  39. HOW WE WILL RECORD COMMENTARY
  40. ==========================
  41. Once we link up in Discord and you are ready I will count us down from 3 and then we will both hit play at the same time. Take a breath, then do your intro. Race will begin in 15 seconds from hitting play. After the runners finish I will tell you what their time was (Only you will be able to hear me, so do not respond directly). Once the second player finishes, you can recap and wrap it up.
  42.
  43. You can just generically welcome everyone at the start, and then wrap it up with a "back to you (in the studio)" at the end. Nothing fancy or specific since this will give me greater editing leeway.
  44.

  46. S.H.I. TOURNAMENT OLYMPIC EVENT INFO
  47. ==========================
  48.
  49. This is just additional information for your knowledge. You do not have to acknowledge any of it, but I figured you might want to know a little about the tournament. We/I pronounce the tournament as The S-H-I (pause) Tournament Olympics, and never by the vulgar acronym. If you are uncomfortable spelling it out even, you can just call it the S-H-I Olympics, The Olympics, or the Super Mario 3 Event.
  50.
  51. The (Traditional) SHI Tournament is made up of 16 people in 2 tiers. There is an "Upper Deck" and a "Cesspool". Both these racers are in the "Upper Deck". We have promotion and relegation so people move up (float) or move down (sink) every season. The Olympics is a one-off event that pairs someone from the Upper Deck with someone from the Cesspool. From there they went and recruited a 3rd person from outside the tournament to fill the three man team.
  52.
  53. There are 6 games (called "events") in the Olympics. All three NES Super Mario Bros. games, Tetris (NES), Super Mario Kart (SNES), and Zelda II Randomizer. One person from every team will play two of the games.
  54.
  55. The races are being post-produced (like we are doing) and edited together as "Primetime" shows that are shown weekly on Fridays (my channel) at 10pm edt. The only exception was Zelda II Randomizer which was shown live.
  56.
  57. Thank you once again for doing this. I will see you at 6pm edt!
