearances" for this reason) so that's been kinda cool to research. I'm also taking American Sign Language which is....... interesting to say the least. So yeah that's cool.

Uh what else.
Oh, going back to stream stuff I ordered a GCN Controller input display from my good friend Artemis who just started making displays, so yeah be excited for that. I'm also thinking of buying a new nunchuck because mine SUCKS. I also switched up a lot of alert things. Those switches are:
- Gold split sounds are now "LOOK AT THIS GRAAAPH"
- Sub alerts are now "THE WINNER IS....... YOUUUU" with rox82YOU in the background
- Raid alerts are still Led Zeppelin ft. me screaming but the picture is now rox82AAAA
- Donation alerts are still me screaming (I think it's a different scream then the raid alert one?) but I want that to be updated to something just as loud and annoying but a little different than the raid alert. The picture has also been changed to rox82Love
- While the PB sound for KNIDL is, and will always be, the godlike "Fountain of Dreams" SiivaGunner rip. I'm still finding a good one for Galaxy 2. So if you have any suggestions or recommendations let me know. It HAS to be a SiivaGunner rip of SMG2 though, otherwise your request is invalidated.
Oh yeah, also my Smash 4 disk isn't being read by the Wii U which is unfortunate. And next blind race with Snipr is SMW2: Yoshi's Island, so get excited for that. We played Splatoon which was SO fun, then Snipr chose Fast Rolling after he won and we did it right after because we thought it would take 15 minutes, but it took us 50, and he won by 30 seconds and it was incredibly hype.



That's all I can think of right now but I'm probably gonna think of something else the second I hit "Create New Paste" so expect more lol.
