  83. ## Bio
  84.
  85. ### Description
  86.
  87. - Male, age 18. Pronouns: He, him.
  88. - Permanently blue skin. Hair dyed green.
  89. - Typically wears plain, disposable tshirts.
  90. - Muscular but not terrifyingly so. Think Rocky Balboa.
  91. - Player; serial heartbreaker. Frequently seen at juice bars hitting on girls and drinking multiple soft drinks at once.
  92.
  93. ### Superhero persona - Jet
  94.
  95. - As stated, permanently blue skin.
  96. - Incapable of hiding his identity so he doesn't bother.
  97. - Fights barechested. (and yes, there is shirt tearing.)
  98. - Wears specialty footwear and shorts that allow water to easily pass through.
  99.
  100. ### Backstory
  101.
  102. > • Who changed you?
  103. > • How did you escape from them?
  104. > • Who, outside the team, tries to take care of you now?
  105. > • Why do you try to be a hero?
  106. > • Why do you care about the team?
  107.
  108. One day about 1 year ago, Tony spotted a flyer on the wall by the rec room:
  109.
  110. ```
  111. CALLING ALL ATHELETES!
  112.
  113. The Lunar Wharf Transportation Research Center is
  114. soliciting volunteers to test out
  115.
  116. NEW TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGY
  117.
  118. * Quick and painless procedure; 10 minutes tops
  119. * Pays 500 dollars
  120. * Volunteers must be reasonably fit and receptive to new
  121. and groundbreaking ways of life.
  122. ```
  123.
  124. 10 applicants went, but only he was selected. He had to sign some sort of NDA, was placed in a chair under restraint, and the procedure began.
  125.
  126. When he next came to, his skin was blue, purportedly due to a bad skin reaction. Enraged, he began to struggle, and jets of water burst from him and destroyed the restraints. Security tried to stop him from leaving the facility, but he escaped. Presumably the LWTRC is still searching for their failed experiment today, and who knows what they plan to do with him.
  127.
  128. He is a hero mostly due to social pressure. After using his powers to show off, he quickly became known as Jet. Thanks to his blue skin, he no longer has the option to shrug off responsibility when events occur, as the world will know and hate him for it.
  129.
  130. Shard saw his struggle and sent out a distress signal; SABER responded by sending out two operatives. In the escape, we had to defeat `________` (sound-based villain hired by research center).
  131.
  132.
  133. ### Abilities
  134.
  135. > Someone or something changed you, made you into a perfect weapon: superhumanly tough, incredibly strong, and uniquely skilled at fighting. Decide how each of those abilities manifests.
  136.
  137. Jet can spray jet streams of water from any surface of his skin.
  138.
  139. **Brainstorming ways to use his powers:**
  140. - Attacks:
  141. - Jetstreams can enhance many forms of physical attack by providing additional thrust
  142. - He can attack something distant with water, but unless he is held against something sturdy, he must also spray in the opposite direction to hold his body in place. (good for causing collateral damage)
  143. - Movement:
  144. - Glide across the ground with continuous water released from the soles.
  145. - Charge forward by release jet from the body while gliding. (poor control!)
  146. - Effective at movement in zero-G
  147.
  148. Note that the muscles are real (not just e.g. a manifestation of water); they developed as a consequence of exerting his body through the use of his powers.
  149.
  150. He does have a limited water supply, but only as a plot device. There is no visual component to this; when low on water, he begins to suffer from dehydration. (dizziness, irrational behavior, possibly passing out)
  151.
  152. Can create streams starting an inch or two away from the skin (requires intense concentration). This allows some form of mobiilty when in a space suit out in space.
  153.
  154. ### Starting Labels
  155.
  156. Total: +3
  157.
  158. * **Danger:** +2
  159. * **Freak:** +1
  160. * **Savior:** −1
  161. * **Superior:** +1
  162. * **Mundane:** 0 (+1 added)
  163.
  164. ### Starting relationships
  165.
  166. * **Ovi** is your love. You’ve opened up to them about the worst parts of your past.
  167. - Jet is, well... a player. You can be sure he had ulterior motives for choosing to confide in the only female on the team.
  168. * **Mal** is your rival. They tried to control you at a crucial moment.
  169. - We knew each other in school. (Private school). Jet tried to cheat on a test and Mal tattled.
